The Truth About Your Mother Part 2|Levi x Evelyn

(A/N: I'm glad everyone liked the first part, I'm surprised it did so well! I hope you enjoy part 2 and feel free to give me some more requests! (Especially for this type of time skip it's so interesting-) Thank you for the request, (and the follow, I see you and I appreciate it <3)

The children all sat around their father like he was about to tell them a bedtime story like when they were younger. Except this time it was much more sinister and with the fear that the father they knew so well and loved would be a tainted memory forever.

"You brats know your mother was a Scout like me. Correct?"

They all nod and Kenneth chimes in. "Of course Father, nearly as amazing as you just like you said."

"However we knew each other long before then. Once upon a time we lived in the Underground, the very thing I sought to destroy once Queen Historia took the throne. Now you learned about that place in your history classes, but when your mother and I grew up there it had to devolved into such a shithole I vowed to make enough of an income so that neither of us would ever return there."

"That's when Commander Erwin brought you into the Scouts, right Father?"

"Mm. Your mother had issues with her legs, the lack of sunlight will do that to you. They promised her care. I carried her to the surface myself."

Levi smirks at their expressions, their father was so caring to their ailing mother. He always had them wrapped around his finger.

"But before that it was just us and your Uncle Kenny against the world. And when he disappeared it was just us. He made me promise to care for her with all of my heart. And I took that. We had our arguments but we made up in the end. The two of us became the four when we added in your Uncle Furlan and Aunt Isabel. It was ride or die together until a Titan took them both from us."

He had told the story of his oldest children's namesakes before, never stopping to move them beyond belief. Even in his cold and dead heart this story never ceased to bring a small bout of emotion to him.

"From then on your mother and I just stuck closer and closer together. We were there for each other. And that's all we had." He pauses for just a moment. "I fell in love with her even more. To the point I couldn't stand it, but your mother didn't feel the same way."

"What did you do Father?" Kenneth, the romantic of the group and eager to hear what his father had to say.

"I persevered son. What have I told you when it comes to women other than your sisters?"

Furlan answers. "That they don't know what they want. So you have to show them."

Levi smiles slightly and ruffles the boy's hair. "Exactly. But your mother was stubborn. Commander Erwin and I had to get her to agree to a marriage of convenience and safety."

"Safety from what Father?"

"From the evil Marley child. They wanted to kill your mother and turn her against me. I had to protect her, and in doing so married her."

They all nod in understanding.

"But your mother was stubborn to the end, refusing my rights as her husband and needing constant discipline. Had I not taken my rights seriously then none of your brats would've ever been born."

They all seem surprised, shocked that their mother wouldn't want to have them.

"We came to a reluctant truce during the war, after she found out she was pregnant with you Furlan. But once you were born and your sister Isabel on the way the stress of the change the world had come to made her snap."

"Mama's Big Mistake...." Furlan whispered.

"Mm. She ran away taking you with her, leading you into a life of poverty and struggle because I failed in controlling her. But do you think I gave up?"

The twins smile. "No way."

Levi's smile gets wider. "Such smart boys. That's right, I chased her down to the ends of the earth, and I never would have found her unless Furlan rushed through the crowd and found me. Bringing your mother and I back together."

They all smile. "Did Mama every try and rebel again Father?" Isabel asked.

"Never again, she understood that I disciplined her out of love, not hate. And she came to fall in love with me too. Recognizing her rightful place as an Ackerman and blessing me with the rest of you and your siblings."

"Telling stories Levi?" Even now Evelyn's voice never ceases to get him going, looking more lovely now than the day he decided who she belonged to.

"Do you love Father now Mama?" Sweet little Erwin asked.

Evelyn sits on Levi's lap, making sure to favor his strong knee. "With all my heart, love."

"I was telling these brats the truth about how we got together."

There's a slight pained and even concerned look that's quickly masked into neutrality. "And do they still love you?"

