Okay so I feel like I need to come back to this… Nothing has changed or happened since this post I just sort of feel the need to talk more about it.

I feel like I can see someone and be like wow they’re pretty attractive! and stuff but like at the same time… I don’t know if I’m capable of feeling a real romantic love towards someone. Maybe that’s because I’ve never tried to? Does it just happen?? 

Like I feel like most people will see someone attractive and due to that get a “crush” on them… but is that not just being attracted to them? Then said person would probably just try talking to them to pursue a relationship with them. So like does romantic love come after??? Am I looking too much into this like do people not really feel anything towards people and jump into it. I was recently thinking about what I’d do if someone came up to me and asked for my number (which will probably never happen but still) and even if I was attracted to them idk what I’d do. Because like I feel like since I don’t know if I’m even capable of romantic love would that be leading them on?… idk…

watching shows or reading books with cute relationships makes me kind of envious when at the same time I haven’t had any real crushes on anyone irl. Like I don’t know if it’ll never happen or if I just need to wait or whatever but I feel like it would only be able to be someone who fits me perfectly and I don’t know if I’d ever find that, I don’t know if I’d ever be able to actually be in love with someone either. It makes me sort of sad… I don’t know if I actually am aromantic or what but I haven’t really been labeling it because I guess I’m open to whatever ends up happening in life.

It makes me so, so angry when I see those posts that are like "HORRIFYING EARLY PLASTIC SURGERY RESULTS FROM WW2," because all of those lists are full of images that aren't the final result and are used for pure shock value. Harold Gillies, who performed most of those surgeries, was an incredibly talented surgeon. Here are some images of the full results of his surgeries.

I need to emphasize that I can't post the "before" pictures that go with these because the men did not have faces. The injuries were so extensive that these men were missing nearly all of their facial features, and through cutting-edge techniques that "looked scary" at the time (e.g. extensive skin grafts), Gillies saved these men from a medical nightmare.

Gillies performed the world's first ftm bottom surgery for trans man Michael Dillon and pioneered mtf bottom surgery! Respect his legacy.

Hello Darlings! A quick announcement

I am Julio, a... system mate of Mystery. Unfortunately our AC is completely broken and needs to be replaced, and we live in a dreadfully hot state. Mystery will be out sparingly because of this, xir sensory issues are quite severe and xey wouldn't be quite as efficient as xey usually are.

Unfortunately the only other asexual in our system is unable to work for ace-culture-is, so I do apologize for our quite abrupt intermission, and hopefully Mystery will be brought back to the stage sooner rather than later.
