Soulbinder Muruuna - Fallen Guardian of Auchindoun, Acolyte of Murmur
Item List:

This was a personal idea after I heard the murmurings (lol) about a potential Bard class coming next expansion, or something to that effect, and i thought what better way to express the idea of "Sound as Damage" than a disciple of Murmur, the Elemental God of Sound (possibly), who's very whispers could destroy planets.

Shaya Sunbearer

Devout of An'she, oathsworn to the legacy of the lost Sunbearer Tribe of Uldum.
--------
I thought I had posted my long backstory for this character but in effect I made this character out of spite for Blizzard cutting the An'she content from Uldum for the Sunwalkers, in favor of the Indiana Jones gag lol, so this is Shaya Sunbearer, a Shu'halo tauren who's splinter tribe fled into Tanaris and then Uldum to escape the Centaur raiders, ultimately to perish to the harsh conditions of the desert. Eventually by some miracle, half-dead, she finds a hidden oasis, containing the lost ruins of the Sunbearer tribe, devotees of An'she who lived in harmony in Uldum until madness afflicted the Stoneborn Tol'vir, and they were wiped out. She is the last bearer of their history and legacy, a devotee of An'she and a paragon of the Sunwalkers.

Newest to the list is Cass, the Zul'Daran Hex Hunter, or as I've started endearingly naming him, the Mardi Gras Rougarou!
Transmog List:

Context: I have this running gag in my head about WoW characters from completely retconned, abandonded, or de-canonized lore for WoW and one that i thought was interesting was, in this case, the Island of Zul'Dare, a suspiciously Troll-ish sounding island off the coast of Gilneas in the original WoW alpha/rpg. Almost no lore for this island exists except that it sounds like a Troll Island, there MAY have been Forest Trolls there, and after they left humans settled there, before being evacuated during the Second War. So this is where the headcanon comes in.
Zul'Dare
HC: Zul'Dare was an island occupied by Forest Trolls for hundreds of years, who worshipped the now lost Serpent Goddess Loa Ula-Tek. However in a ritual gone wrong, most of the Zul'Dari were lost in an attempt to summon Ula-Tek to the island, to conquer the nearby human kingdoms, leaving the survivors to flee to the mainland, eventually absorbing into the Revantusk and Witherbark.
Fast forward a few decades, and the human settlers of what was then Ancient Gilneas find the ruins of the island with no signs of life except some fractured artifacts, and a series of statuettes, altars and other iconography depicting Ula-Tek. The Gilneans settle this region and as time goes on, Ula-Tek, being a cunning Goddess, whispers to the Gilneans about the power of the Voodoo and begins influencing all elements of their culture, in an attempt to bring about her summoning once again. Over time the Human Zul'Darans begin incorporating Voodoo and other elements of typically trollish culture into theirs, and even begin providing offering s to Ula-Tek.
However, her plan for summoning would ultimately be foiled, as the events of the Second War would bring about the Kul Tiran Navy and the Horde to blows, forcing the Zul'Darans to flee, some resettling in Kul Tiras, others in Gilneas. (Note, Zul'Daran refugees in Kul Tiras would begin referring to themselves as "Kul'Darans")
After the world, the Island of Zul'Dare would be left destroyed, and some Zul'Darans believed that Ula-Tek herself coiled around the island, and drug it to the bottom of the sea, never to be seen again. To this day, very few believe the legends of Zul'Dare, and the Zul'Darans remain a very minor, tight-knit community wherever they go, ever protective and suspicious of outsiders who would question their ways.
----------------------------------------------
Ultimately the inspiration for Zul'Dare and by extension Cass is very Creole in origin, mixing elements of the Gilnean and Troll culture, parallelling the real life admixture of French/English and Afro-Carribean cultures, and I really enjoyed crafting so much story out of what is essentially not even canon anymore lol, but I hope anyone who sat through this all enjoyed it! And feel free to incorporate the Legend of Zul'Dare in your own writings, if you wish.

Void Elves are a product of that weird period of time between 7.2-9.2.5 where Blizzard was hellbent on reluctantly giving players what they asked for (High Elves) but in a way that no one wanted.

I'd also like to clarify I do enjoy both Void Elves and High Elves but let's not pretend Velfs weren't a half-assed way to get the Quel'dorei fans to shut up about adding them. Ian Hazzikostas made that pretty clear when they came out.

Finally decided to give drawing a try after 8 years and came back with this headshot of my WoW character Keara Shadebough, a half-orc half-kaldorei assassin.
A long story short my idea for her is that she is largely contracted by the Wardens and Sentinels to eliminate Orc and Troll targets in Kalimdor near Kaldorei installations because with just a bit of make up and a convincing amount of acting, she can usually convince horde civilians that she *is* indeed horde. This allows her a greater deal of freedom when operating in more risky, public situations.

I think when Sylvanas returns to the narrative of WoW, i think she should come back wearing a mask/death mask, calling back to the symbol of the Forsaken itself; wandering Azeroth as either righteous outlaw or doomed hero, trying to hide herself from those she harmed but still repent for what she's done.

#sylvanas windrunner#world of warcraft#warcraft#shadowlands#i don't really have much more to add#i just like heroes who wear masks
