Summary:

At sixteen, Ben talked Juno into helping him learn a dance for a talent show, hoping to impress a crush. Seven years later, those dance moves come in handy for Juno at the Vixen Valley, where he has been trying to run away from everything he's lost.

Notes:

I love that this PCC prompt allowed me to write about two of my favorite eras of Juno that I haven't gotten to explore much in fic, teenage scoundrel Juno and mid-twenties self-destructive at the Vixen Valley Juno. Those two stages of Juno's life are the two narrators of this story so brace yourself for some canon-compliant self-loathing from our lady.

Nureyev: It is frightening, yes. But that doesn't stop you. I think I respect that about you a great deal.

Perhaps what I'm trying to say is... I feel rather vulnerable around you. And it is a difficult time for me to feel vulnerable. If I have taken that out on you, I am genuinely very sorry.

I'm glad you're here. I don't think I could have made it through everything without you.
