Assuming Mangione is the killer for a minute: people are applying a lot of adjectives to him (hot, Italian, rich, tech bro, etc.) but one I'm not seeing much of is "disabled." Which is curious, because much of the evidence suggests that his disability was his most salient identity as far as the shooting is concerned. But we don't call him disabled, because we simply do not think of "assassinating someone and escaping on a CityBike" as something a disabled person does.

#hm #OP i do think it’s important to remember that often times disabilities can be used as identifiable information #particularly in physical disabilities #that such public discussuon of such could negatively impact his case #argument could be made for positive impact now #but it sounds more like it could have greater weight in the case for both sides #which is why everyone is quiet about it #not the discussuon #anyway typos aside #ive been quiet with my own personal observations out of fear of the Feds but while i do think you are on to something #i actually think it’s gonna end up being way bigger than it is now
