When I first saw this on my phone, Stromae just looked like a stereotypical hipster in bubble wrap. Although he looks great, I didn’t like the idea. Didn’t seem creative at all, just unwrapping the newest trend… But now that I’ve seen the image on a bigger screen, I see the glasses are damaged - missing one lens and warped frame. He’s being unwrapped from his recent arrival in North America. Now we’re not just seeing the newest star du jour. Now he’s "imported hipster, damaged on delivery". This fits perfectly with his own image… he’s called himself a "cheap maestro,“ and now he’s a damaged hipster. I love it.

I finally had time to subtitle another video. I really dread the amount of school work I have this year, which has been keeping me from doing what I love doing: translating Stromae stuff. -.-’ But the summer is coming up, so… XD
