Being in love with Minho was hard. Unfortunately, it was a hardship you had been dealing with for a while now. He was everything to you, your best friend, your soulmate even, although he would always say that soulmates don’t actually call each other that.
The moment you finally realised you were in love with Lee Minho, the two of you were nursing hangovers, a bowl of sundaeguk steaming your face. You had both finally graduated from University, the same place you had met almost 4 years ago. He had finally introduced himself to you after sitting next to you every Tuesday at 9am, after the professor had introduced the fact that group work was required for a project. You hadn’t even heard him speak up until that point, you were kinda beginning to think that was a figment of your imagination until he spoke.
A year later he told you that he decided to sit next to you because you were the first person who seemed ‘normal’ when he first entered and looked around the room. This confession, of course, had the two of you in fits of giggles at how neither of you turned out to be normal. You had realised you both shared a passion for dance despite your degree studying computer science and had even attended each other's dance showcases and competitions, watching him dance was like nothing else. The way he moved with such practiced precision was so captivating, that it was almost impossible to ever look away.
Beyond that, he was the kindest person you knew. He cared in ways that you had never expected of him. When your boyfriend cheated on you in the summer between years 2 and 3, he showed up to your apartment with kind words and snacks, and he did your dishes for you and even ironed your shirt for work the next day so that you could cry.
Back to the sundaeguk. It was still steaming.
The glint in his eye as he threw his head back giggling at some stupid joke you made you realise. It made you realise a lot of things actually.
“What happens now?” you ask.
“I don’t know about you but I’m gonna eat this,” he says pointing at his bowl with the chopsticks in his hand.
“No, I mean, now that we’ve graduated.”
He stops mid sausage-to-mouth and blinks at you.
“We get… jobs, I guess.” The sausage reaches his mouth. You laugh. You let the moment pass.
A month later you’re at a party, he asked you to be his plus one to the after-party of one of his dance shows and you’re talking to one of the other members of the choreography team. She tells you how Minho talks about you and has such admiration for you. When Minho waves at you from across the room, she asks you how you’re not dating. You manage to ramble off something about just being close friends but even you don’t fully believe it. You don’t want this night to end the way it always did. He walks you home, you hold his arm, you let go, and you both say good night.
You watch him from across the room, the room blaring with music, the sound of voices almost competing. He’s beautiful, you know that, everyone who has ever met him knows that. He’s talking to a friend, one you vaguely recognise, and you feel a pang in your chest, a feeling of impending doom. There’s a fear in your heart that something will take him from you, a job, a person, you don’t know, but you need him to stay with you. You need him.
You finish the drink in your hand and put the empty glass back on the table. You excuse yourself from the group and walk over to him. He notices you and his smile grows wide.
“Hey! I was just talking about you.” He’s grinning as he says it.
“Only good things I hope.” You raise your eyebrows.
“Of course.”
“Can I talk to you for a second?” you turn a little more serious for a moment. He excuses himself from his friend and the two of you walk outside into the quiet of the night, the cool summer air refreshing.
“Are you okay?” he asks, a hint of concern showing in his eyes.
“Yeah, I was just thinking about things.” you sigh.
“Oh, that’s never good.”
“I was thinking about you, dumbass.” You roll your eyes.
“Okay, now I’m interested,” he smirks.
You pause as you look at him. You spare a moment thinking of what to say, and how he’ll react, will he accept or reject you? You don’t know. The only thing you do know is Lee Minho, you know him as if you are him, as if you’re connected somehow. You feel like this is already written for you.
“I love you,” you say. He blinks.
“I love you too.”
“No, like, I love you Minho. More than just besties.”
“But if we date, who will be my bestie?” Of course, he jokes. Of course, you laugh.
“You’d have to find a new one.” You giggle.
“Well, looks like I’ll have to get started then.” He leans into you. “I wasn’t kidding,” he says in a softer, quieter voice. “I do love you.”
Being in love with Minho was suddenly so easy, but it always was.

Together - Bang Chan x Reader

pairing: Bang Chan x F!Reader
tags: angst with hopeful/good ending, mentions of not eating, felix swears a LOT
req? nope! this was based off of a day dream lol
wc: 1,853
Chan hasn't left his studio in a while, time to send in the big guns.
“Hyung, I’m just saying, you should come get lunch with us, this can wait.” Jisung shuffles back and forth on his feet, glancing sideways at Changbin who has a sort of grimace on his face.
“I said no.” Chan doesn’t even bother looking up at them now and Jisung doesn’t remember the last time he received eye contact from the man sitting at the desk.
“When was the last time you took a break?” Changbin tries, gently. He watches Chan glance toward the clock.
“Uh, three? Yeah…” Chan trails off. Jisung and Changbin let out a sigh in tandem, that was five hours ago.
For whatever reason, Chan has essentially locked himself in the 3RACHA studio for the past month. He hardly leaves, even to get food, let alone rest. The members have been trying their best to keep him alive by bringing him calorie-dense shakes and various takeout and snacks, although some of it goes untouched. No one knows how it got this bad, or even what caused his mindset to shift like this. He’s clearly not coping, but at the same time, no one can get through to him. Not even you, his girlfriend, his so-called soulmate.
