The puppetry and Jeff Blim as the cunty ass narrator makes me wish there was a starkid version of Labyrinth. The narrator reminded me of the goblin king but also sir Hop-a-lot is literally sir Didymus but as a frog like they're the exact same character. Knight who's a silly animal sidekick devoted to the main girl. They even talk the same.

What I really love about Cinderella's castle is that instead of trying to mimic a disney movie they went for the much more niche aesthetic of those traumatising 80s fantasy movies

In Cinderella's Castle I think the stepmother is at her most terrifying not when we see her as the literal troll she is but when she's in her skin suit and actually acting like Ella's mom because We Know how cruel she is but right now she's just acting like this girl's mother. And I think that's what it feels like for Ella when she Knows her stepmother is a monster but nobody believes her because they're convinced she's a benevolent mother figure
