Nico's not a stalker, but I definitely would say he's one of those kids who's got a terrible habit of being in the room but hardly BEING there. You know? Like, sometimes he'll be passing by in New Rome and hear a particularly interesting conversation, maybe it's important, maybe it's not, but he's definitely listening in either way. He could even hide in the shadows just to follow it if he had no where else to be. Don't tell me that little fella doesn't have an issue with being eerily silent in his steps, just enough that it scares the shit out of Percy every now and then when he realizes that, holy fuck, you're there too. Something like this.

And it's just, he gets a teensy bit giddy at the thought, because who wouldn't? The amount of adults who he's managed to spook just by doing something out of habit? It's the same way he used to follow Bianca around in the Lotus Casino, the same way he followed Maria around as a kid, too. He's just there. He's even gotten Jason ONCE before the Cupid scene. Poor guy never recovered.

His feelings of alienation lead to years of self sabotage and isolation. His will to help his friends is enough to get him through Tartarus. Not only that but also carrying an insanely large statue half way across the globe. His trauma literally manifested into living creatures. He is so full of passion, so full of love for his friends and family, getting him through the toughest of trails
