Here you go! And thank you for the ask!
I’m a little light on stock at the moment, but it’s still active. I’d love to get some of my paper cut pieces in here soon.

Rodeo horse for the win! Not gonna lie, I’m a little surprised. I will definitely do a mother and baby at some point in the future, this is more to decide what order to work on things. I’m so excited!

I’ve seen a lot in my time as a hunter of trinkets, but almost nothing has unsettled me as much as this vase. I had my back to it and I felt like someone was looking at me. I don’t believe in the supernatural, or vibes or aura, but this thing felt alive somehow. I feel like it’s not at all coming across in the picture. I wanted to get away from it, but I was scared to turn my back on it, like it would be upset if it saw me hurrying to get away, and that would be a very, very bad thing.

Inside of me there are two wolves.
And they both have OCD.

Id love to make a piece that features indigenous representation, but I honestly want to put a couple years worth of research into it so I can do it in a respectful aware-of-the-complete-historical-context kinda way and not in the truck stop home decor kinda way.
I grew up in Oklahoma, so I got a lot more exposure to Native American art and history. I love it, I think it’s gorgeous, but I don’t even want to come close to appropriating any of it. And if that means not depicting native peoples at all then so be it.

Here’s some random 1950s ad copy for those who want it. 1955 Life magazine.
There is a great article about consumer debt that’s genuinely so interesting in retrospect. I’ll probably share that one soon.

The culmination of weeks of work.
I know they don’t look like much, but I’ve really been intentional with each one. Each bead I pick a technique that I want to try, and then experiment with the color scheme. The first few are very obviously burnt, so each bead moving forward I’ve improved on that.
This time around I’m much more patient. I slow down and really focus. When I was in high school, I would just sit down without a real plan and just kind of improvise everything I made. As I got better, this resulted in some really fun, spontaneous beads. Now I’m a parent, and I’m squeezing in time for my hobbies at the end of the day. I don’t want to waste any time, so when I do sit down behind the torch I’m laser focused.
I find bead making to be so relaxing. Hot glass and open flame demand all of your attention, and it pushes all the worries of the day to the back of my mind for a little while. And at the end I have a pretty bead!

My first three buildings together. I still have these…somewhere. I need to get them framed so I can actually display them! They’re part of my old portfolio, but they’re also a great long term test of the glue I used. I think these are almost ten years old at this point!

I made my kids donuts for lunch yesterday, but they were homemade sourdough donuts, so I figure it all balances out.

It doesn’t look like much because it isn’t much, but I can’t tell you how good it feels to do something with glass again.
Maybe it’s because I’m back in Florida, where I first started messing around with glass beads, but it’s been calling me back so loudly I just couldn’t ignore it any longer.
A good friend of mine challenged me in a very gentle yet firm way to get back into making art for art sake and stop being a money grubbing little bitch. All in love, of course.
I scrimped and saved and I have a few bits and pieces to start practicing enamel, and I am planning on getting some rods to go back to lamp working. I cannot wait. I know things feel bleak right now, and I have been really struggling with mental health lately, but to work with the pure colors and vibrancy of glass makes me feel so happy.
I do so hope you’ll stick around to see this new direction my miniature art will take. There will still be paper art, for sure, and I think a lot of what I’ve learned in paper layouts will help me make compelling glass work.

The ship just needs a few more touches, but I’m finding myself at a loss for how to finish this one off. I was going for a Wes Anderson inspired flat lay. It’s of the movie “Jaws”, if you’re unfamiliar. I’ve got The Shark, the three main characters and the ship, which is definitely a character all its own.
It wasn’t until I started working on this project that I realized Orcas kill great white sharks. It’s like finding out Vader means father lol.
As much as I like having all the elements at scale to one another, my current hunch is to rather paint close up portraits of the three main characters, or maybe just get rid of them all together.
I’d love to hear any ideas, but for now this is definitely going in the drawer of doom so I can take a break from looking at is and come back with fresh eyes.

Apparently my pin-up cowgirl was far too risqué for Instagram and TikTok. I don’t make a lot of videos of my process because a good deal of it is literally watching glue dry, but on this occasion I had all my elements ready to be assembled. I was terrified to actually commit to gluing and I really wasn’t sure how it would all look. In the end I think she came out great! I’d love to make more pin-up girls in the future!
