Mickey and Minnie Sweetheart Central Park by Thomas Kinkade Studios
Thomas Kinkade Studios is proud to present a romantic, new artwork from their Mickey and Minnie Mouse Sweetheart Series called Sweetheart Central Park. As a life-long admirer of Walt Disney and the wonderful characters he created, Thomas Kinkade envisioned classic Disney characters set within traditional Kinkade images and enjoyed re-creating many of his favorite Disney stories on canvas. The initial Thomas Kinkade Studios image dedicated to the iconic Disney duo, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, was Sweetheart Cove which was released in May 2016, with Sweetheart Bridge following in August 2016, Sweetheart Holiday in November 2016, and Sweetheart Café in February 2017. Sweetheart Central Park is the fifth Thomas Kinkade Studios painting, in a series of six, dedicated to this iconic couple in a collection called the Sweetheart Series. These paintings are the realization of Thomas Kinkade’s vision to create art featuring classic Disney characters within traditional Kinkade settings.
As with all Thomas Kinkade Studios artwork Sweetheart Café features an incredible amount of details and hidden touches. This image is teeming with life; from the beautiful wildflowers to the small family of ducks in the stream below. Other familiar features, such as the arched rock bridge, lampposts, and the horse drawn carriage have characteristically made their appearance in other works by Thomas Kinkade.
To describe Sweetheart Central Park, Thomas Kinkade Studios states, “As Mickey hands Minnie a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a thankful Minnie throws her arms around Mickey’s neck, thanking him for such a wonderful day in New York City. The day is coming to an end. While the sun creeps low beneath the skyline and pierces through the already changing red and orange autumn leaves, the familiar Kinkadian lamp posts begin to flicker and light-up throughout the park. But the day isn’t over yet, Mickey has one more surprise for Minnie, a horse-drawn carriage ride through Central Park. Mickey’s thoughtful planning has not only created an unforgettable day for Minnie but has also reminded us all that our kindest gestures speak louder than words”.
Sweetheart Central Park is available in both canvas and paper version and in many different sizes. Make this holiday season extra special and memorable. Come to Parsons Thomas Kinkade Studios today and let us help you pick the perfect version and size of Sweetheart Central Park for your personal collection or as a special gift for your sweetheart.

Savannah Serenade by Mark Keathley
A wonderful combination of beautiful trees, quaint cobblestone streets, welcoming parks, notable historic buildings, and majestic architecture attracts millions of visitors to the oldest city in Georgia every year. The pedestrian-friendly and innovatively-designed downtown Savannah area is one of the largest National Historic Landmark Districts in the United States; retaining the original plan of the town’s founder, James Oglethorpe.
The beloved coastal city of Savannah inspires visitors with its history, beauty, and charm. Mark Keathley captured the essence of Forsythe Park in his latest release, Savannah Serenade:
“We recently visited the coastal city of Savannah, and we fell in love with the charm, the trees, the moss, the warmth of the people, and all of the parks! Someone (Oglethorpe) really knew what he was doing back in the 1700’s when he laid out the town. Every few blocks is a block set aside for trees, and grass, and the usual glorious statue or monument. There is a laid back atmosphere where one can relax on a park bench from the stress of life, enjoy the bead of sweat on the brow (know that’s just the way it is), and then look forward to a breeze which is sure to blow through at any moment. We spent hours walking around the city soaking it all in. The sound of horse hooves, the clippity-clop on the brick streets below our room, was a delight. One spot in particular, though, you must visit. Forsythe Park, the largest park in town, has a beautiful fountain which beckons from all directions. We were drawn to it because the light from above it was not blocked by the huge oaks we were under. It seemed to glow on its own while the sprays of water made the atmosphere touchable and present. I wanted to combine the best elements from the city, the moss in the trees, the azaleas of spring, and a few of nature’s critters interacting in a peaceful song, Savannah Serenade.”
—Mark Keathley
Come to Parsons Thomas Kinkade today to see the beauty of Savannah Serenade for yourself. You will be captivated by its beauty and transported to the beautiful coastal city of Savannah. Savannah Serenade would make the perfect addition to an already existing collection, would be a wonderful piece to begin a collection, and would be the perfect gift for that someone special on your holiday gift list.