"Kids?" He asks, raising a brow.

"Of course we do!" The twins eagerly hug their parents before hurrying upstairs to bed.

"I'm so happy you came to love Father, Mama." Isabel follows suit, leaving the parents with their oldest, who had been oddly quiet this whole time.

"What's the matter boy." Levi's voice was cold, sharp.

"Nothing-"

"What did I tell you about being direct, stand up straight and tell me what's wrong."

"Father, do you ever regret the choices you had to make to have Mama?"

Levi is quiet a moment. "No. Sometimes the right thing to do isn't always the easiest."

He nods. "I understand. I hope I can learn to be half the man you are Father. So I can do the right thing, even when it's hard."

Levi's chest swells with pride. "I'm sure you will son. Now hug your mother goodnight and make sure your siblings are tucked into bed."

Furlan does so, leaving the not so normal couple alone.

"So you don't regret it....?"

Levi looks at his wife, hiding her face in his chest. "No. Why should I? Can you tell me really and truly that you wish you found another man and did things the hard way?"

"No. It's much less stressful to have my life planned out for me. The chances are some other man would die in battle or be a doormat for my personality."

"That's what I thought."

The two sit in silence for a moment, just enjoying each other's company.

"I love you Levi." Her soft lips meet his as he tenderly kisses her.

"I love you too sweetheart."

The Truth About Your Mother|Levi x Evelyn

(A/N: I wanted to do a oneshot with older Levi and his grown kids. I've been brainrotting about how they would interact with their parents and their father's ways. Let me know if I should do a part 2 with the story! (Because it got really long for build up lmao))

Levi's children were his pride and joy, after all he had put Evelyn through in the end she had blessed him with seven children. Four strapping boys and three beautiful girls. Furlan and Isabel were nearly grown now, and the twins Kenneth and Erwin were old enough to have a mind of their own.

Each of his children lived up to their namesakes, named after those he both loved and hated simply because of the person who carried the name before them. He wanted each of his children to embody the strength and spirit of those who they named them after. Although after the first few, he ran out of noble people to name his children after, leaving him with one Julien, and his youngest daughter Maria, named after the mission that brought him his wife and the greatest honor he had ever recieved.

Growing up they had a strict regime in order to become just like their father in all things. He wanted these brats to be a legacy for him. To have anyone who came in contact with one of them know they were Ackermans. When they succeeded he rewarded them greatly. Many a nobleman's child envied the lavish birthday parties and Christmas celebrations Levi gave.

They all grew up to respect and adore their father. Able to tell him anything and receive sound advice, as well as affection. He rarely raised his hand towards them, and when he did they knew why they had deserved it.

However they never knew the truth about their mother's history. Or how she was treated.

After her return to the manor, what Levi ingrained Furlan into remembering as "Mama's big mistake", was the last time she defied Levi. Soon her attitude became like his, and therefore like her children. The town's people bitterly nicknamed it the "Ackerman arrogance", when the dark hair and cold eyes of that family entered the vicinity, all knew to watch out or be cut down with their influence and sharp tongue.

Evelyn was more nurturing and caring than Levi, and left all the discipline to him. However the children still favored their father, since it was his instruction and wallet that gave them all their heart's content.

Levi never beat or even yelled at his wife in front of their kids, determined to show himself in the best light to them. But they were all warned to let Papa know if Mama was trying to disobey him.

He had carefully constructed his life so his children would never know the terrible secret.

At least he thought.

Furlan had been Erwin Smith's personal assistant since he was old enough to be. Having the lessons of the military beaten into him he didn't have to go to basic training. But that didn't mean he didn't catch onto the other's looks of envy and annoyance seeing such a young cadet get such a valued position.

While he sat typing up the notes from the Commander's last meeting he couldn't help but notice today Erwin staring at him.

"Is something wrong, sir?"

Erwin shakes his head. "Nothing really. I just can't get over how much you look like Levi."