Of course, you knew about the situation, you were one of the first to pick up on his behaviour: coming home later and later, skipping meals to spend more time working, and even working a lot more at home. You always encouraged Chan to leave it at the front door as much as possible, because believe it or not this isn’t the first time it's happened, but it’s never lasted this long.
Jisung and Changbin leave, unsuccessful for the fourth time this week. They’re getting worried, he’s lost some weight and to put it nicely, he looks like shit. They decide to call you.
You’re in the kitchen washing up when you see your phone light up, with a picture of Jisung filling the screen. You dab your fingers on a tea towel and, shove the phone in between your ear and shoulder.
“Hey Ji, what’s up?”
“Hey Y/N, are you busy?” You hear the slight concern lacing his voice, you think you already know what this is about.
“Not particularly, just tidying up.” You dry your hands properly and grab your phone.
“Good, uh, it’s about Chan.”
“Ah.”
“Yeah, Changbin and I tried to get him out, he’s been here since yesterday.” Hearing that broke your heart a little.
“Want me to try?” you sigh doubtful that you’d get through to him either.
“Would you?” Jisung asks.
“Of course, I’ll be there in twenty,” you say. Ending the call with Jisung, you quickly gather your things to leave. Sure enough, you make it to the JYPE building no more than twenty minutes later, and you find Changbin and Jisung in the corridor leading to the 3racha studio. After some words of encouragement and a pat on the shoulder from Changbin, you knock and enter the studio.
Your heart twinges when you see him, it’s only been a few days since you saw him, but the time apart makes the difference more noticeable. He looks hollow and a little sunken in, with dark bags underneath lifeless eyes. You walk up to him silently, his back to you, and you reach out, putting your hands on his shoulders.
Startling a little, he looks back at you, relaxing again when he realises it’s just you. He surprises you by taking his headphones off, although his gaze returns to the screens in front of him.
“Hi, baby,” you breathe out into his hair, kissing just above his forehead.
“Hey.”
It’s not much of a response.
“Chan, will you turn around and look at me?”
To your surprise, he listens and spins around to you in his chair. He looks like Hell, but he’s still your Chan, all his soft features looking like they’ve been put through it. You crouch down to his level.
“You need to come home, baby.” You reach out and grab his hands to keep him from moving immediately.
“Why?” He squints.
“Chan, you know why.” When he doesn’t respond, you continue.
“You’re not okay, I haven’t seen you in almost a week. The boys are worried about you, I’m worried about you,” you say, gently.
“I’m fine,” he huffs.
“Baby, you know that’s not true. Chan, please, talk to me.” You squeeze his hands. Momentarily he glances down at your intertwined fingers, and you find yourself hoping for a second.
“I said I’m fine, you should leave, Y/N.” He lets go. Before he gets the chance to turn around, you grab the edges of his chair.
“No, Chan, we spoke about this. I can’t sit here and watch you do this to yourself.”
“Do what?” he huffs, rolling his eyes.
“I don’t know, whatever this is.” You gesture wildly into the space between you. He’s quiet for a few moments.
“So, what? What are you gonna do?”
“I’ll leave,” you say, shakily.
“So leave then,” he spits at you, turning back to his desk.
“Chris, you don’t get it. I will leave.” you pause, staring into the back of his head as if you could scream directly into his mind.
“If I walk out of here, this is the last time you’ll see me.”
You watch as he pauses his typing, tensing in his seat.
“Fine, leave.” He turns his head to send you a glare.
“I don’t want to.” You strain, frustrated.
“You clearly do! Stop pretending you know what’s good for me! You have no idea what’s going on.” His voice is raising in volume now.
“Chan! Why are you acting like this?” You begin to feel tears gathering behind your eyes.
“Just leave Y/N, get out.”
“You’re willing to lose me?” You choke back a sob. He doesn’t reply.
“Fine, I get it, I’ll leave you alone. I wish you the best Chan, I really do.”
The corridor of the JYP building is a blur after you leave the studio, Changbin and Jisung never left, so they catch you. You manage to get out enough words to get the point across and they both try their best to comfort you. Changbin offers to drive you home and you accept. The drive is quiet and he lets you cry it out.
All of a sudden the music on the radio pauses as Changbin’s phone begins to ring, his dashboard showing Felix’s name. Changbin looks over at you.
“Go ahead.” You faintly smile, your head resting on the plush leather.
“Hey, Felix.”
“Hey Hyung, where are you? You were meant to meet me at the dance studio twenty minutes ago.” You hear Felix’s deep voice resonate through the car speakers.
“Yeah, sorry about that, I’m giving Y/N a ride home. I forgot to text, my bad,” Changbin says.
“Y/N?” he asks.
“Hi, Felix,” you croak.
“Hey, what’s happened? Why isn’t Chan driving her?”
“Chan and I broke up, I think,” you say into the car.
“What the Hell? What happened?” Felix’s voice sounds just as confused as you feel.
“I’ll explain later, lix, I gotta go,” Changbin speaks up. They share a quick goodbye and he hangs up, just as you turn onto your street.
“I’m sorry about everything, Y/N.” Changbin pulls up outside your apartment building.
“It’s not your fault, Bin. I didn’t want this to happen, but I also can’t watch him slowly destroy himself, y’know?” Your tears have dried up for now.
Changbin nods and you thank him for the ride, exiting the car and heading straight up to your apartment to collapse in bed.
