Does a sleep deprived Ingo ever manage to wax Emmet? XD on that note, what's Emmets reaction to seeing Akari waxed?
Tumblr media
No, Ingo always gets a rather sudden wake up call when he tries to wax Emmet.
Tumblr media
He found it so funny.

so, what happens when a water type using aspect person looses a limb? Do they create one using water?
Hmmm as cool as that is I don't think any pokemon move would work like that? Eeehh people are pretty creative so I'm sure someone has gotten it to work but maybe more on a temporary basis since moves can be pretty draining. That would be cool though.

What does Emmet think of Akari?
Tumblr media
After the whole uncertainty about what'll happen with Ingo now that she's here, how co-parenting will work, where she's staying. He thinks she's absolutely delightful! She is his all time favorite niece! She's a strong trainer, polite, chaotic. He likes her a lot.
Tumblr media
Besides, seeing how much Akari and Ingo help one another, well, how could he possibly have issue with that?

Sorry if this is a little rude but how did you come up with the differing cultures of Pearl Clan and Diamond clan? Like the clothings and the dwellings? I know a lot of people base them of the Ainu people in Hokkaido but I've noticed they didn't differentiate between the clans besides Pearl clan having cold weather clothing and Diamond clan having hot weather clothing.
With you, I've noticed (and I apologize if I get these mixed up or describe them wrong) that the Pearl clan cloths have these wavy smooth patterns like clouds while the Diamond clan has these geometric patterns. You also differentiated their buildings though I can't find the post you made about their homes.
I just wanted to ask this because I am trying to worldbuild about the cultures of Hisui for some fanfics I may or may not write. And yes, oe of them is Ingo learning the Pearl Clan culture. I don't know a lot of other people who've done indepth Hisui culture worldbuilding and those that I do know don't have anon asks on.
Thank you for reading this ask and I apologize for this being awkward and/or rude.
Oohh you have given me an excuse to ramble about the things that took over my brain and wouldn't leave me alone so don't apologize!
Ok so while I have also based the clans off the Ainu people of Hokkaido I like looking at the canon of the game itself, where the clans are living, their beliefs. How all those would change depending on those factors. Then I start asking questions, what would be the same, and what would be different between them? I also look at the things I don't like and would want to change from the canon and figure out how that fits and how that would change things in relation to everything else.
Because functionally there would be differences! The places they live, the way cultures are shaped by location and beliefs. This can alter things within the clans from something as massive and easy to notice like the beliefs in a god of time vs a god of space all the way down to the very music and foods they make.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For instance a difference I utilize being what resources the different clans would reasonably have easier access to and what that could mean. The Diamond clan for example have more traditional Ainu homes, the chise. This is because they live in the marshes where plants have an easy time to grow, they use wood, and thick woven reed mats for their homes.
Where as the pearl clan have yurts. The Icelands are perpetually frozen, plants struggle to grow and the ground itself is frozen. What the Pearl clan have access to is hides, leather and fur from pokemon that they hunt. The Yurts are also semi permanent allowing the clans people to pack up and move because of just how dangerous the Alabaster Icelands are.
Which leads well into another difference. Diet. The Diamond clan has much easier access to plants, they can farm, they have more they can forage. More spices and herbs along with edible plants. So they have a more mixed diet of plants and meats. The Pearl clan can't farm. (Noted as a quest in game to find something that would grow in the Icelands) So they would reasonably rely more heavily on what they can hunt for food. These are the things I like to really dig deep into because while they seem simple they do change a lot more than you'd first think.
For the same reason clothing is also different due to the materials avalable to them. The clothing is something I disliked thus made the decision to go about changing from canon and had to fit in with the rest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Comparing the average clothing of the people of Jubilife Village to the two clans it's incredibly odd that the clans people all have the same clothing where as the villagers vary way more. (yes there are a lot of duplicates in the village but it's still way more variety than the clans.) There are ways to show someone is from one of the clans without them functionally being in a uniform.
Tumblr media
This for instance. You were correct on the way I have the patterns for the clan clothing differs. Pearl clan have rounded swirling patterns while the diamond clan have geometric patterns. fits with the whole round pearl and sharp diamond thing. Beyond that I also don't limit the clans to rely on only blue and pink clothing. A way to show the differences between the clans could have been style along with pastel colors (Pearl) and dark colors (Diamond)
The only ones in the clan that have to wear pink and blue are the leaders and the wardens. it's a show of their position.
Tumblr media
They hold incredibly important rolls within their clan thus their clothing must also represent that well. (I also have the wardens clothing have designs that show to which noble they are bonded with.
Another little difference is the patterns themselves. The pearl clan fills the space of their clothing with more patterns when the individual reaches certain milestones in their lives. The more patterns the more milestones. Such as surviving to have their true name, growing into adult hood, Marriage, becoming a parent, becoming a grandparent (becoming a warden. Filling space with accomplishments that the others around them find notable. Often elders are the ones with no blank places to fill on their clothing. Calaba and Ingo for instance (there is so much assumptions with Ingo happening)
Diamond clan is different in that they add more patterns according to the amount of time that an individual has gone through. Milestones in age. Reaching 5, reaching 12, getting to 20 ect. They fill up their clothing over the course of years and it just gets more and more detailed the longer they live.
Long story short I look at all these little things what would they have, why would they have it, does this mean something, could it mean something, what do I want to change, what do I want to keep the same?
Then I start to answer them.