Furlan offers the slightest smile. "Thank you sir, that means a lot."

"How is the old bastard getting on? We've both been so busy friendly chats are out of the question."

"As well as he can be. I don't think he'll ever shake that limp and his cane, I've never seen him without it since I was born. But he's the same Levi, in fact I think my siblings help keep him and Mother young."

Erwin scoffs. "Of course. Nothing can touch the unkillable soldier."

Furlan detects the bitterness in his voice. "Sir? Can I ask you a question?"

"What is it."

"Do you not like my father? I know my brother is named after you but it still seems like you don't like him."

"I respect that he knows how to play the game. I respect his judgement and his skills. But no, I'm not particularly fond of him."

"Can I ask why?"

"Ask him for the truth about your Mother, about how he got her to marry him."

"Sir-"

"If you want the truth, then you'll have to suck it up and demand it yourself. He's been lying to you all for years."

"And that's what he said Father." Furlan had gathered the oldest four siblings, him, Kenneth, Isabel, and Erwin all together to hear what Levi had to say. The little ones didn't need to hear this, especially if it was what he feared.

Levi taps his cigarette into the waiting tray. "So you think your old man has been lying to you. My own brats don't trust me."

Isabel is quick for damage control. "Please Father, you know we're not accusing you of anything. We just want to know the truth."

Levi pats her head, taking a moment and sighing. "Very well. I think you should all have a seat.

All Might tried his best not to grimace at the bright fluorescent lights. He was used to hiding in the shadows and fighting crime during the day, sitting in a police station for questioning was not something he was particularly enjoying. There were so many more important things that he could be doing at this moment.

"Is there a problem sir?"

"Thank you for coming, please, take a seat."

There wasn't an answer to All Might's question, and he much more preferred to stand in situations like this, his height intimidated those in his way to cower in fear.

"No thank you, I'll just stand."

The man across from him sits anyway. "Now I'm sure you know it's no big secret that you decided to take on another sidekick, you made it rather public."

"That I did." He chose his words carefully, never once acknowledging his feelings towards Shade.

"Are you aware that your newest sidekick is currently missing?"

"I was aware, but I believed that perhaps she may have gotten intoxicated and lost, or her quirk allows her to do more than we thought and chose to disappear."

"We have-" He paused, thinking of how to phrase this. "Speculation, that she could have been taken."

"I see. Any leads as to who?"

"No, none. Which is why I asked you here, do you know if she had any enemies?"

All Might took a pause to think, trying to fabricate this whole story and clear him of suspicion entirely. Officers were tough, that could see through lies and use methods to get the suspect to reveal the truth.

"Now that you mention it, there was one."

The man perks up at once, straightening up and pulling out a notepad. "Please, continue."

"Shortly after Shade came to work for me she mentioned wanting to see a man, another pro, that she had met on our patrols."

"Who was he?"

"I'm not sure, but I could try and find out if you'd like."

"Yes that would be most helpful. But continue."

"Well, she had planned a day or so ago to meet up with him, and had confided in me she was doing so. However I advised against it, there was something about that man that seemed- sinister-"

"Sinister how?"

"As the Symbol of Peace, one gets acquainted with evil-doers. Ones of all sorts, and there was something about this man that made him feel just like one of those criminals in your jail cells."

"Is that so? And did she meet up with him?"

"I'm not sure, but I don't think she had any other plans that night."

He seemed very pleased, a lead presented to him, all tied up in a bow. "And when approximately was the last time you saw Ms. Shade?"

"Well that would have been- five o'clock? I believe five, we were through with working for the day and I promised to see her the next day for her next day of work training."

"And that was the last time you saw or heard from her? No texts, phone calls, emails?"

"Nothing at all."

"I see, well thank you All Might for all of your helpful information. I'll get this off and we'll look at the next steps." He extended a hand to shake.

