okay the weekends over and my t/umor isn’t giving me as much trouble rn so i cracked out a few posts (def not all of them but i have a headache like mad) and also i reserved a new character so i need 2 make her blog sometime this week!

Kaede had come to such a lovely place on a whim– at first, no one had been around the piano, and there was no audience within the theatre’s seats. So, she thought perhaps it would be fine if she played a few songs where no one was around to hear her.

Of course, that was a plan doomed to fail. It did not take long for several people to show up, and Kaede had not even noticed them until she’d stopped playing. Upon looking up to applause, she blushed. Some part of her, a part she would not acknowledge in the moment, probably expected this.

“Oh, thank you…”

“It really wasn’t anything special, though…”

Alecto wasn’t typically the first person to go out of their way to talk to a moral of all creatures. However it being the first time she’s heard music in, quite literally years she felt the need to speak up about it. 

“ If you insist, i wont argue. “ she cracked a sharp smile at the girl, “but i don’t get to hear music too often seeing as i was banned from the place with the only court musician, my statement stands. ” 

Her brief explanation as to why she hasn’t heard music in a long time must be a shock to the girl either way. It wasn’t very often a shade came her way with musical talent, well unless they’re a screamer because that is truly the music of the gods really. 

“Have you been playing, whatever that thing is, long?” emphasis on the fact she’s never actually seen a piano before.

 “Humanity!” he shouts, finding the right door and waltzing right in. After all no doors were a obstacle for Lord Shaxx, because the great traveller created ghosts…to open doors. In any case he looks out of place, still being in full armour, but Lord Shaxx cares for little when in the presence of strangers. Perhaps ocne they are better friends, should he remove his masks. Not much of a home when there are strangers about. 

 “Only human souls or perhaps do you also punish aliens? Ah look! Our fridge is full of food!” the biting fridge is cold and operational, the food is ready to be eaten and cooked all at once. He closes the haven of food stuff. 

 “I spy four rooms! Meaning we have two more 2 more people here!”  He opens each one, though one seems to be full, and closes that one. “Do you prefer the big or smaller rooms? I myself would prefer a big one, but as a gentleman , you can pick first!” 

It seemed that during their small walk he had already stumbled upon the fated door. Alecto tucked her enormous wing behind her and followed him inside, it was god awful. At the brief question of her work she perked up only slightly. 

“As far as I'm aware, just human souls. the ferryman brings them, hades gives judgement and the fury's punish the worst..” peeking over this large metal shoulders she inspected the fridge behind him.

“food you say?” at least the people keeping them here were kind enough to give them food and a home to live in. not that it mattered, this was starting to feel like just a free vacation away from Tartarus and her awful sisters. A chance to leave work behind and cause a little chaos perhaps. 

“four ? just awful.” not that she had hoped for them to be alone, but even she knew four could be a crowd. “Ideally i’d like the large room,” extending her wing slightly in the hallways of the rooms was a bit difficult. “theres literally no room to stretch out in here.”

Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating, we're doing something small with our household but we're informed by AT&T that because it's windy and we're high risk for fires they might shut off our power, last time they did that it was off from 12pm to 5pm and that's really gonna bung all dinner plans if that's the case!

Paper breaks far too easily and unless you lack patience, so will that phone of yours.” being a man of modern taste despite his armoured appearance, Lord Shaxx is none the wiser about the events about to unfold in front of him. “Oh what fun! So you are my dormmate!” the whole place looks fit for a civilian…though he usppose without the traveler and his little light so weak, that would make him a civilian. 

 “I am Lord Shaxx, a guardian of humanity! Or perhaps was …no I still am. Despite the difficulty now.” he’s walking, checking each door. Checking for escape routes, for ways to go back down. 

Squinting her eyes at his reply, she let out an audible tsk. To think one would lack the respect for the ways of the underworld like this, in front of her, so visibly.

Oh, but what luck, if you could call it that. It really was only a minor plus side that he would be able to show her the way there, but the idea of roommates was enough to make her cringe. The man announced himself as Lord Shaxx, was this a genuine title of nobility or perhaps granted with the title of guardian of humanity. 

“First of all, gross, humanity?” she followed behind him as he checked each door looking for theirs. 

“Second, I am Alecto, the best of the Erinyes and its our job to punish the souls of mortals.” While she didnt like being lumped together with the other two it was their official titles as the fury sisters. It was also much easier to explain to someone who likely has never heard of her.

