Penny began to eat cereals that her father had put in its milk ... But her thoughts were elsewhere, in truth, she was not very hungry this morning. The only thing she wanted more than anything today was to stay at home ... She looked at her dog who drank water and was eating some kibbles. Penny puts her elbows on the table and took her bowl to drink the rest of the milk.

"Thanks Dad, did you saw my new clothes? "She gets up  euphoric and moves to the center of the room and turns on herself," How do you like my new dress? Is it that not the color is not wonderful ? "She looks at her father and looks forward to his response. "Come on Dad, how can you put so much time to respond to a simple question? Please, tell me if you think I'm beautiful into my new clothes ?"she said with her small voice, the innocent smile.

"Mom, I do not want to go to school because I'm sure all my friends will laugh at me, my hair are really too short and all my girlfriends have long hair, I do not want to be heckled all the day. Please mom. I want to stay home, "she said with a pout at make melt her parents.

The Beginning of the End || Philip & Penny Blake

Penny had just awakened her dog had come to her and lick her face … “Hey what are you doing here, you know very well that Daddy does not like that you to come into my room because of your  bristles that you lose, and you should in the future you to remember that, I am a little allergic to them ‘she said, gently tapping his little snout, before making him a kiss on the nose. “Now gets out of my bed before that Dad scolds me and locked you, out in the garage, I have to get ready to go to school”

Penny gets up, grabs her clothes and goes to the bathroom to wash before going down for breakfast … Her dog follows her, she laughs …. She hears her mom, to ask her,  to come to lunch"Yes, mom I’ll be right there in a few minutes. I am going to put my clothes, I’m almost ready» she said of her little voice…

In less time than expected, Penny was ready … She went downstairs and joined her parents in the kitchen. “Good morning, mom, good morning, dad,” she said, going to each of them and their makes a kiss on the cheek. “It’s you, daddy who bring me to school this morning ? "Penny sits  down at table facing her father and poured cereal and milk into her bowl, and starts to drink her orange juice. She looks at her mother "You’re very beautiful, mom this morning. What are you going to do today? "She asked smiling. She looks at her father and smiled "You’re handsome you too, Dad, of course,”

Penny eats fast because she knows she does not have much time, “Mom, I did not want to go to school today, I would stay with you, is it I can ? ” she asked, wrapping her long hair between her fingers

A day like any others with#merle--dixon (closed Rp)

There was first the death of her mother and now it was chaos, the walkers were everywhere and had invaded the cities and countryside. People were more free to do what they want, they had to hole up behind high walls, and move constantly in search of supplies like food and various things for themselves and for their community, always to watch closely, their weapons in hand, ready to shoot on the first walkers in front of them

Penny was the beloved daughter of Philip Blake, the Governor of the city of Woodbury, she was pampered and protected and even we can say brood, by her father, since that her mother had died in a car accident,  few years ago.

Penny was now a young girl. She was a reserved girl, quiet, gentle and shy who constantly lived in fear of walkers.

She is rarely output outside  of the appartment where she lived with her father, she preferred using to remain cloistered in her room alone … It was the only place she felt good and safe

Today, Her father the Governor Blake and her uncle Brian had been on an expedition outside from Woodbury in search of new pieces for the boiler and food for the city, Philip had left the care of his beloved daughter to his faithful henchman, Merle Dixon, doing to swear him in front of god to take care of it as the apple of his own eyes for fear of being cut to pieces by Brian and Philip if anything happened to Penny during their absence.

While Penny was asleep in her room and that men were on the walls to protect the city, a horde of walkers was arriving right on them

It had been like any ordinary day for Philip and like most, he had taken it for granted. Pulling himself out of bed he made his way down to the kitchen to pull out a cereal box out of the cabinet along with a bowl and dumped some of the contents in the bowl and put the box away and continued over to the fridge to fetch some milk when he heard his wife Sarah walk into the kitchen.

“Are you taking Penny to school today?” she asked, coming over to kiss him on the cheek and glanced at what Philip was having.

“Oh, is that my turn again?” he teased with a smile. “Of course. I would love too.” Out of everything in his life, Penny was the only think that he had ever done right and he was more that proud of his little pride and joy. “Where’s the dog? Shouldn’t we let him outside?”

“I think that he’s up in Penny’s room.” she said, looking through the opening. “Penny, come on down and get you something to eat before daddy takes you to school, sweetie!” she called up to her.