"Of course." All Might accepted it. "It was the least I could do. I hope you find her, it's hard to get good sidekicks these days." He laughs slightly, making the chief of police join in with him.

"You always know how to bring some positivity into a dark situation All Might."

"It's what I do best. Now feel free to let my other sidekick Sir Nighteye know if you need anything else, but my hero work doesn't stop if one person is missing. I have to get back out there!"

He rushes off, breathing a sigh of relief that hopefully he had past the test and was now above suspicion.

Precious time had been spent working her way out of those restraints. Shade had made a shadow clone of herself to look around the penthouse for a key before determining All Might had taken the key with him. So she turned to picking the lock with bobby pins.

How much time had passed she didn't know, worry about him returning filling her. But who knew when the next chance would be for her to have time away from him to work at this? She had to take a risk now.

When each of them had finally clicked open she made sure to be as careful as possible when leaving that bed, fearing he had put some kind of alert device in the penthouse to go off should she move.

Shade tried to ignore the dripping in between her legs, she didn't have time to clean up now, but made a personal reminder to thoroughly cleanse herself of this man she used to call a hero. This fraud. The last thing she wanted was to end up pregnant by the man who had kidnapped her and done things to her without her consent.

The main door was locked, as were most of the windows. The front door was an absolute no, who knows who had been told of the situation, who would stop her and bring her back. No, it had to be one of the windows.

Shade marched over to one and tried to open it, but the lock held fast. Her arm was still broken, and she had to be careful how many shadow clones she made before she was at her limit and therefore trapped at the top of a skyscraper. She had to be smart about this.

Her lack of experience and training were showing now, most pros would know how to get out of a situation like this easily and here she was aimlessly hacking at a window lock with a butcher's knife. There was nothing else she could think of to do or use so she went with that she thought best. Eventually the lock had to give out, right?

She was hopeful, believing soon she'd be free of this mess. Get the police to DNA test the semen found in her body and put All Might in Tartarus prison for the rest of his life. Never to be free to fool and then harm another living soul ever again.

Or so she thought until the door opened.

Slowly Shade turned, knife still in hand, terror running through her as she looked up at her captor.

"Now I thought I told you to stay put."

Levi wrinkled his nose with disgust at the sight of this new country, no one knew who he was and therefore didn't treat him with the unwavering respect he demanded. If only these people knew what he had done for them, how he had stopped Eren from flattening every single one of them, then they would bow before him and acknowledge his superiority.

He couldn't linger on it too long, while his main mission was to recover his lost property, he had a personal debt to settle with a certain family.

The last person Kiyomi Azumabito expected to walk through her door was the infamous Levi Ackerman, she had made great strides to keep her relationship with the island purely professional since her recent involvement with Mrs. Ackerman.

"Captain Levi, what a pleasant surprise, what brings you all the way here? I would have expected you to look for me in Hizuru."

"Cut the bullshit. Where is she."

"I don't know what you're talking about, I'm here on business as well. We've recently come into a trading agreement with these lands, and I was in the middle of finalizing them, so if you'll excuse me I don't have time to chat. However you can make an appointment on the way out."

"I know you helped her, and I want you to help me, I'm quite tired of searching so I'd appreciate it if you just surrendered her to me now."

"What makes you think I have any inclination to help you?"

His eyebrow twitches. "When I tell you that I will hunt down every member of your family and slaughter them. Then I'll bring you a fresh body belonging to one of your kin every day, stopping only when you tell me where she is. Continue to refuse and I'll spill your blood on this hardwood floor before going through your records and find out for myself."

"All of this for one woman? You're a sick and depraved man."

"I will comb every country still left standing until I find her. You're nothing more than an obstacle."

"Then I suppose you better be ready to dirty your hands Captain. Because with the large sum of your money your wife gave me, I'm afraid it's worth more to keep her secret than your idle threats."

"Very well then, I'll be back in bright and early tomorrow Kiyomi." He smirks and takes his leave, if only Kiyomi knew how desperate he truly was.

