i dont know anything about the beatles but like, is Paul McCartney like homosexual cursed or something, why does he keep getting into gay as hell situations
Another more subtle revolution - one the fans didn't appear to notice - was that the Beatles started to wear makeup on stage. At first, it was to hide their spots. After all, George especially was still a spotty teenager, but they all flared up from time to time, as most teenage boys did. (...)
The Beatles were a bit sheepish when the Max Factor Panstick and eyeshadow was produced, but they got over that by joking about it, strictly among themselves. I can't remember who started using it first. Probably George, because he had the worst skin problems. I can remember John and Paul goofing about, acting feminine and camp as they applied the makeup. They would pretend to apply lipstick, pursing out their lips and blowing kisses, but it was just camp playing about.

““…It’s me remembering walking down the street, dressed in black, with the guitars across our back. I can picture the exact street. It was a place called Menlove Avenue. Someone’s going to read significance into that: Paul and John on Menlove Avenue. Come onnnnnnn.””
