everyone who is a citizen needs to know about the Constitution and it's role. As I said, it is a document of four and by the people. Everyone has a responsibility to participate. And participation requires knowledge of how it works. Voting shouldn't be a popularity contest it should be based on people's knowledge of how a candidate will operate. A person needs to know fundamentally what their rights are. And the most important thing is that people need to understand and realize that the constitution was a document set out to restrict government, not the people.

it most certainly does not require a higher education. All it requires is a basic knowledge of how the Constitution works. We are a nation that is supposed to be of for and by the people. Ergo, all you need is someone who knows how the Constitution is laid out and what it's functionality is supposed to be in order to govern. The idea that you need some form of higher education to govern effectively is elitism at its finest. It's a system whereby the elites get to say no, you don't know what you need or what's best for you, sit back shut up and let us do it for you. In short, the modern Democrat party. Everyone can and should be involving governance with a basic elementary level education which should have covered everything about the founding documents in history and civics.

on the contrary, I very much made a point. At that point is that the teaching of civics belongs from first grade through the final year of high school which are publicly funded. Anything beyond that is not publicly funded, a personal choice, and if must be paid for on a loan is the responsibility of the loan signer. The fact that you didn't recognize this means that you are being deliberately obtuse, or worse, you really are that obtuse.

They have been responsible for a great deal of time for dumbing down American education and shifting focus from things like civics and constitutional government to things like gender studies. functional government can be obtained by teaching people civics in elementary school which is already taxpayer funded. Higher education is not for everyone, and is there for a choice. It costs money to attend. If you cannot afford that money, do not take out loans you cannot repay

No, the point of the post was to accuse Christians of hypocrisy.

But the post is, itself, hypocritical.
