- Echo still can't sleep well. He either suffers from insomnia, or from pain, or from nightmares.

- When Echo has nightmares, he hides his face in his pillow. Nobody really knows why. Everyone agreed that he doesn't realize where he is when he sleeps, which means that he cannot feel safe.

- Actually, it's true. But deep down, Echo also doesn't want anyone to see him like this - trembling and crying.

- PTSD is a topic that no one brings up. He is afraid of medical equipment, syringes, droppers, droids... The creak of a rubber glove is worse than death.

- No matter how strong he may seem, the complexes follow him like a shadow. Echo hates each of his implants, he is annoyed by the reflection in the mirror. Whitened skin, dark circles around the eyes, gray-yellow iris. "Looks like I'm dead," he jokes. But everyone knows that this is not a joke.

- Hunter says being able to kick someone with an iron foot is cool. Omega sometimes sticks stickers on prostheses. Echo is still beautiful no matter what he thinks.

- Even if he can't convince himself of this, Echo remains incredibly grateful to the guys for their support. He removes the stickers only when they are completely worn out.

- Omega will always find more.

- Wrecker always succumbs to him in arm wrestling. He is definitely a great actor. Echo still didn't quite understand. Yes, definitely.

- Echo sleeps peacefully when someone hugs him. This duty, without any hesitation, took Tech.

- Sometimes it happens that they stop somewhere to rest a little, and then it happens that the team has to be woken up in the morning, otherwise they can oversleep until the evening. Of course, this is what Echo does. He turns up his favorite songs so that they can be heard throughout the Marauder.

Bonus: Echo was the first person Crosshair not only allowed himself to hug, but hugged back.

You know that opening scene in The Outpost? When Cross is hanging by the ship, casually smoking his smoke, all out of uniform, just silently observing everyone?

And then that officer asshole walks up to him and says ‘CT 9904’ and Cross doesn’t even bother to turn his head and look at him? And when he finally does he looks so unbothered?

Yeah, he was so punk-rock there.

Thoughts on TBB finale - spoilers, obviously:

Heartbroken, obviously. I was so worried for Crosshair that it didn’t even cross my mind some other tragedy might occur.

However it does make sense - narratively. The way they’ve been developing his character this season, giving him more voice, more experience, more focus… yeah, it makes sense. Story wise.

I do believe that he is dead. Dead dead. I do acknowledge people came back in Star Wars after being cut in half and in the middle of an explosion, but that is not the point or something to compare this to. It’s how he died. It was heroic. He sacrificed himself so that the others could escape and live. You don’t write a death like that with the most heartbreaking music in the background, only to be oh nevermind that didn’t really happen, all good. Narratively, it doesn’t make sense. You don’t do that to a hero. Also, the fact that Echo came back after being presumed dead - no sane writer would have two main characters share the same destiny like that. You just don’t do that. I’m sorry if this is harsh. I’m heartbroken, but realistic.

However, the goggles are interesting. The fact that they found them. That means they probably found his body too - and Hemlock being a scientist with no regards for morals who works in a cloning facility, brings some thoughts. I think what might happen is that they will try to clone Tech. I don’t know if they will succeed and if they do, what that would mean, but I think a guy like him wouldn’t miss an opportunity like that. I think perhaps that’s what their research is about - cloning a dead person. Perhaps that’s what Nala Se said was not possible - at that point anyway, since I guess they managed to do it, since, well, the Emperor…

All in all, these last three episodes have been literal masterpieces. Everything about them. The stakes, the tension, the execution, animation, music, action, emotions, acting… I really can’t praise it enough. I had my issues with some episodes this season and the general pacing of the story, but it’s all about the exit. It’s how you leave the stage that counts and sticks with the audience.

And they crushed it. They left us hungry for more, angry, emotional and invested. Don’t remember when was the last time I was this affected by a tv show. I’m so glad they exist and that I’m a fan.

Also, heartbroken. And can’t wait for s3.

Hours before TBB finale and I realised something. If they wanted to kill Crosshair off they wouldn’t have put him through everything they’ve put him through in these last couple of episodes.

The only reason to have him suffer and go through everything he went through in these last couple of episodes is because they want to redeem him. We can’t ‘just’ forgive him all that horrible stuff he’s done, and let’s face it he did do some pretty horrible stuff. No, he has to pay for his sins, before he can be forgiven. It’s a classical storytelling, really.

There, I can breathe now! Phew!

I’m calling it now - Plan 99 will be about saving Crosshair. They are Clone Force 99, so it makes perfect sense that Plan 99 is a code for saving/ retrieving one member / or several members of the squad. It must be a code for their team. The sanctity of their team.

I HAVE to believe this to be the case because I simply cannot deal with the alternative.

He will be saved. He will be fine.

A little sore and tired, sure, but FINE!

I don't think the fandom as a collective will ever get past Crosshair and Mayday shivering violently as they huddle for warmth in the middle of a snowstorm.

My heart is broken beyond repair.
