This piece is based on something I’m doing for a creative writing unit:

Fortune's Bluff centres on Finn Gallagher, a reluctant fortune teller who took up the profession to earn some extra cash over the summer. Much to his astonishment, Finn soon realises that his predictions are eerily accurate. Before he can get used to this new reality, his world is turned further upside down when he experiences the daunting vision of a clients’ murder.

I haven’t been doing fanart or reading fanfics for a while now unfortunately (a fate worse than death) due to my uni coursework overflowing, but here’s something I did in my downtime over the span of a few months

I know it’s 2020 but Merlin AU where Uther notices a bunch of problems that could only be solved by magic ~spontaneously~ getting solved around Arthur, and concludes that this must be a side effect of Arthur only existing due to magical intervention. An intense bigotry-versus-parental-love internal conflict commences, followed by some that’s-pretty-hypocritcal-of-you-isn’t-it-dad screaming external conflict, generally upending everything. Merlin is standing in the corner the entire time holding a serving jug of mead and sweating.

Haven’t posted in ages, but I’ve begun drawing random cityscapes and scenes out of objects on my desk in-between uni work. The second one is an aquarium made out of my hot chocolate thermos. It’s fun because I never under how to backgrounds, but you can see my learning to get more creative! :))

I fucking love this last one - my absolute favourite so far because of the purple highlights I thought to add on the back of the robot because of ambient starlight

This entire premise is hilarious, so of course I had to make a little cartoon about it

I do think it would be a very funny fic to read where the magic reveal happens at the perfect intersection of Arthur trusts Merlin implicitly, and Uther is still alive and a raging asshole, and Arthur’s solution isn’t to nobly send Merlin away and pine miserably. Oh no. He finds a medieval fantasy version of a squirt bottle and squirts Merlin with it whenever Arthur catches him using magic like Merlin is a cat that keeps trying to chew electric cords.