Felix sprints up the three flights of stairs and two corridors that separate him from the 3racha studio, where he knows Chan will be.
Not even bothering to knock, he throws open the door and stomps towards Chan, ripping the pair of headphones off his head. Chan startles but quickly regains some semblance of composure the second Felix speaks.
“Are you going to explain what the fuck has happened?” Felix sounds angry. Chan looks up.
“What are you on about?” Chan asks, attempting to brush off the thing he knows is coming.
“Don’t play fucking dumb with me. What did you do to Y/N?”
“I didn’t do anything, she was the one who left me!” Chan’s voice beginning to raise in defense.
“Oh my god, Chan, get your head out of your ass. She loves you, she wouldn’t just leave.” Felix’s voice strains.
“Felix, you don’t know what’s going on.” Chan attempts to dismiss him.
“Fuck off, Chris. You know that’s bullshit. You need to listen to me.” Felix grabs him by each shoulder forcing him to look him in the eyes, blinking like a mouse caught in a trap.
“Chris, you’re right, I don’t know what’s going on in your head, but I do know something. You’re a complete and total idiot if you’re gonna let Y/N leave. She loves you and is worried about you, we all are. We all care about you so much, we just want to help, but we can’t if you won’t let us. I know you, so I know you will absolutely regret whatever the fuck it is that you’re doing. So, I need you to do me a favour, just one thing, please.” Felix pauses, taking a deep breath. He can see the cogs slowly beginning to turn in Chan’s head.
“Chris, you need to snap out of this and get the hell out of this studio. Right now.”
You awoke to the sound of frantic knocking at your front door. In a daze, you made it to the peephole. You’re surprised to see Felix, but you quickly unlock it and swing the door open.
“Felix? What are you doing here?” Your voice comes out hoarser than you had wanted.
“Give him Hell,” Felix says, before grabbing something to the right of him, his hand reappearing holding the disheveled body of your boyfriend. Chan stumbles into view and is ultimately pushed over the threshold of your apartment. Felix quickly takes off. Even more dazed than before, you close the front door and lock it, elongating the task as long as possible before you’d have to turn around and face him.
When you turn around, you’re caught in a trap. Staring into each other's eyes, both unmoving, silent. God knows how long it lasts but eventually Chan opens his mouth.
“So are you going to give me hell?”
You laugh.
You actually let out something that resembles a laugh, but partially also a sob.
“I want to, but I’m honestly too happy to see you out of that studio.”
He laughs.
You break, walking over to him, wrapping your arms around his middle. His arms wrap around your shoulders instinctively, and you breathe in the deep warmth of your boyfriend. The familiarity and comfort you feel in his embrace almost makes you laugh, for how could you ever leave this man so easily? Of course, you knew you had mostly been lying when you said it. With time, and the right communication, you’d get past it. Together.

A week. It’s now been a whole week since you’ve directly spoken to each other. With both of you being so stubborn to admit that either side was wrong, this was inevitable. You and Jisung had argued over something -not that either of you could remember what it was- and were now giving each other the silent treatment. To the outside it looked hilarious, the two of you living together, in the same apartment, sleeping in the same bed, and cooking meals for each other, but in silence. You’re mainly surprised that either of you could stay quiet for this long.
It all came to a final boiling point one night when you were kept for an extra hour at work. Usually, you would’ve texted Jisung to let him know you’d be home late but with the way things were going, you hadn’t. You hadn’t even checked your phone after you finished the shift, too tired to bother checking, so you’re caught off guard when you’re met with Jisung immediately at the front door.
“Where have you been?” he asks in a rush.
“At work?” you’re tone, confused. You watch as his shoulders relax and he lets out a long sigh.
“Why didn’t you respond to my texts? My calls?” His eyes are still looking you over, checking everything is still in place.
“Oh, my phone’s in my bag, I was just so tired when I left, I didn’t bother.”
“I know we’re doing the whole ‘silent treatment’ thing, but can you at least tell me if you’re working late? I was about to call the police I swear…” he trails off, rubbing his forehead. You catch him off guard by snorting a laugh. His eyes snap back towards you.
“Seriously, you’re laughing? What if something were to happen to you, huh? You could’ve gotten hurt! Or went missing, or died or something! And I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if something bad happened to you.” his rambling speeds up and you think you can see his eyes watering slightly.
“Especially with how we’ve been this past week! What if you had died thinking I was mad at you?”
“Jisung.” You try but are immediately cut off.
“God knows you would have haunted me because of it, that’s how you get a poltergeist, you know.” He’s now pointing a finger at you. You grab the hand that’s reaching towards you and the contact seems to shut him up.
“Jisung, look at me. I’m here, completely fine,” you say gently. And that’s when the dam breaks. Tears spill from his eyes and he immediately melts into your arms, you catch him easily. He is mumbling all sorts of things: apologies, pleas, more apologies.
“Please don’t leave me. It’s okay if you’re still mad, just please don’t leave.” He heaves out. Your shirt is now a little damp, but you barely notice.
“Wait, baby, you thought I’d leave?” You ask him.
“Well, when you didn’t come back…” You look into his glossy eyes and feel your heart shatter into a million pieces. You immediately pull him into your chest, pulling him in as tightly as you could.
