Within the free city of Lethis on the shores of the lake bearing the same name, lies the black stone structure known as the Grand Mausoleum, Stormkeep of the Anvils of the Heldenhammer, built to guard the Realmgate known as The Veil. Liberators stand as the backbone of the defence against the legions of Nagash, in this his home realm.

Being older style liberators, fem sculpts were rare numbering 2, 1 from underworlds and a limited run primus. Thus this kitbash of Neave Blacktalon. Her fur cloak was filed smooth, extras folds sculpted in, her trademark axes swapped out for a warhammer and shield. A few other bit and pieces were modified and finally a head swap.

The Daughters of Persephone Space Marine sketching continues. Lots o pencils. Will play with it a bit more then consider colouring it.

With each reforging the Anvils of the Heldenhammer grow more death like. Their skin becoming corpse, their voices unable to be raised more then a whisper. These heroes long dead, returned to life.

Finished my store anniversary Knight Questor, and a rescue mini Knight Incantor

Painted a singular mini for my Daughters of Persephone to try out mixing up a few bits of my approach. Almost no washes, and doing the black line earlier then usual. Wont be my go to, but will incorporate some of the approach.

Belladonna De'Escher, Former noble turned underhive bounty hunter after the murder of her husband during their wedding reception, also costing her an arm, leg and eye.

Hates being confused with the other Donna It was a fiddly one to paint

We refused to be drones of the emperor. Fodder in forever wars, fed a diet of our own endless dead. We refused to be forcibly mechanized by zealots of ancient technologies. Instead we welcomed union with demons, pacts that cost humanity to preserve it. We chose it. Didn't we?

Every DnD mini in my backlog is now done. Might see about taking a group photo later as I need to sort them. But its done!

Final Dungeons And Dragons minis, 15 to 20. 3 Orcs, painted as Bugbears as I have enough orcs, (and they made them very furry) 2 Yuan-ti and 1 Bones Tiik warrior (a kind of Sahuagin proxy) Leaving me with a single DnD mini to go, and its a big one!

Final Dungeons And Dragons minis, 8-14 of 21. A loose collection of PC and NPC models.

Wow these ones were rough going. Featureless faces, detail that might as well have been painted on. Bundles of undecipherable gear, random scale differences. I think I did ok for what they were

Final Dungeons And Dragons minis, 7 of 21. Merregons, A Kobold leader who is very clearly a PC mini, it has a backpack &coin pouch :P & 3 Duergar. Some of these were practically featureless. Some had deep scratches and gouges in the castings. Pretty rough all round. But they are done now. 14 to go!

Another smattering of Dungeons And Dragons minis. Literally only picked these up on the weekend. Might be my fastest turn around yet. Manticore, Spectator, old style Basilisk and two tiny Gazers. These are kinda fin as I can use their Monster Manual art as a colour guide.

This was quite a small mini, with a closer to true scale face then usual making it quite a trick to paint. Still not feeling like working on an army atm, so I'm going to fall back on the old faithful - DnD minis. As I always need more for my games.

Star Player Willow Rosebark! First mini in 4 months. Finally managed to get over some of the creative burnout and paint something. Now just need to do the same with some illustrations.

Finished up a bunch of Necromunda blue bases, and the new test bases for Tyranid assimilation. Fungus growths, slime mold, alien acid blood, bone plates and bony growths.

Drawing the concept art first was definitely useful for the process.
