happy astral day!!! 🎉🎉 it’s our fifth one!

i have been absolutely bodied by art block for the past year, and it still hasn’t let up. but i managed to eek this out at the last possible minute. leave it to me to procrastinate on a day i made for myself X’))

painting digitally has been very fun though heeheehee >:)) i hope i’ve gotten slightly better at it aha

so this was the actual picture that inspired the drawing! i took it and was like hey, what if i painted this real quick. and i never busted out ibis faster

finishing the year off with a second zine posting 🫡 🥳🎉

this was the second of the two pieces i did for the @ygocookbookzine ! 🍗 i personally made karaage to try to figure out how it tasted, since i never had it before and sometimes when you really wanna get into an art you gotta try the other mediums first 🙂‍↔️

ended up burning myself with oil but hey! it turned out way tasty so 😎🔥

again, i really enjoyed working on this zine. it was very fun for me to do and everyone was so awesome possum at their parts ☺️💞💞 super proud of what we did! >:O!!

compared to the last one, working on this one H A D M E. i could not get an idea to stick for the longest time. but i finally managed to so 😼

i REALLY really wanted to have gilag and astral closely clash ok :-( i couldn’t make it a reality but i got the other idea working and that makes me so happy ☺️

this is where i finally nailed the idea i wanted. the relief was overwhelming

i put a lot of thought into how i wanted things to look. couldn’t fit it all in there but gang, i tried. i really did

finally zine posting! :D aaaa i’m so late..

this was the first of the two pieces i did for @ygocookbookzine ! 🍨 i did alit’s BARian milkshake, with a lil er um diner twist 👯‍♀️👯‍♀️

this was my first zine experience and it was super fun to do! everyone was so sweet and did amazing, i’m really proud of all our hard work! 😊💞💞

yes it was a lot. no i couldn’t fit the hands in. very sad about that tbh

the 3ds had to be there (cuz like???? the 3ds zexal game?? i had to show that somehow)

the colors were hard to decide and i eventually settled, but i still like the darker one ngl…. the red eye is so cool

and a bonus that i never got to flesh out in time, which is ok! maybe someday

also psst… the bow tie heart’s face was based off of omori’s sprout moles! 🌱 and the menu hearts were based off hanna-barbera cartoons! 🐻 bonus fun fact :0
