Red Velvet Cookie x Reader (Dating Headcanons)

Red Velvet Cookie is seen as someone who's serious, a general under Dark Enchantress Cookie. naturally, that's someone who's tough and fierce, strategic and possibly even cold.

… If you're someone close to him, though, he quickly becomes all of those things, plus warm and surprisingly tender, soft like he is with his cake hounds. He is such a dog dad, and it doesn't take long to find this out if you enter any kind of relationship with him.

As a general rule, if you're wanting to be closer with him, you have to be someone who likes his cake hounds, or at the very least tolerates them. If you outwardly hate them or are cruel to them, there's no chance.

It's even better if you love them, though. Showing warmth and love towards his cake hounds will endear him to you greatly, regardless of what side of the war you're on. If you're just as soft to them as he is, there'll be a connection.

If you're in a relationship with Red Velvet Cookie, he's protective towards you. He tries to keep you away from his work if you're different from him, out of worry. If you're on the same side, though, he'll be willing to let you help him, albeit with a lot of precautions. You're important to him, just like his cake hounds.

Dates include hanging out with the cakes, usually. Whether it's sat in bed cuddling, surrounded by piles and piles of dogs, or going on walks to quiet places, likely with about twenty of them tailing you. They're like an extension of him, after all.

He's incredibly gentle when handling you, especially with his cake arm. He's worried about hurting you, you're so fragile. Even if you're not typically 'fragile', he's still worried. He'll always be worried, deep down.

Saying that, though, he can easily pick you up as he pleases. Imagine being about to walk off of something if you're clumsy, and he just scruffs you by the back of your shirt with his cake arm. That kind of thing.

I see him as someone who's easy to fluster, given his lack of experience with such things. Hand holding, especially with his cake hand, cheek kisses, little side hugs as he goes on about his stuff… It's all bound to make him red in the face.

He's not uncomfortable with affection, though. An arm around you to guide you, protectively standing side by side with you, holding you up as his cake hounds excitedly tackle you as a greeting.

Prepare to find everything you own covered in dog hair. Like, everything. I own guinea pigs, and their poop and fur gets EVERYWHERE. So imagine it with… How many dogs?

Overall, he's a protective and serious partner, but with an undeniable amount of tenderness and warmth. He treats you with the same amount of love as his cake hounds, and you've seen how he feels about them.

Hi! Sorry this took a bit! I've never written age regression before, but it was interesting to look into! I've, like, read stuff about it before, but writing it was a new experience entirely, especially for two characters I'm not all that into. It was super fun and enlightening, thank you!

I assume you meant romantic (obviously not specifically for the agere thing, just like in general) so I did write it as such, but it's kept very subtle in case. It's not even the focus, so don't worry. I hope this is okay!

Espresso Cookie x Age Regressor! Reader x Madeleine Cookie

When you started dating Espresso and Madeleine, you’d never even thought about mentioning the whole age regression thing. At least, not at first.

… Maybe you’d just forgotten, until it actually happens, albeit involuntarily. It might happen one day, if you’re overwhelmed or shut down from sensory overload, or as the result of a panic attack.

The two are confused, but still willing to help. It’s not that they’re unaccepting, just a little confused the first time around.

Once everything returns to normal and the dust settles, you realise you’ll likely have to come out about the whole thing. It’s a little scary, and surely they’d…

…. But no! Espresso had already started researching such a thing after the first time. He’s efficient, after all. Madeleine isn’t by any means dumb, but he’s a little bad with social cues I’d like to believe, so Espresso has to clue him in.

So next time it happens, voluntary or involuntary, they’re prepared. When you’re little, Espresso will wrap his cape around you like a blanket. It’s an odd amount of tenderness for him, really. If you’re overwhelmed, he’s likely the one you go to for soothing words and slow hugs.

… Madeleine, on the other hand, is all dramatics and sweeping motions, telling stories and recalling tales. Maybe they’re a bit exaggerated, but with how you laugh and smile and grown visibly warmer at his sweeping motions and funny voices, it’s definitely the right thing.

Like, look at Madeleine and tell me this man wouldn’t be sick at those library things where you read to kids. He’d put on little voices and do huge motions.

If Espresso reads to you, it’s visibly calmer with less dramatics. Like, far less. Probably better for bedtime stories and such, in a way.

Madeleine will spoil you rotten, whether it’s toys or literally anything else you need. Espresso in comparison is a bit more sensitive to your more subtle needs, making sure everything is perfect for you to process your feelings, however big and overwhelming.

For two people with a bit of a ‘rivalry’, albeit a loving one given the nature of your relationship, the two function like a well-oiled machine.
