23 oct // honestly guys i’ve had such a great day today. i gave my students a mid-quarter check-in, asking them what elements of the class they want more or less of. their responses were so good. in the “additional comments” section, a handful of them wrote that this is their favorite class and one of them wrote - and i quote - that my outfits are “always on point.” 

also i finally decided on a manuscript for my paleography final!! i’m gonna look at harley ms 937, which is the folding physician’s almanac. spending a relaxing night looking at other examples of folding almanacs to get an idea of what i’m working with:)

This semester is almost over thank Jesus. I think with hard work I can pass my classes with A’s, so all I have to do is keep working hard. I didn’t end up getting the research internship which I’m pretty bummed about. Now I’m just thinking about what I can do over the summer that will catch the eyes of universities. I feel a little screwed. Any suggestions of what I could do over the summer that would look really good on my transcript (btw i’m planning to apply to Northwestern)?
