OHHHHHHHHHH alright, maybe ONE more month. Maybe longer. December was good to me. So, why not continue?! Right? I mean we can play this by ear. Besides GoDaddy managed to keep my blog up all month! AND I found out I can also pay month to month and not just a huge expense in January. I mean HELLO!!!!!!! December was expensive. I had planned on Selena and Alice being here the week after Christmas. Unfortunately, Selena's Father-In-Law was diagnosed with bone cancer. (Prayers for Bob are always appreciated!) So, Selena, Dan and Alice went to Tennessee.  Now we will have our Second Christmas later in January and just a long weekend instead of a full week. You know me! I will take what I can get! My excitement of Christmas 2021 has really backfired. BIG. TIME. Y'all remember that I decorated for Christmas with ALL of the trimmings, 3 trees, garland, lights, gnomes everywhere ummmmmm the day after Halloween. Yup, now I have to leave the entire set up alone until Alice and Selena leave. Could be all the way until Valentines Day. WTH!??!  Don't LAUGH! If I have to leave it all up until March the damn house is staying decorated until 2023! I would be remiss if I didn't mention the snow. HOLY GUACALOME Batman! We got snow! We got snow that I doubt will ever melt. Last year I mean the year before...... ahhhh hell the winter of 2019-2020 was so mild that I perhaps may have mocked it. Mother Nature HATES to be MOCKED. On the upside, the sled and the winter gear (Including a snow jumper) that I bought Alice can be used until probably JUNE!? Today? -4  YES, a MINUS!! That's our high!!

Merry Christmas!! #ChristKindlMarket

OMGEEEE wait until you see this amazing work of art! This is the Hand carved Benalu Wood Deer Statue Menjangan Bali's Yudi Suardi's hand carves a menjangan--meaning "deer" in Indonesian--from a piece of benalu, or parasite wood. The name also refers to Menjangan Island, an uninhabited island west of Bali where wild deer roam. Please note the base may vary in shape and size, as the artisan uses found benalu wood pieces to create this sculpture. The statue is super lightweight at just 0.4 lbs. Made of Benalu wood, my little guy is 7.75" high, 5.5" wide and approximately 3.9" deep. Wood grain is different with each hand-crafted item -- along with the color, so is the size and details because each deer is hand carved. Made in Indonesia. He has the MOST unique underside. It resembles a mushroom. He looks amazing standing proud next to my basket of antler sheds. Next up Hand Carved Jointed Wood Dog Sculpture, "Seated Dog" Handcrafted from native Albesia wood, this articulated sculpture of man's best friend is coming home for the holidays. Bali's Togog Suyasa presents this fanciful figure, enhanced with acrylic painted details. Another extremely lightweight wood weighing in at 0.3 lbs. AND he is 11.75" high, 3.5" wide and about 3.1" in diameter. This one I bought especially for my daughter Selena. She's a dog lover to the moon and back. Now, do I wait till next year when she delivers me Alice or do I send now.......... the evil little guy on my shoulder says he will be on my little roll-top desk until next summer. (insert evil laugh here....... kind of a Cruella Deville laugh, please) Also, please direct your attention to the roll-top desk! The chair and desk are once together again!!! After sitting down to think about it I realized this desk is 80 years old! EIGHTY!! AND four generations have sat at this desk and did their homework. How amazing is that?!!? The cute little dog is made of Albesia wood, hand-crafted so each dog will be different in size and details. This little guy came from Indonesia.

So I splurged a little and grabbed this Peruvian Handcrafted, Tooled Leather Tray for The Husband. This is SO cool, crafted by hand, this catchall is richly tooled leather. Johnny Jimenez creates his design with wavy borders and bramble thorn motifs. Leather lacings hold the shape of the practical decorative tray.  Another item that weighs in at a little over 0.5 lbs. The tray is large in size. 10.25" diameter, 2.4" high and 12.5" wide.  Since this item is also hand created you know your piece will be unique in size, color and motif. This piece will only get better with time as it is genuine leather. This tray arrived from Peru. Each piece arrives with a HAND WRITTEN thank you card from the artisan, not only in English but also in their native tongue. I mean HELLO! How cool is that?!?!  Tenma Kasih is Thank you in Bali. Is Light Therapy Suitable For Children?