“Ji, I’m so sorry I worried you. I promise I would never leave like that, I’m not going anywhere, baby,” you talk into his hair. You stand in the entryway for a few minutes, soothing him gently, encouraging the tears to stop. He sniffles one last time and you use the sleeve of your sweater to dab his round cheeks dry.
“I’ve missed you.” You brush your fingers through his hair.
“I didn’t go anywhere.” he attempts a smile.
“Yeah, but I didn’t get to talk to you for a whole week,” you respond, attempting to lighten the mood.
“It was so hard, I have so many things to tell you.” he chuckles.
“How about we get all cuddled up in bed and you can tell me everything?” You ask.
“That sounds perfect.”
It isn’t until a few hours later that the argument was brought up again, and the both of you end up laughing, because you were right, neither of you could remember what it was about.

Bathroom Breakdown | Bang Chan x Reader

pairing: bang chan x fem!reader
tags: insecurity, comfort, fluff, chan is so sweet y'all, minor explicit language
requested? nope, this was all me baybee!
wc: 1,450
If you had to say, getting in your own head was probably your strongest skill. You do it a lot, more than most people, but the funniest thing is, you don’t even realise you’re doing it half of the time. The thoughts in your head are so common that you truly believe them now, they’re just facts!
The recent topic of discussion inside your brain has been your love life. Specifically, your wonderful boyfriend, Chan. He really is wonderful, he’s kind, generous, funny, smart, and handsome as hell. You consider yourself lucky to be his girlfriend for the past six months. Insecurity has been slowly eating you recently, gnawing at you in the back of your head. You know everything that it’s saying is wrong, and that he loves you, and he’s lucky to have you too, but there’s just something convincing you he’s lying, that one day he is going to turn around and decide to leave.
Sniffling, you fold up a wad of toilet paper and bring it to your face, wiping your eyes one last time. You throw it into the toilet from your place on the cold tile floor and grab onto the edge of the sink to help hoist yourself up. You see your reflection in the mirror and let out a long, shaky breath. You were seemingly done crying, using the last 45 minutes as a good release, and your legs wobbled as you stood.
You turned on the tap, feeling the cool water on your fingers. Gathering some water in your hands, you bring the coolness up to your face, gently pressing your face, and massaging around your eyes, attempting to wrangle the puffiness of your post-sob face. The cold water was refreshing and helped to bring you back to reality.
A few minutes later you were ready to face the world again, the world inside your apartment at least. Unlocking the bathroom door, you take one final deep breath. You swing the door open and nearly scream. There, leaning against the wall opposite, is Chan.
“Jesus Christ.” You clutch your chest.
“Sorry, I did text you but,” he trails off. Oh, right. You didn’t have your phone on you, you had left it in the living room.
“Oh, sorry, yeah, it’s in the other room. How long have you been here?” You ask. He must have let himself in with the spare key you had given him.
“Uh, not long, maybe 15 minutes?” He stands up, awkwardly. You think he’s lying to save you the embarrassment.
“Oh,” you say, neither of you really knowing where to go with this.
“I didn’t know you were coming.”
“Are you okay?”
You speak at the same time. Your eyes widen at his question, and you think for a second that you look like a deer in headlights.
“Ah, yeah, I got a free evening so thought I’d come over,” he explains. “But maybe I should’ve waited for a response.”
“No it’s okay, I was just, thinking too much.” You don’t know what to say. He opens his arms and you fall into them, wrapping around you gently.
“Do you wanna talk about it?” He speaks softly into your hair.
“I think I’d cry again.”
“That’s okay, you’re allowed to cry.”
You take a deep breath hearing his words and you feel everything coming back.
“Hey, let’s get you somewhere comfy first, sofa or bed?”
“Bed,” you mumble into his chest. He’s wearing a soft, black hoodie that smells just like him, the scent of his cologne faintly clinging to the material. With ease, he guides you to your bedroom, and you get into the safety of your covers. He excuses himself for a second, and leaves the room, returning a few minutes later with a few things. Your phone is one of them, your heart crying a little as you read his texts from earlier on the lock screen. He climbs into bed next to you and gets comfy. You keep him at a distance, thinking it would be better to put space between yourself. He insists on at least holding your hand.
“Okay, tell me everything.”
“I’m just feeling insecure. It’s stupid, but I can’t stop thinking about it. I feel like I don’t deserve any of this.” You begin to put it into words.
“This?” he asks, gently.
“You, Chan. I don’t deserve you, and I know I do, I know you’ll say I do, but my brain is so good at convincing me, and I don’t know how to get her to shut up. Like, I look in the mirror and I don’t understand why you love me, like look at you, you’re perfect, I’m not.” You see his eyebrows furrow but you don’t give him a chance to say anything.
“I just feel so fundamentally unlovable, which is stupid, but there’s just something in my head. And I’m so scared, I’m scared that I let you in fully, and get so comfortable with you, and one day you decide I’m too much, or not enough, or too weird, or too something, and you leave me for some stupid or shallow reason that I was a fool to think wouldn’t happen.” The tears are flowing now, not as hard as before but you wipe at them. You’re no longer looking at Chan, but down at your hands where your fingers are pulling threads from the bed sheets.
“So I guess my head has just decided that you’re better off without me, and I want to disagree so badly, but she’s so fucking convincing, Chan, I’m sorry.” You wipe at your tears roughly, but Chan quickly replaces your hands with his own, taking your face in his hands gently. His thumbs are wiping at the tears still slowly falling.
