People make me feel so left out all the time. I don’t think I’ve had a single genuine friend in my entire life.

“sometimes you have to go back to where it’s familiar to realize your magic again. sometimes you have to go back to the root so you can remember what growth looks like again. sometimes that looks like retuning back home to you.”

talked my head off, worked my tail off, cried my eyes out, walked my feet off, sang my heart out, so you see, there's not much left of me.

the universe is not in a hurry. You are. It’s why you are anxious, stressed and disappointed. Trust that what was meant to be yours, will be yours.

When we desire an object or an experience, what we truly desire aren’t those things but rather the happiness sought through them.
And the experience of happiness itself is something that wells up from within; its source is not outside of us. Such happiness triggered by the external does not make permanent the internal experience.
The desire to be happy can only be completely fulfilled in one way: enlightenment, self-realization. Revelation of happiness’ internal source.
Therefore anyone who desires anything is in reality desiring the realization of the Self.
So no one actually lacks the motivation for the spiritual path. It is already there as the intensity with which we seek happiness. What is needed is clarity regarding what happiness truly is and where its source resides.
That is all.

“When I think of the sadness that follows every pleasure, I often wonder if we can ever truly be happy in a world where everything comes to an end. This dread of time passing and of the nothingness to come”
— Eugène Delacroix, 1853 (via an-overwhelming-question)

Biggest failing of the internet is that in order to be vibing with my friends I have to actually be talking to them. I socialize like a cat I just show affection by sitting next to you. Ily but sometimes I have Nothing to say. Not a damn thing going on in my head

Kashmir by Steve McCurry
Wedged between India with its Hindu majority and Pakistan with its Muslim majority, Kashmir has been caught in the cross fire for more than half a century.
For almost two decades,  the Indian and Pakistani armies have been fighting a war on the 20,000-foot-high Siachen Glacier, the world’s highest battleground.
