Hey loves 👋🏻 I’m still here! Sorry I’ve been neglecting this page of fabulousness and fashion. To be honest, there’s not much of that in my life right now! I’ve been mega strict with myself throughout lockdown and I don’t have a bulging wardrobe of new clothes or even new loungewear. 🖤 Confession time 🖤 . I’ve become stretch jersey down to my very core. I only put ‘outside’ clothes on to go to @aldiuk and even then they are leisurewear at best. Part of me yearns for the need to wear a tailored dress, or a structured waistband, then the other (extremely comfortable) part of me is thinking “this is the life you DREAMED of, always wearing comfies and almost never wearing a bra!” . This picture was taken in summer, in a gorgeous @riverisland plus dress that I bought from one of @georginagrogan_ ‘s clothing sales and it’s genuinely one of my most favourite summer dresses. . I’ve never been one to feel obliged to dress a certain way, but I do hope this lockdown experience has given some people a chance to reflect on the pressure they’ve put themselves under to ‘stay on trend’ or ‘never be seen in the same outfit twice’ etc. I’ve got clothes from 2019 I’ve not had a chance to wear this year, so I’m gonna be having stern words with myself if I develop the urge for a ‘new post lockdown wardrobe’ or whatever slogans the brands are gonna pull out of their arse to get sales back up in 2021!