“Hey, it’s okay. Just breathe.” You do as he says, and your tears begin to slow down even more.
“Can I say something?” Chan says after a minute. You nod, preparing for the worst.
“I’m not going anywhere.”
Your eyes look up and meet his, a look of sincerity in his own glassy eyes.
“I could never leave you, not as easy as you seem to think. No part of you could be too much or too little, or too anything for me. I love you. I love all of you. I love the parts of you I’ve seen, and I can’t wait to see the parts I haven’t seen yet so that I can love them too. I know this isn’t easy, I feel the same things sometimes, but you just have to believe me, and if you ever doubt me, I will fight you.” He ends with a chuckle.
“Okay?” He runs his fingers through your hair gently. You nod, smiling.
“Also, who are you to decide who I love, hm?” he asks.
“An idiot,” you mumble, making him chuckle.
“I decide who I love, got it? I am choosing to love you.”
You nod your head, utterly defeated, and fall into his chest. He catches you swiftly, rubbing your back with one hand and petting your hair with the other. After a few minutes, you pop your head up to look at him. He looks at you questioningly.
“Be honest, how long were you here before I came out of the bathroom?”
“Oh, I, uh, think I heard most of it,” he says sheepishly. You groan, burying your face into his chest once more. You feel him laugh more than you hear it.
“Thank you,” you say.
“For what?”
“I don’t know…” you trail off. “Loving me? Letting me cry? Being here? Something like that.” You play with one of his hoodie strings, avoiding his intense stare.
“Something like that,” he repeats quietly, half chuckling at your words. “Of course, I'd do all those things, I love you.”
“I love you too,” you say, finally looking up at him. He’s smiling at you, eyes soft. You lean up and press a kiss to his soft lips. He accepts it, indulging you for a few seconds until he pulls back. You’re about to pout but he catches you off guard by planting kiss after kiss on your face. Your cheeks, nose, forehead, and finally your mouth once more. You’re giggling by the time he’s done, and he pulls back, eyes sparkling.
“Feeling any better?” he asks.
“No, I think I need one more.” You giggle up at him. He rolls his eyes but leans down, capturing your lips in a soft kiss that the both of you are smiling into. The kiss feels right, and for the first time in a little while, the voice in the back of your head is quiet.

Lion Tamer | Seo Changbin x Reader

pairing: seo changbin x fem!reader
tags: angst, miscommunication? a little suggestive at the end, like one swear word, good ending dw, other member makes an appearance
requested: yes!
wc: 1,130
Changbin is known for his short temper, that’s just a fact. He’s easily antagonised, resulting in some hilarious, unexpected, or very occasionally scary outbursts. He is quick to jump up or shout, and hard to calm down. Not many people have mastered the art of lion taming, but you? You’ve somehow perfected it. It wasn’t a conscious thing you did, but it seems you have some unseen power over him.
Your power was discovered by chance in the JYP dance studio. You had been invited along by your wonderful boyfriend who clearly just wanted to show off, knowing this you agreed anyway. You’d be a hypocrite not to indulge him a little bit, right?
During a 5-minute water break, a conversation had started up about shoes. Particularly, platforms. Now, everyone knows that Stray Kids aren’t exactly the tallest, your boyfriend being the shortest of them all, so you could already feel him become tense from his place next to you on the leather sofa.
“I don’t like them, they make me feel like my proportions are wrong,” Minho says from his place on the floor, flat on his back, limbs spread.
“I like them, our team needs them.” Felix contributes, resulting in a few laughs.
“Changbin maybe, I’d say the rest of us are fine.” Minho raises his head, smirking at Changbin.
“Hey! You’re not that much taller!”
“Yeah? Stand up.” Minho doesn’t move. Changbin takes the challenge, sputtering, and stands up. He goes to walk towards Minho who is still starfished, but you grab his hand.
“Sit down, Bin.” You chuckle. He stops in his tracks and plops down next to you immediately, holding your hand properly.
“Did you see that?” Hyunjin says, throwing his head back laughing.
“Yeah,” Jeongin speaks up. “Y/n has some serious powers.”
This results in some laughter around the room while Changbin looks at you, eyes creased with an open grin.
“How am I supposed to say no?” He chuckles, and takes your hand in both of his, squeezing it gently.
Your powers also work in more serious instances. Like the time Changbin thought you were cheating on him, accosting you the moment he got home from the studio.
“Y/n, you have some explaining to do,” he said, entering your shared living room where you had been sitting, peacefully reading.
“What?” you blinked up at him.
“Don’t play with me, I’m not stupid.”
“Bin, I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Sure you don’t, of course, you don’t.” He rolls his eyes, crossing his arms. If you weren’t so confused, you’d be ogling his arms in the tight black t-shirt he’s wearing.
“I really don’t. Can you tell me what I’ve apparently done?” You put your phone down next to you on the sofa.
“You know, if you wanted to break up with me, you should’ve just said something.” That shocked you into closing your mouth.
“If you wanted to see other people, I wouldn’t stop you. Well, I would, I’d definitely try but if you really wanted to break up I couldn’t stop you. I’d be pissed though because I love you so much and I thought our relationship was practically perfect. And we’re usually so good at communicating so I’m upset that you couldn’t just tell me what’s wrong, or what happened for you to have a change of heart. But seriously, a fucking soft launch on your insta? That’s just shitty.”