Light therapy is an amazing technology that has changed our conventional concept therapy significantly. With a little bit of time, technology has evolved a lot and provides us with numerous benefits. A lot of industries are now experimenting with light therapy, gained and adopted this therapy in their regarding sectors. So, why should the child care industry lag behind them? Not even 2 minutes in to the movie Church People and I was already laughing. The Husband and I laughed through the entire movie. I laughed so hard I'm going to sit down and watch it again after I get this post done. Here are a few takeaways for you. First, YOU will enjoy this movie practicing Christian or not. I really believe that. If you have children THEY will enjoy this movie. Teens? I believe........ okay, you get the picture. It's a FUNNY MOVIE!! Youth minister Pastor Steve (Played by actor/writer Thor Ramsey in Fool Me Once, The Nose Job, Skip Listening.) just wants to teach the Gospel with no gimmicks. No stunts. Where Pastor Steve wants to connect with people and the old fashioned way; Pastor Skip (Michael Monks actor/director, known for End of Watch, Street Kings and Garfield) is 100% a showman. He wants pizzazz, he wants WOW! He gets a little caught up in the 'SHOW' instead of the word.  Then we have to add in Tino (Joey Fatone is singer, dancer, actor, and television personality. Best known as a member of the boyband NSYNC) Tino. OH MY GOODNESS!! I really think everyone has a Tino in there life. He is hysterical in this movie. Now, we have two characters that are very subtly Good vs Evil. (That's my take-a-way!) Chad (played by Stephan Baldwin, actor and producer, known for The Usual Suspects, Bio-Dome and The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas) My personal thoughts are Chad is an angel.  Dead pan serious and just KNOWS stuff. Valentines Day Reminder! ForEver In My Heart Locket #Giveaway

Motivation. Beautiful Motivation!! #auratenyc

Ohhhhhhhhhh Oh yes! THE NON is giddy!! I have (yes! AGAIN!!) treated myself to a gorgeous piece of jewelry!! After all, us girls gotta spoil themselves! It keeps us sane! During Covid I decided that if I have to stay home I may as well work on me. So, treadmill, sit-ups, crunches and trying very hard not to eat every thing in my path. (I know you are wondering, what on earth does this have to do with jewelry!?! I'm gettin' there, hang on.) I decided to find a "YOU DID IT" gift to give to myself. My first choice was a gold collar necklaces. LOVE 'em! L.O.V.E T.H.E.M!!  Ohhhhhhmmmmgeeeeeeeee, the collar necklace popped up and my eyes locked on a beautiful, delicate, diamond necklace.  IN MY FAVORITE setting!! Bezel setting!!! Yes, I am feeling very spoiled. I worked hard to lose 54 pounds! (I know... AGAIN??) I still have 15 to go, I had lost my mojo, but I have to admit I'm feeling a little motivated again with my new necklace.   I believe us women have to spoil ourselves! Happy New Year little Peanuts! Wooooohooooo GOODBYE 2020!! I am racking my brain trying to have any kind of an update for my giveaway post. Man 2020 really screwed things up, right?!? Faith Under Fire Movie Review #FaithUnderFireMIN

A movie with Kevin Sorbo AND Dean Cain? Well, of course you can count me in! Faith Under Fire I don't know if you've seen previews or not, personally, it's a title I hadn't ever heard of. However, since I am a huge fan of Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain I was excited to settle in for movie night. I have to admit this movie didn't seem to be a big budget film.  It did still keep us entertained. The main character (a fireman) is introduced at the beginning of the movie with a house fire.  Talk about an intense beginning! Not only did my eyes water up but my heart stopped! What better way to show the power of Faith and prayer than a fireman saving a child from a burning building? Fireman do they ever get enough credit? I can't even imagine what it takes to run into a burning building. This particular fireman goes through so many heartaches, trials and tribulations. I can completely understand why his faith was under fire. If I were in his shoes I would have the same reactions. Kevin Sorbo plays a Christian doctor, one that isn't afraid to acknowledge the God factor.  I don't know that there are many doctors that will even admit they believe? Dean Cain plays a Pastor. Dean Cain has always struck me a caring person. (I mean, not like I KNOW him..... just seen enough movies, THAT is what makes me an expert) Cain makes a very believable Pastor. Who doesn't love a truly good set of ear buds?? I use ear buds A LOT!! From my daily treadmill time to my hikes around the mountain.
