public libraries are so sick. there are five books I want to read and they're all relatively new so they're only available in hardback which is so expensive but it just cost me $0 to place holds on them. five books for zero dollars. it requires nothing but clicking a button and then going to the library to pick them up when they're ready. zero dollars. that's crazy

Richard Armitage & Co. Writing Event 2k24!

Hello, Hello, Hello! I’m so excited to announce this years RA Writing Event! Time has flown by, and though we missed a few years, we're finally back on track! Phew, life can be so busy and full of surprises! I hope you guys are excited, this year is gonna be a challenge!

Through the month of May, you will have the opportunity to write a fic based off of an assigned topic according to each day of the month.

For the first time, there will be three days at the end of the month that will be challenge days. These days will have concepts that will be difficult to write for, so good luck ;) There is no word count limit! The only limit is your imagination! Let's get started with the rules of the event!

You have free will on what character you wish to write for, but they MUST be a character that Richard has portrayed or be Richard himself. Note: You do NOT have to stick with one character for the event. It's completely okay to be fluid with the characters for the duration of the event!

Any genre/rating is allowed, but you must tag any triggers that you include in the work. If the work includes or alludes erotica, please tag it as such.

Each work must include or pertain to the topic or theme for the day! If it does not, your entry will not be featured within daily entry reblogs.

There is no word limit for these works nor word miminum! Write as little or as much as you would like!

You may write these as reader inserts or OC inserts. Please make sure to tag the works accordingly to however you write them. You may alternate with an OC or reader insert for the prompts. They do not all have to be one or the other!

You must have a masterlist ready so that it may be linked in the event participant masterlist, which will help make your works accessible for future readers!

Absolutely anybody can join, whether they are following me or not. Make sure to tag me in your work, however, as well as send me a dm so I can include you in the roster!

finally finished my entry for @lorbalith ’s beautiful dtiys challenge on ig!! congrats on over 7k now!!💕💕

this was really fun, i haven’t drawn any fanart for the hobbit/lotr before even tho i love them a lot! for a first attempt i don’t hate their designs completely tho i will probably change them up a bit in the future (i made bilbo look so young here but was too lazy to change it)

Tony saved Bucky?

Many people think that Tony wanted to kill Bucky in that bunker in Civil War. But not many watched the movie frame by frame. Look at this:

Did Tony just save Bucky from the falling structure? This is STRANGE, isn’t it? Let’s take a closer look:

Tony is punching Bucky. The structure is falling on them.

They noticed it.

Tony turns back to Bucky.

And throws him away from the falling metal.

While Tony stays there and gets pinned by the rubble.

Well, looks like he indeed saved him by throwing him aside and took the hit himself instead. Strange move for a guy who wants to kill.
