Bonjour . A bit of a heavy post ahead , trigger warnings for sexual trauma .

My name is Blot . I am , a fictive of Blot from dandy's world , and for the time being until things can settle down enough , I will be managing our social media .

Our bodily brother who is our childhood abuser and definitely a key factor into why we are a system to begin with has been given grace by our family because he went homeless .

I will be saying "us" collectively as at this point we weren't aware we were a system .

When we were 14 years old this guy couldnt handle the concept of us being asexual , and at his adult age already in his 20s , made us look at porn . He kept calling us inappropriate things and pushed the idea of us being a lesbian for the purpose of talking about sexual topics together .

That was only the worst of what he did , there is far more . But after our parents found out , they said he would never be on our property again . He nearly went homeless , and they decided to show him mercy .

Peachie holds the majority of the trauma from that , he cant stand being around him . Astro was holding front as best as he could but he gets tired very easily . I have no emotional ties to anything , and that may very well be why im here . I cant sympathize , but I can at least understand that this situation is bad . And I want to do my best to help because I do care for my headmates .

But now some bad news .

We are in the process of moving . We were under the impression that our brother would not be coming with us when we left , but we've recently learned they've decided to take him with us as well . Peachie is upset , as he thought once we moved away he'd be done hiding and could live life again , but unfortunately if he's still with us he's going to have a hard time being around .

This is Slumber . A multiversal entity who gives good dreams to those who deserve them , and horrible nightmares to those who they hate .

Slumber by technicality isn't actually an astro , but they will happily reply to the name and wont deny if you call them that . They're a shapeshifter with no base form and they're enamored with the toons in dandys universe especially dandy himself , close second being Astro .

Slumber is a playful spirit , when not in their dreamscape they simply explores different worlds in the multiverse , not really caring about concealing their appearance or keeping what they are a secret .

Slumber considers themself a God of dreams .

Slumber can provide anyone of their choosing a wishing star . When given this it can be used to call Slumber if you need their assistance by simply wishing upon it .

Slumber goes by ANY pronouns . I am mostly using they in this thread for consistency but any pronouns are fine they dont really have a preference on that .

Slumber is morally gray . They will give anyone good dreams as long as they stay on /their/ good side . Should anyone piss them off its all over .

And they're VERY scary when they're angry .

I hope to draw them more and expand on their lore myself but interpretations are fine anyone can do whatever they want forever .

Personalitywise , ive been somewhat basing them on rose quartz from Steven universe . Very giggly and curious , loves to explore and learn about people , but is not in tune with the emotions of others and they can tend to not take dire situations seriously if they don't directly affect them .

This is a quick scenario that popped into my head . I've had this headcanon for a while of Dazzle having an unrequited crush on astro , but i listened to a song that made me think of what would happen should they get together but Astro is still holding on to feelings for Dandy .

Wheeee.....

Years had gone by in a flash . Pictures that were hung up in gardenview showed the ever desolate state they were in . A hopeless reminder of the happiness this establishment was once known for .

Dazzle's eye caught sight of one picture in particular as him and his brother walked down the the hall , urging them to a halt on their path to gaze up at it . The image was a very old photo of Astro and Dandy . They sat together under the tree in gardenview's Lobby . To most this would be a beautiful depiction of a lasting bond , but to Dazzle , it was a reminder of everything he didn't do for the celestial toon .

"Are you okay , Dazz... ?" Razzle would reach his hand over their chest , gently placing it on his brother's shoulder as an attempt to comfort him .

He was met with silence for a moment as Dazzle thought over how to answer . Finally speaking .

"He really built Astro into the person he is today , didn't he ?"

Razzle's eyes grew wide for a moment as he looked up to the picture Dazzle had been studying intently . He sighed as he leaned his head against his brother's .

"I guess you could say that ."

Razzle had no clue how to begin comforting Dazzle through such feelings of envy . But it was true . All the years his brother spent pining for the moon , and now he was finally his ... but Dandy was the one who Astro relied on for so many years . Everything Dazzle wanted to be for the moon , Dandy had already been ten times over .

Dazzle sighed as he brought his hand up over his brother's , holding it and squeezing it gently .

"When i'm with Astro , I can tell he's somewhere else... I don't doubt that he cares for me , but I fear he may not care for me the way he wants to..."

Dazzle's voice lowered to practically a whisper as he made one more comment .

"The way I wish he would..."

Razzle hummed , closing his eyes as the two stood in silence for a few moments .

What words could be said to someone experiencing a broken heart . . . Razzle wasn't particularly versed in such things . But this was his brother , and he would do his absolute best for him . His eyes opened and he lifted his head , then his hand , turning his brother's mask to face him .

"No matter what happens . What choices you make going forward , I will always be supporting you ." He leaned his forehead to Dazzle's . "I know its not the same , I could never be the same as something like that , but you're not alone , dear brother ."

"Razzle..." Dazzle was tearing up . Closing his eyes they streamed down his face . "You've put up with so much through this for my sake... I truly appreciate you , brother ."

"That's what family is for . . ."

There was a smile in Razzle's gentle tone , their arms wrapped around their body in their best attempt to embrace one another . Dazzle turned his head once more to the image on the wall .

"I think ... I am going to break up with Astro ."

Razzle looked up too , sighing and nodding .

"That may be for the best... " he leaned his head against his brother's once more . "I'm very proud of you , Dazz... I love you ."

"I love you too , Razzle . . . Thank you for everything ."

The twins would stay here for a while , contentedly silent in one anothers company .