Could he have spent his time simply looking for Evelyn? Perhaps. But Levi was not one to let anyone get away with insulting him. He had to prove a point, he had to ensure everyone he came in contact with knew he was a man to be feared and revered.

Since this country was a neighbor to Hizuru, finding plenty of civilians with the family seal was no issue whatsoever.

No one would be spared from his wrath, man, woman and child all fell to his blade as he cut down every last one of them.

Kiyomi was horrified to see the Captain drag in a fresh body every morning. Never once was he late, blood staining her floors every time. And every time he always demanded the same thing.

"Tell me where she is."

And every time Kiyomi would refuse, leading him to swear he would be back the next day with another body.

Levi was a man of his word, and continued to return with dedication, slaughtering each Azumibitio member as he came across them.

On that final day he brought in the last stinking body, a small child cut open from the throat to the stomach.

He dumped it at her feet. "I'll ask you one last time. Where is she."

She was horrified, this man had committed such horrors all to find his wife. However she was determined, this wasn't about the money anymore, it was about showing this small man she wasn't afraid of him, that he wasn't this invincible god. "I told you I'll take it to my grave."

"Good, makes things easier." In a swift move he puts a bullet through her chest, watching as she crumples to the ground. "You know you're really stupid to die on this hill."

Levi steps over her, foolishly trying to put pressure on the wound.

"You'll die prematurely, for what? To prove a point? Your life is cheap. All of your greed, pride, amounted to nothing. I still win, and there's nothing a single person can do to stop me. All of you people show an ounce of defiance to try and feel superior, and you're all crushed like bugs."

She reaches for him, trying to get him to stop going through her things, it can't end like this. It can't end with him winning.

"You're pathetic." Levi turns towards her and steps on the wound, making her cry out in pain. "All you'll ever be is forgotten." He kicks her to the side and continues his search.

"Stop-.." She manages, the last thing she sees in life is the dark grin as Levi holds up a sheet of paper.

"Found you." He smiles wider, looking at the neatly printed address.

Levi watched Evelyn over the table as she struggled to try and grip her tea cup. Like him, she had been injured in the war, however he had gotten away lucky with shrapnel to his body, a blind eye, a few metal fingers, and a nasty limp he couldn't seem to shake.

Evelyn on the other hand got the short end of the stick.

She had lost both her arms in the fight, their replacements these revolting metal contraptions. They made noise, were cold, and devoid of the warm and softness of her skin.

But he managed, and counted his blessings considering it meant she was completely depended on him to do basic tasks since she still hadn't gotten used to the jerking movements of her metal arms.

Although he hated it when she tried to be independent like right now.

"What are you doing?" He asked in a cold tone.

"Trying to get my fingers to work. I can't have you feed me forever."

He scoffs and continues reading the paper, however he wasn't really reading, distracted by her progress. If she managed to become dependent...Levi wasn't sure he could keep her restrained anymore. A punch to the face with skin and bone didn't phase him, but metal could do wonders to his own flesh, as well as doors and prisons.

But he couldn't just up and punish her, she would get suspicious for his reasons and try harder to get dependent. If she knew he was limiting her freedom in doing this she would just rebel.

When she knocked over the tea cup with a sigh, her fingers twitching too much Levi could hardly contain his relief.

Standing up he allowed himself to rage at her. "You clumsy bitch, you know how expensive groceries are now!? I try and give you simple luxuries and you waste them! Why can't you do anything right!? Just one thing!"

She seems speechless a moment, shocked he would switch up this quickly. "I- I'm sorry Levi it was an accident, it won't happen again, honest-"

"Damn right it won't-" He stomps out of the room, before returning with a screw driver. "Give me your arms."

"No Levi don't, I need those-"

"I said give me your arms!"

"Please- I'll get better-"

"Do you want a worse punishment Evelyn!? Do you want me to take you out back and whip you like a fucking horse!? I said give me your arms!"