Alecto scrunched up her nose, clearly displeased at what she was seeing. This Archimedes Ward, somehow reminiscent of Greece was definitely made for those who glimmer in the white light of olympus. While the river styx is impersonated by a meager pool. Tacky if you asked her. While her physical appearance kept most of the mortals at bay, one must admit her outfit was top tier among the locals. 

Wandering till she found the location of interest, she stopped before the theater of Calliope. The view from the stands was vast, almost impressive. Alecto however came here with the possibility of seeing a fight, alas there was instead a tiny woman playing on an instrument she had never seen before. Without realizing it she found herself taking a seat to watch the ending. Of course music wasn’t foreign to her, but it wasn’t often she would get to hear it while in tartarus. When the piece finished she approached the tiny one with a sharp smile. 

“I came here to see a fight, but gods i haven’t heard music like that in a long time ! Bravo, tiny one.”

ive been playing a lot of g*nshin since i found out i could move my mobile save to pc... but i’ll just update yall rq

eDIT: I JUST FOUND ALL OF ALECTOS DIALOGUE AND NOW I DONT HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY BF TO FIGHT HER MAYBE ONCE EVERY 6 RUNS 

anyway this is just a heads up since the holidays are coming up so i’ll likely be gone thursday - monday, and i might even be a lil inactive tomorrow but hopfully not. also this could extend longer as i’m getting closer to my time of the month and i have a very painful tumor that sitting in the walls of my u/terus and i basically end up bedridden ! hopefully not though. send good vibes pls ;;;

 “Oh, no. The city might look peaceful, but it surely is. It’s much different.” so used to fights and such, and well, handling the crucible that he had to actually lower his voice….for now. Elevators echo sound despite the material since it looks like this city wasn’t blessed by the traveler technology. Which might be a good thing, like the golden era of his time, this city is wonderful as much as its utterly soft. 

though the other looks like a awoken human, the teeth were a indiciator that she was something else, much like the folded up wings by her back. At the very least she is polite about keeping it in. 

 “What floor are you in.” a stupidly large finger close to the button. This place, its too soft for him. Having centuries lived in a state of action. 

“oh good, i was starting to think there weren't nearly enough spike traps around here!” 

to think, how fun it cold possibly be if the floor of this elevator were to open up at its peak only to reveal a spiky death at the bottom. Alecto made a mental note to think of something to improve her chambers back in tartarus. When the metal man spoke again she snapped her head to look at him before rustling around in the top of her chiton to produce the electric brick she was given. The message on the screen displayed her apartment number. 

“I’m going to apartment 320, i think. also what in the underworld happened to good old fashioned parchment and ink?”

Aggressively, she tapped the phone screen which resulted in a load of applications loading. Not that it mattered but it felt hilarious that Hermes might have a fit. Something like this wouldn’t cause her to totally loose her cool, so before it happened she put it away and turned her attention to him with an eerie smile.

The first time she had stepped out of the underworld and Alectos found herself in quite the predicament. So used to the twists and turns, the comfort of her spike traps. The golden ward was like nothing she had ever seen before. Mortals, everywhere. Walking alongside her? frankly it was disgusting. When she had discovered her powers stripped from her by this worlds creators, it was rough not flying into an immediate rage. Well actually she couldn't, it was better to save her rage on someone deemed fit to be punished.

It wasnt long before she made it to her "housing" whatever the hell and apartment building was anyway. Alecto found herself missing the smell of tartarus, if only for a fleeting moment as someone stepped onto what she was informed was an elevator.He seemed to be mostly made of metal, she raised an eyebrow at them while her hand went instinctively to the weapon at her side. Which then she realized was just a children toy, and hardly a weapon of destruction. Alecto allows herself to relax, as the rules of this world were now very different.

"you appear as if you were made for this world. I find that quite fascinating! Going up?"

she speaks to him bluntly while following him onto the contraption, allowing herself to crack a sharp toothed smile. Not that she looked like she belonged up here with the stinky mortals and their heaps of sins.

"Do you like your burger with or without vegetables."

"Do I look like I know what a burger is? Vegetables? I know red meat reminds me of.. Well you know!" 

Alecto was very clearly referring to dead mortals by slicing her fingers across her throat as demonstration. She did not specify that red meat was indeed to her liking, however burgers are something she's never had before as they just don't exist in the underworld.

uhh okay, so i totally told myself id spend most of the day popping balloons in acnh for fall diys and i plan to do exactly that. i will move to mobile, but please like this post if you are interested in plotting with alecto, building relationships ect. there is no cap but if i don’t get to you asap it might take me a bit ! 

she aint all bad ! but have you ever been hit with the handle of a jump rope ? >:3c
