Program Zero

In the bustling metropolis of Tokyo, college student Suzuki Kenji is just trying to navigate the trials of adulthood—balancing exams, a job  and newfound independence. However, his world is turned upside down when he encounters a group of cloaked figures, calling themselves Chasers— superpowered champions of humanity powered by nanotech—who wage war against unidentified monsters that prowl the shadows.

As Kenji finds himself entangled in this brutal struggle, he discovers that he possesses extraordinary abilities that could tilt the delicate balance of power between the competing Chaser factions. But with these gifts comes danger, as rival Chasers grow wary of his potential. Kenji quickly learns that he is viewed as more of  a threat than the monsters themselves, and will attract relentless attempts on his life from those sworn to protect humanity.

Kenji's journey takes him down a path of not only mastering his uncharted powers but also a quest to unravel the secret of  his extraordinary lineage. In a world where the lines between hero and monster blur and every step could be his last, he must determine whether he'll be just a pawn in this age-old battle, or if he has what it takes to flip the board. 

“Program Zero” weaves a tale of courage, acceptance, and the quest for identity amid chaos. It begs the question: "Are monsters born, or made?"
