It's interesting bc Bambi and I were talking about childhood bullying, and for me, kids weren't a problem till I was in middle school and they learned how to bully like adults.

I had kids pick on me in elementary, but adults were the ones telling me I'd go to hell for asking too many questions, abusing me for sensory issues, alternating between force feeding and starving me, insulting my appearance as a child, medically neglecting me, conditioning me to actually believe I am lying about any pain i feel from a young age, etc

And when adults are doing shit like that from your earliest memories, and not just your parents but also them, elementary style bullying is nothing. It's only when kids start acting like those adults that it became a damaging problem for me from kids

And I personally think anyone who can say kids have been worse to them than adults ever are privileged in a way. And I'm coming from a cocsa survivor perspective on that, not a light one at all. I got my ass beat in middle school bc of what adult ideas rubbed off on little girls

the claims that eddie is ooc this season are wild because he’s literally just happy. the therapy is working and he can handle a crisis without spiraling about it. he’s GROWN and he’s still got growing to do of course but i’m so proud of him. and if that makes him ooc then fine i can’t wait to see him be even MORE silly
