Spring Social & Curiosity Museum Kickstarter Launch

This is a party to celebrate the launch of our Kickstarter! The Kickstarter will be launched the day of the party. This fundraiser is going to be used to create a small curiosity museum here at Pandora's Box. York is such a wonderfully weird place and deserves something really odd to browse and fascinate people. Greg and Heather will both be in attendance and on hand to answer your questions about the shop, the museum, all we create and curate as we have a drink together in the private event room at the Royal Oak.

Answer your questions about what exactly we are doing with this "museum" idea, talk weird stuff with your people, have a laugh, a drink and a great night out celebrating their book and the art of taxidermy with like minded people.

This is a ticketed event as space will be limited. Your ticket price will include two raffle entries (additional entries can be purchased)

Letters and Drawings Collection From Charles Bronson to Reggie Kray

This collection of laminated letters and drawings are all stamped with the official prison release stamps.

This specimen is mounted on acid free paper in a wooen frame under glass . He measures about 17 cm long. The frame is approximately 19 cm square.

Oddities Subscription Service (Trial Box)

Our subscription boxes are different from our Pandora's Boxes in that you may receive several items or just one oddity.  You can let us know if you have any phobias or aversions or just already own too many of something and we will do our best not to duplicate items.  This is a fabulous and exciting way to grow your collection of curiosities with the element of surprise!. All boxes will come with a couple of little extras and the photos are meant to depict sample boxes and do not guarantee you'll receive those exact items. Boxes are valued at between £45-65 retail value (before shipping) as found in our shop and are not exchangeable as you agree to be surprised and we promise to make it fun and unusual.  If you are unhappy with the boxes we are happy to cancel further boxes but refunds on these will not be available except in unusual circumstances. As always contact us with a problem and we are happy to work with you to a resolution. This box sells for £45 and will come with a discount code to apply if you decide to then subscribe.  These are only available in the UK at this time. If you order this from outside the UK, you will be offered a refund or asked if you'd prefer a Pandora's Box which is detailed in  a separate listing.

This is a book launch party and celebration! Katie Innamorato and Divya Anaranthaman did a thing...

They wrote this amazing book about taxidermy methods in modern times. Both are well known incredible young taxidermists partly responsible for the surge in interest of this favourite Victorian hobby. They've both taught classes around the world and worked with museums, press agencies and won numerous taxidermy awards for their stunning work.

Now they are coming from New York to York just for one weekend to celebrate their book with their UK fans and followers. There will also be a special class taught at the shop by them on Saturday!

This party will be an opportunity to have them sign your book,. Answer your questions about taxidermy, have a laugh, a drink and a great night out celebrating their book and the art of taxidermy with like minded people.