My lens has taken me from my own studio to rain forests in the Philippines, to the pits at the Daytona 500, into surgery at the Burn Center in Sherman Oaks, CA and to Miss California stage as their official photgrapher. Along the way, I’ve photographed people, pets, products, cars (even one that could fly), the great outdoors and some pretty great indoors.”

Italian Cafe by Thomas Kinkade Studios
Thomas Kinkade Studios’ newest painting, Italian Cafe, transports viewers to a quaint southern Sicilian village set on the shores of the Mediterranean. Once a fisherman’s harbor, the town now draws weekenders, beach-dwellers, and romantics. Each morning the shop keepers water down the streets and entryways to limit the dust and sand that have blown in overnight and each day the streets and piazzas become lined with stalls of fresh and local food; aubergines, fish, zucchini, tomatoes, and almonds.
On this small village street corner, a young lady pedals off after fetching a loaf of bread and an elderly painter sets up his pallet and make-shift easel under the turquoise awning of Michelangelo’s. Although Michelangelo’s coffee and pastries are known throughout the island, the cafe offers more than just sustenance for the body, it also offers a timeless encounter with Italy’s flora and fauna, a complete reprieve for the soul.
Perhaps the painter enjoys the shade of the awning as he looks to capture the sea and the sails, or perhaps he enjoys the convenience of his next refreshment.
A seat has been saved for you as well, along with a bottle of grappa and coffee, the perfect place to wile away a few hours in conversation…or silence. If ever a place could whisk away the troubles of the day, it would be here. While you are relaxing, can you find the three blue birds hidden among the scenery? While the first two can be spotted quite easily, the third has already been found by the interested cat in the center of the street…(hint: flowerpots). Another cat sits on a stuck ledge, but near her is a place where the wall has cracked and the shape is quite familiar, it is the Italian Boot.
  The Thomas Kinkade Studios
In this tradition of Master artists passing on their experiences, Thomas Kinkade loved to share his passion of art while teaching his methods to other artists and imparting to them the techniques, concepts, and vision that he was so well known and loved for. The Thomas Kinkade Studio continues in the path that Thom himself started and developed, carrying on the Kinkadian tradition to create art that will stand the test of time and be treasured for the ages.
Come to Parsons Thomas Kinkade gallery today to see the latest release from Thomas Kinkade Studios, Italian Cafe, as well as many other creations from the studio and a variety of other artists.

Two New Releases From Mark Keathley: Evening on the Coast and Spring’s Renewal
Artist Mark Keathley has a wonderful talent for blending bold strokes, amazing color, and soul stirring light. Mark uses fine details so viewers can experience the emotion of the painting, stay in that moment, and be inspired to live. His two latest releases, Evening on the Coast and Spring’s Renewal are no exception.
Evening on the Coast
In Evening on the Coast, Mark urges viewers, “Don’t be afraid – be adventurous, and explore new waters in your life.” As the setting sun passed below the horizon and stirred the evening sky to a greenish glow, he thought of pushing the simple fisherman’s boat out into the water and exploring the vast waters of the world.
“My heart was very awake to the wonder of life on this planet. Maybe you could catch a net full of fish or cruise around the rocky point to see what is farther down the shore. There is so much wonder, adventure, and even danger here at the sea. It makes me feel alive.” —Mark Keathley
Spring’s Renewal
Mark Keathley walks in his back yard every day to examine the miracle of new spring life coming forth. Small ivory budded orange blossoms, strawberries, blackberries, peaches, tangerines, and green leaves shoot out of gray woody branches. Mark marvels at the how spring shouts of God’s amazing creative ability and love of beauty.
“Today, several butterflies visited the blossoms, and I’m reminded of the bigger miracle of transformation. When I see these delicate little creatures (butterflies), I am reminded of the overall change that has come to my life since I started allowing God to do for me what He has promised. The fruit of the Spirit comes from his miraculous power. Like spring time, it is effortless on our part. We do nothing but enjoy the change, the newness, the life which comes when we look to see what only HE can do. This spring, as the new shoots and blossoms spring forth and the butterflies flit about on their two or three week journey of life, look to see what transformation and beautification He wants to do in you for your very own Spring’s Renewal.” —Mark Keathley
We invite you to come view these two new releases from Mark Keathley and shop the huge selection available to build your collection in our award winning gallery.

Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman: The Trinity I
Published by DC Comics in 2003, “Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman: Trinity” is a three issue comic book limited series focused on the first meeting and alliance between DC’s Trinity: Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Thomas Kinkade Studios is proud to present Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman: The Trinity I, our first Limited Edition Art release featuring classic DC characters, and the first piece in our DC branded art program.
In this scene, Batman has touched down on the wet pavement of a busy street while Superman and Wonder Woman are close behind. The surrounding setting is full of iconic memories from each hero’s personal history. Lois Lane is observing from the right side of the street, while Jimmy Olsen snaps a photo, and the Daily Planet headquarters rises in the background. The Trinity Theater marquee pays tribute to the legendary alliance between Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Above the theatre is a sign for Themyscira, a reference to the lush island home of Wonder Woman and her sister Amazons. Other building signs are dedicated to Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van (Kal-El’s aka Superman’s parents on Krypton), Commissioner Gordon (Batman’s chief ally), and Alfred Pennyworth and Julia Pennyworth (Batman’s butler and his daughter). Hotel Alexander alludes to Alexander “Lex” Luthor, Superman’s archenemy. The villain’s face is also present on a political sign adorning the water tower. There are also hidden references to The Penguin and The Joker, along with a cameo appearance by Two-Face.
The phone number on the “Join the Justice League” billboard refers to the comic book in which the Justice League first appeared – The Brave and the Bold #28. The 3B on the street car is Clark Kent’s apartment number, and the words “Man of Steel” are discreetly positioned behind Superman’s flowing cape. Thomas’ Bookstore is a reference to Batman’s father, Thomas Wayne, while Kinkade’s Cafè is an homage to the Painter of Light and founder of our Studio, Thomas Kinkade. Thomas Kinkade was a life-long DC Comics fan and “Kinkade’s Café” is a nod to his intense love for comic books and the artistic legacy we continue in his memory.
Other upcoming additions to the DC branded art program will feature favorite heroes and villains from the DC universe in Limited Edition and Open Edition formats. Come to the Parsons Thomas Kinkade gallery today to view the multitude of details in Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman: The Trinity I. See for yourself why this piece is the perfect addition to any art lover and/or comic lover’s collection.

Two New Releases from Thomas Kinkade Studios: Cinderella Dancing in the Starlight and The Women of DC
  Cinderella Dancing in the Starlight
Thomas Kinkade Studios has recreated the 1950 Walt Disney film Cinderella in a vividly colorful painting, Cinderella Dancing in the Starlight, the second piece of the collection entitled, Dancing in the Light. The wonderful story of love, loss, struggle, and ‘happily ever after’ is presented in a variety of blues and purples depicting a romantic, royal setting. Cinderella and Prince Charming dance the night away beneath the shadows of the weeping willow trees on the garden gazebo under the starlit sky. Gus, Jaq, Lucifer, Bruno, and the Fairy Godmother all gaze in amazement, while Lady Tremaine, the wicked step-mother, along with her viciously bitter daughters, look on with jealous intent. Hidden into the backdrop is a small bench where Cinderella once sat, sad that things may never get better. As Cinderella twirls in her magical ball gown, it sparkles from the light of the shining stars, while her glass slipper rests on the steps below. The approaching stagecoach races over the bridge as the clocktower strikes midnight, bringing the magical evening to an end…or maybe, it’s just the beginning.
The Women of DC
The Women of DC blends the Kinkade-style of warmly lit storefronts and glossy streets, with DC’s electric line up, to produce a dynamic collector’s piece. This action-packed scene showcases some of the world’s most beloved female Super Heroes and their adversaries embattled in full conflict as the city’s local police force watches helplessly. Livewire harnesses electricity, to deliver a shocking blast to Supergirl in front of a large sign that reads, “Livewire Jazz Night Club.” Wonder Woman lassos Cheetah, Batgirl packs a punch to Catwoman, Poison Ivy wraps her vines around the ankles of Huntress, and Harley Quinn attempts to lay a deadly blow to her enemy. Beyond the multiple conflicts viewers can find multiple hidden images embedded in the work that pay tribute to icons of the DC Universe. The sign for Zatanna’s Magic Wands is a reference to Zatanna Zatara, the professional stage magician who is not only a master of illusion but also found a way to use the dark arts for good. The Starfire restaurant sign behind Poison Ivy pays tribute to the princess who was forced into slavery by her sister, only to become one of the World’s Greatest Super Heroes while the theater is named after a famous former psychiatrist who worked at Arkham Asylum. Upon closer inspection, the marquee states Harley Quinn’s full name and the date of her first appearance in the DC Universe.

