Happy Valentines Days. Lemme casually dump these here and then disappear for 4 months. I have begun refining how to draw them, and also decided that Ratchet is just a small gremlin cat who was made too small

Patches likes stargazing, Ratchet also likes stargazing.

Ratchet's pupils always dilate or contract depending on what's going on or what she's feeling, like an actual cat. It just happens that they always dilate when she's looking at Patches.

Another fun fact about Ratchet. Due to sometimes being aggressive with guests, the staff decided to have her declawed so they wouldn't get a lawsuit if her claws happened to hurt a kid really badly.

She doesn't like other toons touching her hands or feet for this reason, unless said toon happens to be Shelly or Patches. Both know what not to do so she trusts them enough, due to how they healed she has small aching pains sometimes (Why her speed and stamina is so low). Despite this fact, she is still able to somehow catch small animals that sneak into the facility. Ratchet brings these little catches to Patches, thinking that she is impressing her.

She isn't. I'll probably draw Patches comforting Ratchet during the small moments where she is in pain later on. Patches has a bit of weight to her, being based off those weighted stuff animals. So usually they'll cuddle up together, which they insist is only in a friendly manner.

I got a bit lazy while drawing the picture of Ratchet hanging out with Shelly. I made Ratchet's relationship chart after Patches' which is why it looks better. Some little fun facts on the Goobers though!

Ratchet

Ratchet and Scraps had one interaction, no one knows what was said or what happened but the two refuse to interact without a third party there.

Ratchet used to tolerate Finn, until he accidentally spilled water on her. She refuses to be around him since then

Ratchet and Shelly are close friends somehow, mainly because Ratchet actually enjoys listening to Shelly's dino rambles. That and her area in the facility is warmer than the other areas.

Ratchet has not taken the time to remember Shrimpo's name for some odd reason, always being the one to ask "who??" when he's brought up. She forgets every time.

Ratchet is also not allowed to be left alone in a room with Vee, especially not after she somehow knocked Vee's head off her body. It was a very pricy repair that Vee has not gotten over

Ratchet is not allowed in the kitchen because she knocks stuff off counters, to Sprout and Cosmo's utter annoyance.

Patches

Patches is VERY clumsy, often accidentally knocking stuff over with her tail and bumping into things. Tisha always knows it's her and finds her hiding behind shelves or boxes after breaking or knocking stuff over

Patches is part of the book club and if Ratchet isn't there with her, she's speaking with Dazzle or Flutter.

The one time Pebble and Patches interacted, the rock played a bit too rough and tore Patches' ear off on accident. Luckily Brightney had a bit of spare fabric to repair it. Though it was the wrong color.

Patches slightly envies Vee for how confident in herself she is. Regardless of this fact, the two can still have regular conversation

Patches is an essential distractor on ichor runs where Vee or Shrimpo are. Mainly because they're able to extract without worry like they usually do. Though because Vee goes on runs often, Patches is often dragged along much to her dismay

Ratchet has tried to hint how she feels with Patches, but it often flies over Patches' head.. kind of goes something like what's typed below

"Would you maybe like to go hang out? We could ask Sprout and Cosmo if they could cook something nice. I think you would look nice in candle light."

"S-Sure! That sounds nice.. thinking about it, I'm sure Flutter and Dazzle would like to come along!"

"..Yea. I'm sure they would."

also I Kinda feel like Shelly would change out of the skirt she wears while digging for fossils. Doin that kind of stuff in a skirt seems a bit uncomfortable, so I just gave her regular overalls instead

The goobers' Trinkets! I wasn't too creative when thinking of these tbh. Main idea was it would benefit their worst stat which for Patches' is her stealth, and for Ratchet her stamina.

Obviously Patches would have something to aid with her anxiety and Ratchet had to have a mouse. Patches most definitely made it for her

I’m debating on opening asks for the goobers, but I dunno. I don’t post too much cause I get side tracked a lot :p

I feel like if I did I wouldn’t get side tracked as often because I have a clue on what I wanna do, so maybe in the future??

Edit: nevermind, just read the news that people are sending gore to ask blogs. I know I may never get sent these, but I am not takin that risk.

Ratchet cares more than she likes to show. Patches is probably gonna have nightmares for a good while..

She should be fine after she gets sewn back together..

Ratchet and a small doodle of the two interacting.

Unlike Patches, Ratchet is more outgoing and confident, though she often comes off as narcissistic. The cat toon will often march about with a high head while dragging the wallaby around behind her. Ratchet’s words are often straight to the point and honest (which other toons often take offense too) however Ratchet continues speaking whatever enters her mind first without filter. She often tends to have no issue in using harsh words to get her point across.

Both Patches and Ratchet balance off one another with Ratchet coaxing the wallaby out of her shell, and Patches reminding Ratchet to think before she says something she’ll end up regretting.

Also, paw beans! I like to believe Ratchet’s are softer and more cushioned so her steps are softer while Patches’ are rougher and made for running, not stealth, which is why her hops are loud. Sorry for not posting, school has been shoving me in a blender as of recently.

I got dragged into the Dandy’s world fandom by my feet, and I kinda wanted to make my own little Goober. So meet Patches the Wallaby Plush toon!

Patches is a socially anxious and emotional toon who can be bit of a downer in some situations. However her friend Ratchet (will be drawn soon) always manages to convince the wallaby to join in social events.

When she isn’t with Ratchet, the wallaby is most commonly in a secluded corner in the library or hiding in less populated area of the facility. But she’s never able to hide the loud thumps as she hops about. I haven’t drawn her trinket yet, but I have the idea that it would be a stress toy of sorts and would boost either stealth or skill check.