If Ingo was in the past for like 20 years and didn't age a day, then he probably won't start aging once he's back to current-time Nimbasa. When do people start to notice? Is that what finally convinces his family that he really was gone for as long as he insists?
Honetly they wouldn't notice for a good long while. As much as he hasn't aged he still looks like he has, stress does that. And Hisui was not a gentle place. When they do it's not as big a surprise as you'd imagine, especially since everything in his chest was replaced with soul fire. In a way he's far more dead than alive. If it weren't for the distortion closing on top of him and fusing him with chandelure for a moment, then ripping him away to Hisui he would be a full chandelure.
As for what convinces his family finding out for him it was way longer than 2 years is him remanissing with Akari while they're present. He mentions something about an event but then mentioning that having been like 3 years before her arrival in Hisui. Then to find out a wishy washy estimate of somewhere between 23 and 30 years (he lost track of time in the beginning so bad it was 26 years) not so great.

After seeing that picture of Ingo carrying young Melli, it seems like Ingo unintentionally made it his goal to become an honorary uncle to every young person in Hisui. A kid/teen needs help or just a friend? Ingo is right there!
But if that's true, it's got me thinking. How does everyone react when he's finally able to leave Hisui and return to modern Unova?
Oh yes, he's just very helpful and it happens that kids are a bit more trusting and braver than the adults so they warm up to him faster. Helps that he has a soft spot for small things, granted he does not know how to deal with children and absolutly figures that they can't be That different from dealing with pokemon. The treats he's always happy to share helps too.
Thing about him leaving is just like it wasn't his choice to wind up in Hisui, it's also not his choice to leave. Whisked away in one of the last few distortiortions and the mechanizations of Arceus that spat him back out in the present day, only two years after he vanished at that despite that he had lived in hisui for 26.
They missed him dearly and grieve because they were very attached to the 'old ghost' but in a way they believe that he finally was able to pass on. A burrial ceremony was held for him when he couldn't be found despite searching.

Okay! What if Irida taught Akari how to fight with a sword?
That! Akari would love and she absolutly has begged to be taught but everyone in the clans is in an agreement that she would be a menace with a blade and they are not prepared to be able to handle that.

Does Kamado ever realize how badly he fucked up with the clans-? And if he does, how does he react to that?
Yea, pretty much when he's blade to blade with a furious Irida does he realize he fucked up and at that point it's too late and all he can hope is that they are feeling merciful.

