The curse of the longer timelapse is battery power! Buying an expensive battery grip or external power pack is an option…
So as a little project I thought i would set out to make my own…
I have a small stack of Turnigy 3S 2200mah Li-Po’s from model aircraft, so one or two of these can be used as the power source… Mine are the 25-30C Discharge version but the 20C version would be fine for this…

Up went the DJI Mavic Pro and at a battery per clip collected JPEG images at a rate of 2 seconds per image…
