Provera contains a synthetic form of a hormone that is similar to the progesterone hormone. It maintains the inner lining (endometrium) of the uterus that sheds out during the menstrual cycle of a woman. So, it is used to suppress PCOS symptoms by inducing one-time withdrawal bleeding/ periods in women. Usually, Clomid is taken with provera to help the women to conceive without any difficulty. Side Effects of provera vary from woman to woman. But usually, weight gain, fatigue, and headache are seen as the side effects. And it makes the women vitamin d and vitamin b deficient as well.

AGEs are associated with ovulatory dysfunction. It is observed that there is increased expression of AGEs as pro-inflammatory receptors in the ovarian tissue. Advanced glycation end products aka AGEs are highly reactive molecules that are formed due to thermal processing and modifications of food. #pcosweightloss #pcoswarrior #pcosfighter #pcosdiet #pcosweightlossjourney #pcosawareness #pcoscysters #pcossucks #pcoslife #pcossupport #pcosfood #pcoscommunity #pcoscyster #pcospregnancy #pcoslifestyle #pcosproblems #pcosinfertility #pcos #ovawellness #ovum #healthovawealth #ovahealth #womenwellness #hormonalacne #hormonalimbalance #hormonalbalance #hirsutism #hormones #pcosawareness #awareness_pcos_campaign #pcosmonk — view on Instagram http://bit.ly/2SwNzzf

Metformin And PCOS/PCOD
Please seek medical advice before taking any medication. This blog is just for the knowledge of people.
Metformin comes with instruction to avoid greasy fatty acids, sugars, dairy products, and soda.
This blog I am writing is based on lots of research. I contacted many women who were on metformin to reduce weight. On an outcome, I found out that, Not every woman is satisfied with metformin results. For some, it is proved to be a bliss and for some, Metformin plays havoc on their tummy.
So here we go with some facts,
The results of this medication depend on the dosage of this medication.
From some study on women,
it’s analyzed that, women on these medications, suffer from Anemia and Iron deficiency. Moreover, fatigue is also a side effect of metformin.
Vitamin D deficiency is also common while on this.

Chakras and PCOD
Energy Centers aka Chakras
Chakras are the energy centers. Mostly, people know about only 7 Chakras but factually, there are 114 Chakras in our body. It also has 72000 nadis/energy channels according to Indian Sadhguru. When these channels meet at different points in the body, they form a triangle. And we call it chakra, which means ‘wheel’. Here, Wheel represents growth, dynamism, and movement. Some of these energy centers are very powerful that they produce different qualities in the human being. While other centers do not make much impact.
Below are 7 Energy centers with their associated glands, that makes the qualities in the human being.
Chakras and associated gland-
7th Chakra- Crown Chakra-Pineal Gland
6th Chakra-Third Eye Chakra- Pituitary Gland
5th chakra- Throat Chakra-Thyroid Gland
4th Chakra- Heart Chakra-Thymus Gland
3rd Chakra- Solar Plexus Chakra-Pancreas Gland
2nd Chakra- Sacral Chakra- Testis/Ovaries
1st Chakra- Root Chakra- Adrenal Gland
Do you know if your Chakras are in balance state?
Disturbances in the subtle energy centers translate into physical manifestations. Whenever our energy centers get blocked, they manifest differently. Any spiritual path can be described as a journey from the base chakra, ‘Mooldhara’, located at the base of the spine to the ‘Sahasrar’ chakra, located at the top of the head. This pathway of movement from the Mooldhara to Sahasrar is from one dimension to another.
Let’s understand this in terms of PCOS/PCOD-
How a PCOS women can relate to Chakras-
First, A PCOS/PCOD women, usually experience anxiety disorder, fear issues, eating disorder, insecurity, loneliness, unconfident, ungrounded and problem in the colon, constipation, problems with groin, lower back pain etc, all this represents that there is some imbalance in your root chakra.
Second, If a PCOS/PCOD women experience emotional instability, extremely lethargic and unmotivated for life particularly exercise and sex, fear of change, sexual dysfunction, mild depression or addictions, low libido, and unbalanced emotions then her Svadhisthana Chakra is imbalanced.
Third, If a PCOS/PCOD women experience stress all the time, physically and mentally exhausted, Poor memory and concentration, digestion problems, metabolism issues, low self-esteem, difficulty in decision making, may have anger or control issues, She may have “gut feelings” but are not sure of what or where they are coming from, contributing to her distress then her Manipura Chakra is imbalanced.
Fourth, If a PCOS/PCOD women lose sight of beauty, love, empathy,  compassion, and  feel grief, anger, jealousy, fear of betrayal, uncommitted, detached and hatred towards others and yourself, breast problems, upper back pain, shoulder, and upper arm pain, then her Heart Chakra is imbalanced.
Fifth, If a PCOS/PCOD women poor coping skills, feeling isolated, nervousness, difficulty in expressing emotions, thyroid problem, gum problem then her 5th chakra is imbalanced.
Sixth and seventh chakra are indirectly related to above manifestations.