Soft launch? Insta? Oh.
You stand up, keeping a relaxed posture and facial expression.
“So are you going to leave? Because if you are, I want my hoodies back, especially the navy one, it’s my favourite one.” He’s slowly getting louder.
Honestly, he’s kind of cute when he’s ranting. You stifle a laugh, taking a step into his space.
“Oh, so you’re laughing at me now? Oh, yes! Let’s laugh at Changbin! Ha! Ha! Ha! So fun-”
You cut him off by grabbing the sides of his face and pulling him in for a kiss. His mouth doesn’t really react but his hands do instinctively come to your sides.
“Sorry, I had to get you to shut up.” You pull back, meeting a very emotionally conflicted Changbin.
“Bin. First of all, I’m not leaving you. Second of all, I didn’t soft launch. That was my cousin. He joined me and my aunt for lunch because he is in town at the minute. And lastly, you are so cute when you’re jealous.”
You get a front-row seat to the cogs turning in his head. You watch as his eyes widen and his face flushes a bright shade of red. You throw your head back laughing, still holding the sides of his head. The hands holding you have tightened their grip now, and he’s ducking his head down to hide in your neck.
“I am so sorry. I should be ashamed. Actually.” He cuts himself off and falls to his knees in front of you, arms unwrapping from around you to clasp them together as if he were praying.
“Please forgive me, I’m so sorry. A thousand times over. Hey, stop laughing, I’m trying to apologise. I should never have assumed anything,” he says. You catch your breath and look down at him, instantly bringing a hand to run through his hair. His hands return to you, pulling you into him, and he buries his face in your stomach, mumbling more apologies.
“Changbin, please, look at me.” You use your leverage on his hair to force him to look up. He looks up at you with big eyes.
“Get up.” You giggle. He immediately stands.
“It’s okay, I can understand why you thought that, but you are also super dumb for even thinking that I’d do that in the first place. Why would I ever leave you?”
“I don’t know,” he mumbles, shrugging.
“Exactly, I have no intention to ever leave my wonderful, adorable, handsome-”
“Sexy.”
“Uh-huh, sexy, smart, kind, and sometimes jealous boyfriend.” You smile up at him, putting your hands on his shoulders. He ducks his head into your neck once more.
“I really am sorry, you know.”
“I know you are.”
You feel his arms tighten around you in a strong hug and the two of you stay there for a few seconds as he sways the two of you gently.
“Okay, grovelling over,” he says suddenly standing up straight, dazing you slightly. He suddenly grabs you, easily throwing you over his shoulder.
“What are you doing?” You nearly shout as he begins to move.
“Making it up to my wonderful, understanding, sexy girlfriend! Unless she has any complaints with the proposition?” he replies, and that’s when you realise you’re headed in the direction of the bedroom, and you throw your head back laughing again.
“No complaints here!”

Thrill | Seo Changbin x Reader

pairing: biker!seo changbin x fem!reader
tags: alcohol, a little making out, flirting, cheating? no smut
wc: 2,188
It's about time you feel a thrill, right?
Taking a sip from your glass, you relish the velvety taste. You look around you at the restaurant you had so thoughtfully chosen. It was nice, far nicer than your usual pick, hoping to indulge in some sense of luxury. It was your anniversary after all. Three years have passed since you married the ‘love of your life’. Is that what he was? He seems to barely be in your life at all anymore. You’ve seen him once this past week. He was constantly working late, and apparently ‘away for business’. You’re certain ‘business’ actually goes by the name Jessica. His beautiful, blonde assistant.
He had told you he’d be here. 7pm you told him. He promised.
It’s 7:37pm. He’s not here. You haven’t bothered texting or calling him. You’re not even sure you care anymore. Part of you is glad he hasn’t shown up. The two of you had met in college, he had asked you out and you fell for his charm. Who knew the same charm would be used on someone else?
The waiter, bow-tie and everything, appeared at your side.
“Can I get you anything else, ma’am?” He asked kindly, he knew you had effectively been stood up. You could see the sympathy in his eyes.
“Just another glass, please” You smiled at him, gesturing to your now-empty glass of red wine. He nodded and waltzed away, leaving you with your thoughts once more. The candle on your table drew your attention momentarily as the wax dripped down, mocking you and the passing of time. You let out a silent sigh. Your table was situated on the edge of the restaurant, next to some large glass windows. It was a chilly night outside, so the warmth of the restaurant was causing condensation to build around the edges of the glass. Looking further outside, you watch the familiar thrill of the city at night. Your heart pangs a little, envious of whatever thrill it seems to see.
Your train of thought is interrupted once more by the waiter, returning with a fresh glass of wine. It’s only your second. You might buy a bottle on your way home later.
Something catches your eye from outside. An appearance of a headlight, and then another. You watch as two motorcycles park up, about 10 feet up the road from you. The riders turn their engines off and dismount. They begin to remove their gloves and helmets. The one closest, with his back to you has long blonde hair which he shakes out, running a hand through it. He’s tall, and when he glances to the side of him you see an attractive face. But it’s his friend that catches your eye.