She relents, giving them to him, while holding back tears at his aggression and the humiliation of having something so basic as arms taken from her.

When he's done he smirks with satisfaction. "Now I'll make you another tea, and this time, I'll make sure it doesn't spill."

Levi ensured that everything she did was by his strength. Feeding her, bathing her, helping her to drink, brush her hair, and have basic hygiene. Some of his favorite moments involved him reading to her in bed, her head on his chest since she couldn't hold the book herself.

He only let her have her arms back when she started to depend on him to make all her decisions and actions.

As he screwed them in Evelyn waited patiently. And when he was finished she didn't immediately reach for her tea this time, instead, she looked to Levi to help her drink, earning him a wide grin.

"That's my girl." He said as he held the cup to her lips.

The second was much different, this time All Might hadn't sought her out with ulterior motives in the beginning. Ones that went beyond a simple need to boost career. This time his next prey forced herself into his life, and he didn't mind in the slightest.

She was an up and coming hero like he had once been, desperate to make it in the ever increasingly competitive world of heroes. Dozens of new pros made debuts every day, an untold number never made it past that debut, forced to become a sidekick or leave the scene all together.

Clearly that was the case with this one, she was on a rapid decline and finding overdue notices on bills that should have been paid weeks ago. Desperate to make this career choice work at all costs to avoid a life of a base nine to five job.

The fool even came to see him with some ridiculous offer and begging him to help boost her career. When he declined, she became desperate and offered sexual favors in exchange for his support.

Her advances were accepted gratefully.

The girl had never been with a man before and yet gave herself freely to him to use. She cried when he first pushed in and didn't stop weeping until he was finished with her broken body. She had wanted this, but undoubtedly she seemed like the girl who wanted to wait and save herself until she found the perfect guy. Now she had given her innocence to the man who viewed her as nothing but a good time.

Day after day it continued, All Might making sure not to promote her career like he promised, promising "he would get to it" eventually. When she begged him to please hurry on it he threatened to take back his support and publicly shame her for seducing the Symbol of Peace for such a malicious reason.

The threat carried its weight, and soon he found himself bouncing her on his dick until she quite forgot why she had come to him in the first place.

For months this continued, All Might falling through on his promises and her begging him to not take away his support before ending the meeting with every inch of his office covered in bodily fluids.

Eventually she stopped coming to beg him to advance her career, soon she came just to get railed. Begging him to be harder and allowing him to deflower every one of her holes.

Poor girl, she was falling in love with him, or at least an image of him, and she'd have her poor heart broken in two.

She was the first of his conquests to have gotten pregnant, All Might refused protection on his end but insisted she take birth control. But as his pattern of intense passion followed by distance made itself known, the girl had gotten desperate and stopped taking it in hopes of tying him to her.

"Some obscure country far East, they didn't get the affects of The Rumbling that everyone else did. Aside from a slight housing crisis they seem to be doing better than most."

"And how did she get there?"

"Our dear friends the Azumabitos decided that they'd let her board one of their ships in return for a chunk of my money."

Clearly Erwin found a little amusement in this. "So she stole from you too?"

Levi grimaced. "Yeah she did, little bitch made off with whatever cash I had lying around."

"What do you want me to do?"

"I want you to make the proper arrangements so I can go after her."

"And then what? She'll just find a way to get in contact with the sympathizers again and start this process over in six months."

"Not if I bring in the whole family."

Now Erwin is silent, contemplating. "On what charge?"

"Espionage, smuggling a dangerous weapon, money laundering, terrorist threats, hell, even slavery if I can spin it right."

The Commander thinks on this for a moment before replying. "And you think while there you could bring all of them and Evelyn back to Paradis without issue?"

"I'd stake my life on it Erwin."

"Very well then, I'll make the necessary arrangements."

To his credit Erwin moved quickly, gathering supplies and men in a short amount of time to ensure Levi could set off before the day was over.

