A LOVE LETTER TO IMPERFECTION
"I fell in love with the way your cracks let the light in."
In a world of perfectly written characters,
you were the only flawed one—
like how your smile tilted just slightly left,
or your words tumbled out too fast,
or the way you sulked like a storm cloud,
brief but brimming with thunder.
In a world obsessed with flawless endings,
you were the dog-eared page,
the sentence left unfinished.
You helped others without keeping score,
loved quietly, never asking for proof
that you, too, deserved love in return.
And so—
in this glossy, edited universe,
I fell for you.
Not broken, but aching.
Not imperfect, just unfinished.
Your only flaw?
You never saw your own light.

Art is very similar to sex: If it only satisfies the creator it's pure masturbation.