The man facing you removes his helmet and similarly shakes out his hair. It’s black, parted in the middle with a lot of it falling in his face, not as long as his friends, but still a good length. From the safety of the restaurant, you get to silently watch him. He unzips his jacket, rolling out his shoulders. He looks well-built under the gear. You think you’d like to confirm your thought.
He takes a look around, letting his eyes wander during a conversation with his friend and he catches your eyes. Your breath catches in your throat, but your face doesn’t falter. You hold his gaze for a few seconds before finally looking away, taking a sip from your glass.
Your phone begins to buzz, your husband calling you. You take a deep breath.
“Hello?”
“Hey, babe, I’m so sorry, I can’t make it to dinner.” your husband's voice, the voice that once relaxed you and filled you with joy, now feels like walking through glass barefoot.
“Having to stay late at the office?” You ask.
“Uh, yeah, how’d you know?” you hear him stutter.
“Oh, I just know how hardworking my husband is.”
He laughs.
“Of course, what did I do to deserve you?” he says. You can hear the smugness through the phone.
“Oh, nothing good probably.” He laughs again, you always did make him laugh.
“Babe, I think, I’m going to stay at Mike’s again tonight, we’re going to discuss some business things, you know how it is,” he says, you down some of your glass as he talks.
“Don’t worry, I’ll see you when I see you,” you respond. You wonder if you could change the locks before then.
“Alright, I gotta go, I’ll see you later,” he says.
“Bye.”
You put your phone back into your clutch and order another glass of wine when the waiter passes you. Halfway through it, you begin to finally feel the buzz. Smiling to yourself, you find yourself glancing out the window once more. The men are still there, each of them smoking a cigarette and chatting. Your eyes linger on the shorter man once more as he gestures dramatically, his friend rewards him by throwing his head back laughing. The man seems to feel your gaze on him as he catches it once more, his lips turning into a subtle smirk. You’re a goner. You finish your drink and ask for the bill.
Once you have paid, you take a trip to the bathroom. Your makeup is still perfectly intact, which makes sense since it’s not been on for that long. Regardless, you dab at your face just in case and touch up your lipstick. You reapply a small amount of perfume and take one final look in the mirror. The black, figure-fitting dress was a great idea, it’s hot as fuck, and short enough to ride in, you think.
Your coat is long enough to provide some warmth as you head out of the restaurant and into the cool, night air. The two men are still there. Fuck it.
You saunter over to them, the sound of your heels attracting the attention of the man you had your eye on. His eyes drink you in from top to bottom, and then back again.
“I was just checking out your bike. Nice Yamaha.” You say, glancing at the bike momentarily.
“Thank you, she’s an R7.” He puts his hand on the handle. His voice is deep, with a certain gruffness to it. He’s even nicer to look at up close.
“The racing model?” You quirk an eyebrow.
“What can I say? I like the thrill.”
“Care to show me what it’s like?” You ask, daringly. His eyebrows shoot up and he looks a little surprised.
“Sweetheart, I don’t even know your name.” He chuckles, and you notice an earring dangling from his left ear.
“Y/n.” You say. He holds eye contact for a few seconds.
“Changbin.” He finally responds. He stands up, from leaning partially against his bike, and brushes past you.
“Hyunjin, give me your helmet.”
“Why?” his friend says.
“You won’t need it for the next little while, right?” Changbin says. Hyunjin rolls his eyes and hands over his helmet. Changbin takes it and turns back to you.
“You sure you wanna do this?” He gives you an out which you appreciate.
“Sure, I need some thrill in my life.” You shrug.
He lifts the helmet and gently lowers it onto your head. Once it’s secured he turns to his friend.
“You might as well go on ahead, Chan will be waiting for us at the bar,” he says, picking up his helmet. His friend agrees and leaves, but not before telling him to ride safely.
“Feel free to keep him for the night,” Hyunjin jokes as he walks past you. You laugh and turn back to Changbin who’s getting on his bike, which really shouldn’t be so attractive as it is. You walk over to him.
“Do you know how to get on?” He asks, but you just answer by continuing past him and hopping on the back. Your dress slides up your thigh a little. This probably isn’t a good idea, but hey, the danger excites you.
You wrap your hands around him as he turns the bike on, revving the engine a few times. He puts his gloves on as he looks back to you.
“You ready?” he asks.
“As ever.”
He kicks off the stand and takes off, decently fast, but nothing too crazy. Soon enough, you’re riding through the city, the bright lights passing you largely in a blur. Occasionally he puts his hand on top of yours on his stomach, and you tighten your hold every time. Despite you living in it, you find the city strangely beautiful, the rush of the ride changing your opinion of it. You’ve been driving around for probably 30 minutes when you realise he’s slowing down and pulling into the side of the road. He pulls over and kicks up the stand, before turning off the engine.
“Where would you like me to drop you off? The restaurant?” he turns his head to look at you.
“Would you take me home?”
“Sure thing.”
You tell him your address and he knows roughly where it is. You begin to feel a little sad about the fact that the thrill is coming to an end. He pulls into your neighbourhood and you guide him to your house by tapping his side and pointing. He slows down and parks, quickly dismounting before turning back to help you off. He grabs you by the waist and lifts, his effortlessness surprising you. You land on your feet and remain stable despite your legs feeling like jelly thanks to the adrenaline. He removes his helmet, and you remove yours.
