reminding myself how silly it is to constantly compare myself to others for Make A Terrible Comic Day

Do you ever think about how Ezra had to remind Kanan that it was Empire Day? Just imagine how many Empire Days Kanan must have spent at the bar getting blackout drunk, replaying the fall of the Jedi in his mind over and over, trying to figure out where they had gone wrong, what they should done differently. Just think of how much healing must have already happened since he met Hera on Gorse that he could wake up that morning without it being the first thing on his mind.

Sabine starts making textile art so Kanan can still see what she's been working on. Ezra rapidly describes the colors and feelings of her explosions so Kanan can remind her that it looks "wonderful as always". Zeb repurposes the dejarik board so the characters are tangible enough for Kanan to hear and feel. Chopper extends part of his body as a cane while they're traversing rocky terrain. Hera tells him what the stars look like as they both try to doze off.