Sailors shuffled around trying to meet the deadline of setting sail, rumours of what would happen should the Captain be delayed fresh in their minds. Everyone had heard whispers of the bodies crying out for justice in their shallow graves under Ackerman manor.

Levi approved of this, a healthy dose of fear kept lazy asses moving, and gave him the respect he deserved.

"Captain? We're ready to depart."

"Good work cadet," He checks his watch. "With ten minutes to spare."

"Sir? Ten minutes before what?"

"Before I showed you what happens to those who make me wait."

The cadet pales, gaining a satisfied smirk from the Captain as he boards first, his eyes determined on the sea before him.

He would find her, it wouldn't be long now until fate brought her back into his arms. Then he would never let go, if his wife was determined to make a fool out of herself he'd ensure she never stepped free again until that rebellious spirit was broken down into dust.

"Enjoy your last days free my love, it's only a matter of time before I find you."

When All Might was finished with Shade he left her there shaking and drained. His superior strength meant she didn't stand a chance against his advances, he would always take what he wanted. Her tears and pleas fell on deaf ears when he finally found his release.

He adjusted his clothes and started his daily routine, as if the night prior he hadn't kidnapped an innocent woman and had his way with her. Business as usual.

Part of this routine was keeping up to date with the world outside, ensuring that his daily activities weren't found out and that he could continue to hide in the shadows.

Unfortunately the media was biting him in the ass.

News of Shade's disappearance had begun to spread like wildfire. Apparently the fool had made several social media posts about her involvement with All Might, as well as that nosy pro who had invited her over wondered what happened to her.

He had been a fool.

So far what the police had told the public is that she had been seen leaving her apartment, there were no signs of a struggle and yet she was gone. Probably taken from a back alley. They were searching them now for any clues as to who this mysterious attacker could be.

Hopefully this would all blow over, it always did. He was even more popular than before now, there was no reason his connections would fail him now. No matter what they found, it would never come back to him, right?

His phone rang.

"All Might." His voice was more stern than he would have liked.

"All Might, this is the chief of police, we'd like you to come in for questioning."

Beads of sweat dripped down his neck. "I'm on my way."

Shade felt numb all over, but her insides were burning with pain. Images of the man she looked up to most in life violating her over and over. Her body was filled with his cum, leaking out and making her feel disgusted.

With broken bones and the fear of the fastest hero alive in the next room all she could do was stay still. Hopefully he would come to reason and let her go, if he promised to stay far away from her for the rest of her life she probably wouldn't even press charges. Just then the door opens and the man of the hour enters, his face dark and grim. She tries to hide it but the faintest of grins comes to her face, he should be sweating bullets right now, knowing all of this would be brought to justice.

"I'm going out. I'll be back shortly. Don't try anything and I'll see about letting you up to clean yourself."

"Okay, I won't- I'll wait right here- but uhm, where are you going can I ask?"

He doesn't look at her as he responds, resolve and determination etched into his features.

"The Symbol of Peace is needed."

So far that wasn't working, and Levi had never been known to be a patient man. If she wasn't going to talk willingly, he'd make her, on pain of death.

"Dr. Strecker, how are we today." Despite his efforts, he couldn't hide the slight mocking tone and smug grin creeping onto his face.

"Go to hell Levi."

She was thin and pale, his men giving her enough to stay alive, but never enough to make her stomach stop gnawing in on itself. A sad state for such a respected medical professional.

But this is what happens when you cross Humanity's Strongest Soldier.

"Still as stubborn as ever." He sheds his coat, donning gloves instead, at this point the feeling of warm blood soaking through his clothes was second nature to him, besides, it would get her to see how far her denial would really get her. "I'll ask you this nicely," He picked up a pair of pliers almost lovingly. "Where is my wife."

The moment he steps close enough she spits on him, making his eyebrow twitch in anger as he struggles to calm himself enough.