Follow Me by Mark Keathley
Like any great artist, Mark Keathley’s work has continually evolved, but he has always interpreted his surroundings and experiences in a truly meaningful way. His gift of blending bold strokes, with amazing color and soul stirring light draws viewers of his paintings to reflect on life’s true meaning. His special skill of inspiring people to silently listen to their inner voice “and then to rise up assured that they are a part of something bigger than their schedule” touches everyone who views his work. When asked to describe his inspiration for Follow Me, Mark tells this story:
“When I was a child, I remember my father (a church planter and preacher) saying from the pulpit that God chose sheep as an illustration of the church because of their great need for tending and care. Left to themselves, they couldn’t survive. Not only would wild animals have them for supper, they could barely eat or drink without choking themselves to death. He didn’t say this with contempt for humanity but in an awareness of what life is like in the spiritual realms. We have an enemy, and we don’t have what it takes to make it on our own. I began painting this particular image striving for design and beauty. However, when I was painting the sheep, stories came to mind, and personalities developed. In this small flock,  you can see that some are curious, some are at rest, and some are nipping at others. One sheep has her head tilted and is gritting her teeth like Saturday Night Live’s church lady –  judgmentally saying, ‘Mmmmhhhhhmmm. Well,  isn’t that special!’ Personally, I could put a name to each one of these sheep from my experiences in the church. There have been some good and some bad in the people I have met through the church over the years, but there is one who never disappoints, who sticks closer than a brother, and whose smile at me has drawn me out and into a deeper walk with Him. Jesus simply says, ‘Come to me, all who are weary and heavy laden.’ The heavy loads heaped upon us by religion make us weary and often want to give up.  Some even want to walk away altogether. Sheep are lost, hungry, or cold, and they are looking for a good shepherd. In my painting, they are walking together with all their differences, looking to the one who simply calls and says, ‘Follow Me’.  So, let’s stick together, take care of one another, and be a flock at rest and peace.” —Mark Keathley
Inspired by his childhood days spent exploring the woods near his family farm in East Texas, Mark’s artwork doesn’t simply capture an image, it inspires its observers. While Mark no longer sells his works through an online store, he works exclusively with galleries like Parsons. Stop by our gallery today to see Mark Keathley’s latest creation, Follow Me, for yourself. This gorgeous painting would make a beautiful addition to your art collection or a thoughtful gift for a loved one.

Disney 101 Dalmatians from Thomas Kinkade Studios
In 1961 Walt Disney produced his 17th animated feature film, “101 Dalmatians,” based on Dodie Smith’s 1956 novel “The Hundred and One Dalmatians”. In February 2017, Thomas Kinkade Studios created a stunning new addition to the Disney Dreams Collection, Disney 101 Dalmatians. The Thomas Kinkade Disney Dreams Collection features the most beloved characters and Disney favorites.
Songwriter Roger Radcliffe swings his wife, Anita, as their dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, snuggle together at their feet. Both couples are surrounded by Pongo and Perdita’s litter of 15 puppies plus 84 additional adopted puppies, making a whopping total of 101 dalmatians! Various dogs, a horse, and Sergeant Tibbs, a tabby cat, have helped rescue the puppies from the villainous Cruella De Vil due in part to the hard work of the canine gossip line, the “Twilight bark”. On Christmas day, the dogs have all crossed the Stour River and found their way back to Robert and Anita’s flat. Happy to all be reunited, Roger and Anita decide to use the money from Roger’s first big hit, a song about Cruella, to build a new home for themselves and all of their four-legged friends.
Roger and Anita’s romantic spark holds a viewer’s gaze when they first set eyes on Disney 101 Dalmatians, and fans of the movie will recognize that the painting is set in the very park where Roger and Anita first make each other’s acquaintance. The painting features England’s capitol city in 1961, the majestic city of London, with various famous landmarks such as the River Thames, Westminster Bridge, Big Ben, and Houses of Parliament, with Victoria Tower. Anita’s wealthy schoolmate, Cruella De Vil, looks on the scene from beside a tree alongside her henchmen, Jasper and Horace, while her car is parked in front of a row of Edwardian era houses. Together, the evil trio gaze menacingly at the happy human couple and all of their frolicking canines. Although the puppies have been rescued from her grasp, Cruella De Vil appears to still be scheming how to steal them and use their fur for coats.
Disney 101 Dalmatians is available in your choice of size, editions, and several beautiful frames. Thomas Kinkade Limited Edition Canvases combine old world craftsmanship with the finest materials and latest production technologies (such as long-life pigment inks that outperform conventional press inks) to produce extraordinary canvas artwork. Each canvas is made in the USA, hand stretched on hardwood, and hand highlighted with fine acrylic paints by skilled artisans. An edition number is applied to each Canvas Limited Edition and each piece comes with a matching individually numbered Certificate Authenticity and engraved brass nameplate.