So, question. How does Akari take living back in the present?
Eeehhh not great but not awful. It was always her goal to get back home but things are different. She was in Hisui for two years, and two years did pass in the present. She's older but so is everyone else. But despite that she feels out of place, like she's 10 steps behind, out of sync with the present.
It's a struggle to not be on edge watching out for danger. It's a struggle to come to terms with the fact she doesn't need to earn her keep. And she's strong, much stronger than before, and in many aspects much stronger than the friends she had.
That's not even geting into the ptsd that she has that she is very much in denile about, and no one around really understands just what it was like or know how to deal with the changes that she went through. They try but it doesn't always help.
It's a very isolating thing.

Okay I know you said Paulina and Lain weren't affected by the Frenzy....but what would if they were affected by it?
Ooh so good question, also Palina was affected by it but we'll get into it later.
Lian would have been a decent bit easier to handle him having Kleavor aspects would have been new, and while talented that does not change that he wouldn't have the experience nor built upon strength to hold up to the power of the other wardens. Not to say it would be easy but unlike the others he'd actually be able to be contained in one area.
Palina on the other hand, she does become frenzied at the same time the New lord Arcanine did. In that case Iscan was forced to face her to keep her busy while Akari took on Acanine. She wasn't frenzied for long but the exhaustion from months of dealing with the others frenzy combined with a nasty battle left her quite drained and wounded.

A big part of Ford's characterization that is very important to me is that, no matter what and no matter what time period we're talking about, if Stan was ever in any serious danger and Ford found out about it, he would do anything to help. Yes, even at his angriest and even when he was saying and thinking the meanest stuff about his brother. Because in all the instances of Stan being in danger and Ford knowing about it that we see (like the dream from j3 and the comic about comic books), helping his brother is not even something that Ford contemplates or thinks about at all. Add to that the way his first reason not to ask Stan for help with the journal (as stated in tbob) is worry that it would put Stan in danger (even if it was expressed in what was probably the meanest and most condescending way possible). And of course also Stan being one of the three people Ford would sacrifice the entire universe for.
Imo for him the question is "why is my brother such an immature dumbass who gets himself into trouble all the time" but never "why do I have to help him out ". And it doesn't matter if the answer to the second one is eventually something along the lines of "because he's my brother and I love him", because I think it's out of character to even ask it, as to him the answer is that obvious. If Stan's in danger then he will save him, because of course he will (and because he doesn't have to even think to know that he'd always rather have the most annoying brother in the world who he's not even on speaking terms with than not have a brother at all)

Looking at the Pic the asker sent, I just noticed the single scratch mark on the table being caused by Ingo's only finger that's made out of iron (or whatever Chandlures are made out of TvT) and I just really love that detail ^^

Aww thank you! I figured he'd try to keep himself up but ultimately fail.

So I was scrolling back and I'm a little confused about this panel. What's going on here?
(love this au btw)
Oh! yea well as they were presenting a threat being so furious and as powerful as they were. Kamado had a plan that should any of the wardens get prove to be a threat during the red sky that he will hold them in the small prison. So this is his plan put into action and the safest and best way to do that is through the use of sleep powder. The poor guard is very unsure about this action but does it anyway.

Hc that Ford gets a job at a local community college as a physics prof after he and Stan are done sailing around the world and fulfills his destiny as the eccentric professor he was always meant to be
And he quickly gains a reputation amongst the stem students as That Professor
I bet his ratemyprof reviews would be insane:
“He didn’t grade any of our homework until the end of the semester, but he brought something called a ‘plaidypus’ to class and let us pet it. Her name was Dorothy. 5/5”
“He constantly ranted about how ‘triangles are the most untrustworthy shape’ whatever that means. Also he doesn’t know how to use the internet. I hated his class. 5/5”
And many more iterations of “this guy is terrible. 5 stars”

So, hundred dollar question. What happened to Beni after the red sky?
He was never seen again.
Joking, not actually that much different than in game where he still works at his shop. He was however warned never to speak or look at Akari again. At least not until she decided otherwise. he did wind up with some good scars afterwards though. He didn't get off scot free after all.