"So you're still going to be difficult hm? I can fix that."

Lili stared down at her nubs for fingers, she had heard that most military interrogations ended with missing fingernails, not missing fingers.

One by one Levi had ripped off the nails and then the fingers, asking her question after question to find the whereabouts of Evelyn.

Each crunch of her bones gave Levi and even wilder look in his eyes. Soon he forgot to ask the questions, simply enjoying torturing her. Lili remembered now all the secret conversations she had with Evelyn and how the poor girl feared for the life of anyone who chose to help her. At first she hadn't believed the short man had it in him to be violent to anyone but his wife who couldn't fight back.

It was all her fault, if only she had found a way to get Evelyn out from under him before he had gotten her pregnant the first and second time, maybe then he wouldn't have this obsessive attachment to her. The poor girl deserved freedom, she had fought for it so hard.

"You can keep this up Levi, but Evelyn will be free from you, even if it means killing me, I'll never let an arrogant bastard like you control her!"

He seemed almost bored by her declaration of defiance, as if he expected this but wished she wasn't so difficult.

"You know, your mouth really pisses me off. Maybe if you didn't have your teeth you wouldn't keep biting your tongue every time I try and get a straight answer out of you."

Lili had to look away from the tray beside her to avoid feeling nauseous. One thing the Captain was happened to be thorough, he made sure he didn't miss a single tooth, keeping silent through her screams and waiting until she begged for mercy.

"Do what you want with me Levi, I'll take her secret to my grave-"

"Will you. What about that little friend of yours that you've kept so hidden from everyone's radar?"

A sickening feeling washed over her. "What the hell are you talking about."

"Oh I think you do, one Rosalie Brauer, you two seem to be very good friends. Don't you?"

Lili remains silent, begging her body not to betray a thing to this devil of a man.

"Or perhaps...more than friends?"

Again she keeps her lips sealed, he was cunning, he could take anything she said and twist it until it's a threat.

"Your silence is deafening doctor. It would be a terrible shame if she were to suffer a fate worse than you, and die knowing it was all your fault."

Before Lili could catch herself a single tear rolls down her cheek at the thought.

Levi noticed, he always notices the small things.

He crouches down to her ear, feigning sympathy.

"Now don't cry, love is a cruel mistress. Whether it be to spouses, lovers, children, or friends, all of us have this fierce need to protect. All I want is to protect my wife and children, that's all I've ever wanted. And my sweet Evelyn was content with that until someone put an idea in her head that she should want more. She had it all Strecker, a husband who adores the ground she walks on, two beautiful children, the largest house in all of Eldia, and plenty of money to ensure she and her children are taken care of until they take their last breath."

"You're....you're a monster who could never love-"

A dark look comes across his face, sympathy gone. "Why should you care about Evelyn's fate? What did she ever do to you except get you into this mess? You think you're righteous helping those who don't need it to feel better. To look good on paper and in front of those you're lying to. What would sweet Rosalie do if she knew the one she cared for had such a haunting past?"

Now she looks at him, a twinge of fear in her eyes.

"Oh yes I know. When I brought you in I did some digging, and trust me doctor, I know. I know how you used to help men like me to get what they wanted every time. How many women have you helped that are knocked up with their sixth child in the bed of some wrinkled asshole. How you use that money to fund an addiction that will slowly drive away all you hold dear. You claim to help women like my love but only if you have enough supplies to last you. If not, they all turn out the same. How would your friend react to this I wonder? As the life is draining out of her, knowing dear Dr. Strecker is a monster."

The tears flowed freely, he was terrifying. "You can't kill an innocent civilian- you'll get caught-"

"Watch me." His voice was so cold it made her jump. "I've done it before, I'll do it again. And again until I have my wife securely in my home. The bodies in my basement are piled too high to give a damn about you or your friend. Now I'll ask you for the last time Lili Strecker, where is my wife."

"That I've found my wife."