Beauty and the Beast, Dancing in the Moonlight by the Thomas Kinkade Studios
In 1991, Walt Disney Pictures released their third Renaissance Period film, Beauty and Beast. Now Disney’s cherished portrayal of true love has been captured with its entire cast in a narrative panorama by Thomas Kinkade Studios in Beauty and the Beast Dancing in the Moonlight. Created in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of Disney’s Beauty and Beast film, this highly collectible Limited Edition Art is the third Beauty and the Beast image in the Disney Dreams Collection and the first to be set under the dreamy moonlit sky. This special painting celebrates the beauty of true love and incorporates favorite characters, bringing them to life on canvas.
Set in the garden veranda of the Beast’s castle, overlooking a late 1800s French village, a viewer will see dozens of spectacular details and all of their favorite characters in Beauty and the Beast Dancing in the Moonlight. Beast lovingly looms over Belle in her iconic beautiful yellow ball gown while the lovable Footstool playfully dances at their feet. Mrs. Potts speaks gently to little Chip, Wardrobe peeks from behind the rose-covered column, and Lumiere lights the way for Belle’s father, Maurice, and Cogsworth. In the top left hand corner of the artwork, you can barely see the Enchantress as she looks upon the last single rose petal, willing it to fall and force the Prince to remain a beast forever. Trouble is on the way in the bottom right of the painting, with Gaston riding his black horse and carrying the Enchanted Mirror as he leads the angry villagers up the terrace.
Thomas Kinkade Limited Edition Canvases combine old world craftsmanship with the finest materials and latest production technologies (such as long-life pigment inks that outperform conventional press inks) to produce extraordinary canvas artwork. Hundreds of thousands of tourists visit Venice’s St Mark’s Basilica, Grand Canal, the Piazza San Marco, and the Lido di Venezia every year.
Venetian Art
Venice became one of the most important art centers in Europe during the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the Baroque periods, developing a unique style known as the Venetian School. In the 16th century, Venetian painting was developed through influences from the Paduan School and Antonello da Messina, who introduced an oil painting technique that used a warm, picturesque use of color.
Venice, Ageless Beauty
Just as Venetian artists have captured the beauty of their city for centuries, Robert Finale has been inspired by the beauty of Venice and created Venice, Ageless Beauty. He describes his experience and inspiration for his latest painting:  “Gliding down the canal on an elegant gondola, we gaze at the ancient buildings towering over us. We notice that inside each window, there is a story waiting to be told. Across the way, we find a café, bustling with locals and excited tourists going about their day. In the background, lighting up the Grand Canal, is the breathtaking Santa Maria Della Salute. This inspiring beauty surrounding me transforms into an image that I must bring to life. As these thoughts gather and the setting sun brings the day to a close, my wife and I decide to join the locals for a bite to eat and a glass of wine across the way from one of Venice’s many jewel’s.” ~Robert Finale
About the Artist
Robert Finale uses his photographs, sketches, and memories of his travels as the starting points for each of his masterpieces. Finale’s distinctive style is a colorful blend of impressionistic romance and realistic beauty featuring a complex interplay of light and its effects on architecture and surroundings.

