Okay i’m doing the math on the s2 timeline and it’s BUCKWILD. I’ve seen ppl be like “it can’t possibly all take place in 1 month so it has to start in may 1921 and end in may 1922” BUT NO MY FRIENDS!!!! THE ANGLO-IRISH TREATY WAS SIGNED IN MAY 1921!!!!!!! Which means tommy HAD TO SHOOT THAT GUY IN MAY OF 1921.

So in the span of a MONTH he bought a horse, trained a 4th place horse, got the shit beat out of him, killed a guy, planned a bombing, settled all his affairs, bought SO MUCH PROPERTY, planned an assassination, started an export business, did a hostile mob takeover, lost a hostile mob takeover, REWON A HOSTILE MOB TAKEOVER, lost his export business got his family sent to jail, got his family out of jail, assassinated a dude, renovated his exploded pub and walked all the way home from his own grave.

Been thinking about fawn and motherhood, I think, if she's really honest with herself Theodore is the first child she properly "mothers" despite him being her third child, she missed a lot of Dorothy's childhood due to her living with the Meadows, and with Melody she was still mourning Richard.

But with Theodore, she's happily married to Matt and in some ways, she's out from under Tommy, she feels like she's safe.

I think that's impacts her relationship with her daughter's, Melody moves to the states to live with her grandparents and Dorothy still refers to Fawn by her name, rather than mother, there's love there of course but there something else, a disconnect.

Having binged the entirety of Peaky Blinders for the first time in under two weeks, my immediate impression is that this show is the perfect representation of "Men will do anything except go to therapy". Even Danny Whiz-Bang, who had a screentime of maybe 5 minutes, falls into this category.