Total Wellness
Complete Wellness= Physically fit+ Mentally fit.
Either,
Are you not overweight or underweight? Plus you consider yourself as physically fit? And, still not able to conceive? Still not having regular cycles? Still having mood swings?
This all is occurring because your mind is not in peace. People need to be mentally fit as well.
Or,
Are you underweight or overweight? And also, Are you not fit mentally? Plus, still not able to conceive? Still not having regular cycles? Still having mood swings?
This happens when people are disturbed by something. Maybe they have some stress like career stress, job stress, relationships stress etc. These type of people need to work a lot harder for themselves. They need to balance both aspects i.e, physical and mental.
A healthy person will have both the things within them. It explains that complete wellness requires us to address the mind and body to get to the root causes of illness.
PCOD/PCOS requires a lot of attention from you. This is something that must be on your list to get rid of it as soon as possible.
/PCOD/PCOS requires a great deal of consideration from you. This is something that must be on your rundown to dispose of it as quickly as time permits.
/Factually, there are numerous kinds of health, including financial, spiritual, communal, and emotional. Along these lines, when standard medications don’t work, it’s ideal to look further, for underlying issues, for example, inflammation, dietary insufficiencies, hormonal irregular characteristics, toxicity—or emotional turmoil.

Tests that you can take to diagnose.
Do you have ovarian cysts? And you don’t feel like having PCOS/PCOD?
That might sound right. Having cysts doesn’t always relate to PCOS/PCOD. Saying, you have cysts in the ovaries and so, you are diagnosed with PCOS? That’s partially true. PCOS on the ultrasound scan is just an impression.
Normally, women have cysts in the ovaries and that’s is completely fine.
At some certain age, most of the women get cysts but they get removed automatically with time unless they are manifesting other issues.
So, you can go and have an ultrasound scan to diagnose but you need to pay more attention to endocrinologists.  The endocrinologist can help you detect other symptoms of PCOS as well as can help with the treatment.
Here are some test, that you can take-
But, not necessarily that means you may have all to have PCOS. For example, for me, I didn’t have acne issue but I had PCOS/PCOD. Similar case with weight. I know a friend who had absolute normal weight but had expressed PCOS differently.
Conditions that you can analyze at home-
Excess facial and body hair.
Scalp hair loss.
Acne.
Weight Gain.
Menstrual Irregularity.
Tests-
As usual cysts on ultrasound scan.
If the size of the ovaries is increased.
High level of male hormones.
Lack of ovulation.
Blood tests to detect the levels of oestradiol (estrogen), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), and high androgen.

You know, only you can help yourself.
YOU KNOW ONLY YOU CAN HELP YOURSELF-
Yeah, it’s true and you know that. So what are you waiting for? Here are the things that cost you zero bucks and will help you in a great way.
Include exercise in your routine, at least for 30 minutes. First makes your body flexible by doing it for a few weeks. Then, Do YOGA. You can go to ‘Surya Namaskar’. Doing Surya Namaskar for 40 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening will work like magic for you. You will be able to feel good. Here’s the way to do Surya Namaskar, follow the right steps and do it the right way for effective results. You can measure changes in you right after 2 or 3 months.
Have you ever thought that you have to fix PCOS/ PCOD in 3 months, just like the way i-pills do? I had that same feeling but if you really want to see measurable changes, you have to kick yourself at least for a start. Don’t be too lazy. Suryanamaskar is the medicine that will work for you naturally, exactly the same way as i-pills do. (with no side effects).
Practice good sleep hygiene. Maybe you are working or having an uptight schedule. But, sleep is the most important part of it. Sleep at least for 8 hours. Stop using your mobile phones and stop being so active on social media. You need sleep and you have to cover it. INSOMNIA is serving no way. It’s only making the conditions worse. Try to eliminate caffeine, that will help you with good sleep. Eliminate alcohol. Limit naps. You can take dietary supplements like Valerian and chamomile in the night before going to bed.
Reduce stress. Above two will help. In addition, try to feel those emotions that you are suppressing and that are causing stress. Address them one by one. Sit in a comfortable place and think about them one by one. Try to understand your emotions, what type of emotions are they and what do you feel about them. Self-talk. And you will see them suppressing this way. Because now you are addressing them. And it’s a good way to reduce stress.
Your diet. Your diet will help you in a great way. Consider avoiding processed food all the time. If you are having cravings, trust me to reduce them. Take processed food as a snack, don’t take more than 2 or 3 bites of it. Instead, create a jar of yours that contain healthy and healthy and munch on that whenever you crave food.
Manifest good things all day. This will help you by building up the great attitude and you will found yourself more determined throughout the day. Manifest like, This is going very great and I am feeling so good about it; I am healing. I am feeling positive and energetic. This day is amazing and I am making most out of it.
Take breaks, go on vacations. Try to spend time with family and the loved ones. Create love and spread love.
*** That’s it.***
Follow these steps and see a major change. You will love yourself for this.
Your body isn’t trash, so stop feeding it trash.

I don't know..but i am pretty happy with me. It's not like i didn't have problems that were associated with PCOS but it's like i overcome those one over another. I remember the time when i used to lie on the bed every night and doing nothing. I was suffering from all the pains by myself. I tried to take help but yeah who would have helped me other than me! Though i didn't lose much weight. But losing 7 kgs worked for me for a start. Now, i feel good. I feel as if no one deserve the power to ask me, hey why do you have facial hairs? Wouldn't that make you less of a woman! No. No one have the power to make you feel so! Just stop giving fuck to these people. Also, remind yourself that you are a strong woman. Though at times you can feel a little distracted but that doesn't make you less strong my dear. You rock always! P.S- Yes, losing weight to get over PCOD is a myth. But losing weight to get relief from it's syndromes like mood swings, irritability, depression, acanthosis nigricans, pre-diabetes risk etc is a fact. PCOD is a disease that need to be cured. And PCOS are the syndrome associated with the cysts and they need to get lowered. — view on Instagram http://bit.ly/2VwtCa9