The Kinkade Family Foundation Touches Lives Through Art
One of the most collected American artist of our time, Thomas Kinkade, is known for his idyllic landscapes, pastoral images, and light-filled cottages. Kinkade has brought peace and joy to people all over the world through the images he created and his selfless charity. Wanting his art to be accessible to people, he strove to reach a wider audience by creating lithographs and licensed products to deliver his positive, uplifting message to the world. He also partnered with various nonprofit organizations over the years, and his philanthropic work raised millions of dollars and benefited hundreds of thousands of people in need. For example:
In 1999, after visiting Guatemala with his family, Kinkade painted open edition prints of Bridge of Faith. Sales of this painting raised funds to support 85,000 children and to build a daycare and medical center in Guatemala.
In 2001, The Thomas Kinkade Company donated proceeds from The Light of Freedom and The Season of Giving, which Kinkade painted after the tragedy of 9/11, to the Salvation Army’s Ground Zero Relief Fund, raising $2 million.
In 2003 and 2004, as the national spokesman for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the sales of Kinkade’s art raised more than $750,000 for children with life-threatening illnesses.
In 2005, Kinkade was appointed an Ambassador of Light for the Points of Light Foundation. Over the next two years, Kinkade’s art sales raised $1 million for the Points of Light Foundation including $600,000 for families who had lost their homes and loved ones in Hurricane Katrina.
Shortly after Kinkade’s passing in 2012, his wife Nanette, and their four daughters; Merritt, Chandler, Winsor, and Everett, founded The Kinkade Family Foundation to support the creative arts and advance Kinkade’s humanitarian efforts. Through the foundation, the five Kinkade women honor their husband and father’s memory “by touching lives with his art, helping those in need, and supporting creativity for all.” Striving to help level the learning field across socio-economic boundaries, the foundation partners with nonprofits in the U.S. and abroad to bring art education to children through hands-on art camps, exhibitions, discovery programs, and more.
The Kinkade Family Foundation is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to sharing Thomas Kinkade’s art, supporting the arts and creative process, and pursuing humanitarian works in the global community. To read about the art camps and programs provided by the foundation and for information on how to donate, visit kinkadefamilyfoundation.org.

Gift a Painting This Valentine’s Day
The thought of giving artwork as a gift may seem scary, but the personal gesture is worth the effort. Have you seen a painting, and immediately thought of someone who would probably love it? Whether you are looking to start a collection for a special someone or add to their collection, a painting can be a wonderful gift for any occasion.
Stay Small Large scale paintings can be a bit overwhelming. Smaller paintings can make a big impact and allow more flexibility when it comes to display options. Even apartment dwellers or people with limited wall space, have a mantel, shelf, or bedside table perfectly suited for a small piece of fine art.
Buy for Their Interests and Tastes, Not Yours Consider the recipient’s interests, favorite colors, personal style, and style of furniture they have in their home. For example, do they like sleek, minimal surroundings or do they prefer more eclectic and vibrant decor? Don’t worry about being too particular, just because the recipient likes dogs, doesn’t mean you have to buy a painting of dogs! Any artworks they have commented on in your home can also give you an idea of what they might like.
Don’t Second Guess Your Decision Gallery owners see shoppers come back around to their first choice nine times out of ten. Look around, but when it is time to make your final decision, be brave and go with your instinct.
A Painting is a Timeless Treasure Few gifts are more memorable than fine art. By gifting paintings, you are gifting a long lasting treasure that evokes emotion, improves ambience, and increases the recipients’ quality of life. When they gaze upon their painting they will always be reminded of you and the special bond you share. Plus, paintings are virtually maintenance-free. They may need to occasionally wipe dust off from the surface, but beyond that, they simply exist to be enjoyed.
Our award winning gallery has been family owned for 140 years and we carry artists such as Thomas Kinkade, Mark Keathley, Abraham Hunter, Robert Finale, and Zak Kinkade as well as many others. For Valentine’s Day this year, think beyond the flowers and the chocolates and give a gift that will bring joy for years to come. Visit us at Parsons Thomas Kinkade gallery today and our skilled staff will help you shop for the perfect painting to warm that special someone’s heart this Valentine’s Day.

Thomas Kinkade Studios Releases Fourth Painting in Mickey and Minnie Mouse Series:  Sweetheart Café
In honor of Valentine’s Day, Thomas Kinkade Studios is proud to present a romantic, new artwork from their Mickey and Minnie Mouse collection called Sweetheart Café. As a life-long admirer of Walt Disney and the wonderful characters he created, Thomas Kinkade enjoyed re-creating many of his favorite Disney stories on canvas. The initial Thomas Kinkade Studios image dedicated to the iconic Disney duo, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, was Sweetheart Cove which was released in May 2016, with Sweetheart Bridge following in August 2016, and Sweetheart Holiday releasing in November 2016. Together with Sweetheart Café, the four paintings in the Mickie and Minnie Mouse collection pay homage to Thomas Kinkade’s vision of creating art featuring classic Disney characters set within traditional Kinkade settings.
As with all Thomas Kinkade Studios artwork Sweetheart Café features an incredible amount of details and hidden touches. In this piece a small sign hanging next to the Café shows silhouettes of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse and on the far left side of the painting a heart-shaped sign that says “Sweetie 1929” is a tribute to “Mickey’s Follies,” 1929 short in which Mickey first referred to Minnie as his girlfriend when he sings, “got a sweetie…she’s my little Minnie Mouse”. The Chocolatier is called “Clarabelle’s,” named after Mickey and Minnie’s friend, Clarabelle Cow. The windows give peeks at romance with a beautiful wedding cake sitting in the window of the bakery and Donald and Daisy Duck kissing. An iconic Thomas Kinkade Dogwood tree and a small sign etched into the brickwork with the initials “TK” engraved on it are dedicated to Thomas Kinkade, the Studios’ founding artist, who embraced love and celebrated it in many of his paintings with hidden tributes to his wife and four daughters.
To describe Sweetheart Café, Thomas Kinkade Studios states, “In this gorgeous Spring setting, Mickey Mouse presents Minnie Mouse with tokens of his affection – flowers, chocolates and a heart-shaped balloon.  Romance is in the air as the pair enjoy an afternoon at their favorite sidewalk café. Dogwoods are in bloom, colorful flower boxes line the cobblestone lane, and love birds perch peacefully above the pair. Minnie Mouse glows with joy – deeply touched by Mickey Mouse’s gifts. Sweetheart Café reminds us how beautiful love is and how thoughtful gestures can mean so much.”
Sweetheart Café is available in both canvas and paper version and in many different sizes. Make this Valentine’s Day extra special and memorable. Come to Parsons Thomas Kinkade Studios today and let us help you pick the perfect version and size of Sweetheart Café for your sweetheart.

Winter Wonderland by Abraham Hunter
Self-taught artist, Abraham Hunter, studies nature and uses reference photos to help him capture the beauty and joy of God’s creation in his paintings. His latest release, Winter Wonderland, features a house aglow, spilling its light onto the snow-covered bushes, trees, and front walkway. A simple Christmas wreath and red cardinal are the only splashes of bright color in the pristine setting. It is easy to smile imagining the warm, inviting interior of the home after standing in the crisp, white snow.
Abraham works in oil, acrylic and occasionally watercolor and is known for his extreme photorealism and incorporation of intricate details. He believes “it’s those details that pay proper tribute to the bountiful beauty and complexity of our natural world.” Winter Wonderland is a perfect example of what Abraham describes as one of his “utopia scenes…that give us a chance to stop the hectic, busy lifestyle that we get caught up in and just sit down and soak in the many blessings God has given us.”
Abraham further describes Winter Wonderland: “This winter inspired painting is based off of a little study I painted last year. I paint a lot of little paintings as new ideas enter my head, and sometimes the little idea turns out pretty close to perfect. When it does, like with this one, I paint it larger to be published so it can be enjoyed by more people! Titled “Winter Wonderland,” I think this is my best Christmas painting yet! If you look closely, you can see two bunnies in the bottom right and two cardinals in the upper left. They are enjoying their little walk in a winter wonderland. I hope this inspires you to take some time to appreciate the wonderland God has created in your own backyard.” –Abraham Hunter
Abraham says that he wakes each morning and counts his many blessings for the tremendous opportunity to be able to do what he does and to bring joy to all of his wonderful collectors. He attributes his success to his family and friends, and to God for giving him the talent and strength to do what he does so well.
Christmas is the most wonderful time of year. By adding Winter Wonderland to your home you can enjoy the spirit of Christmas year round. This beautiful work of art would be a wonderful starter piece to begin a new collection or a great addition to an already established collection. Come to our gallery today and see for yourself why Winter Wonderland is a perfect Christmas gift for that someone special on your list or for yourself!