“Did you have fun?” He asks, smirking as he leans against his bike.
“You know what? I did, thank you.” You say.
“Let me walk you to the door.” He says, locking his bike.
Now, you would never condone cheating, you’re a married woman after all. But at this moment in time, the only thing stopping you from being single right now are some forms.
Once you reach the door, you turn back to him.
“Would you like to come in? Just to get out of the cold for a little?” you ask, trying not to sound too hopeful.
“Sure thing.”
When you turn towards the door, you can feel his gaze on you, the air around you is heavy. You get the door open without any problems and take a step inside. You remove your jacket and throw it over the back of the sofa on your way towards the kitchen, partially because you need a drink, partially because you’re freaking out a little.
Unfortunately, the universe isn’t going to allow you a breather as you feel his presence following into the kitchen. You pour a glass of water, raking your mind on how the hell you continue this situation.
The universe really seems to have it out for you as you feel Changbin saunter up next to you.
“Sweetheart, I shouldn’t be here should I?” It comes out quietly, causing you to turn your head towards him immediately. His eyes are studying you, attempting to piece together what’s going on in your head.
“Does it matter?” Surprisingly your voice is even, almost flirtatious in tone. He raises an eyebrow in questioning.
“We broke up. This evening.” You give in.
“Alright then,” He accepts the answer. “You want me to help you forget him?”
That shouldn’t have caught you off guard as much as it did, but alas, you feel a subtle buzz flow through your spine. He takes a step closer. You finally turn your body towards him.
“Please.” You only flutter your eyelashes a little as you look up at him.
“I got you.” A strong, but gentle hand lands on your waist as he steps into your space completely, slyly pulling you towards him. Your arms instinctively disappear underneath his jacket as he finally connects your lips, your eyes fluttering shut the whole way. He tastes like cigarettes and something from a distant memory. His hand feels warm as it tightens its grip, and you move to push off his jacket.
Changbin disconnects from you for a second, just long enough to throw his jacket onto the dining table. Part of you is sad that you don’t get to ogle at the tight-fitting, black t-shirt he is wearing underneath for as long as you want to. As he leas back in, your hands go to his arms, feeling the hard muscle under your fingertips.
“Shouldn’t you be meeting your friends?” Your mind reminds you, gasping for air as you pull away from him once more. The look of hunger that flashes in his eyes only fuels your ego a little.
“Nah, I’m sure they’ll be fine without me.” He leans towards you.
“But-”
“Trust me. The minute I saw you through the window, I told Hyunjin that there was a chance I’d ditch him,” he smirks. “Thank God I did.” He finishes, eyeing you up and down once more, drinking you in fully.
“You're that confident?” you say as you tilt his head back up, forcing him to make eye contact.
“Of course.”
“Well then, let’s put that confidence to use.”

Hi I’m new to your page and I think you write so wonderfully <3 I really hope your blog blows up!
I was wondering if you can write something fluffy and suggestive for Han <3 I love it when he leans in for a kiss but never actually does it, but what if you pulled him in for a kiss unexpectedly? The rest of skz know that you both like each other but they try to get you both alone 🥰
alright I see you anon.... so i threw this together in a couple hours, i hope it's everything you've ever dreamed of.
pairing: skz Han Jisung x gn!Reader
tags: reader undresses him kinda? light swearing, jisung is an IDIOT, fluff, suggestive? but no explicit smut, kithy kithy
wc: 1,541
Han Jisung is an oblivious man. Disgustingly, worryingly, hilariously oblivious. It’s honestly quite frustrating at this point, you have no idea how you’ve lasted this long without just straight-up murdering him.
The problem is: you like him. Like, really like him. And he really likes you. His crush on you could be recognised by a stranger, just by the way he looks at you. Ask anyone and their mom, Han Jisung is head over heels (or maybe converse) for you. In the beginning when the realisation first dawned, you kind of got mad at the fact he’s never made a move on you, but your second realisation came with time: Han Jisung is kind of dumb.
Felix, his best friend, and the kindest person you’ve ever met, helped you devise a plan. You were going to bag Han Jisung. And if it didn’t work, then you were sure he should be put in the Guinness World Records for… something.
Tonight was the night. The guys were roughly 5 minutes from finishing performing their latest concert in Seoul, and here you are in their dressing room. It’s decently large and you relish in the crisp atmosphere created by the large air-con unit on the ceiling, no doubt that the nice, clean smell will only last a few more minutes until the boys barrel in, hot and sweaty.
You hear them before you see them, particularly Changbin who is shouting, seemingly in a battle with Lee Know as to who will finally lose their voice first. Your bet is on Changbin. Felix enters after them, patting Changbin on the back and he catches your eye, a small smile tugging at his lips. The plan isn’t necessarily complicated, but the both of you think it may be tricky to pull off due to the nature of the people it concerns. Have you ever tried to wrangle 6 young adult men? Didn’t think so.
“How were we, Y/n?” Seungmin asks as he walks past you, undoing his microphone belt. A few of the boys look over expectingly.
“You were all wonderful, but I don’t need to tell you guys that.” You roll your eyes playfully, trying to hide the small fizzle of nerves as you realise what’s about to go down.
“How was I?” Jisung makes his way over to you, standing right by your spot on the couch. He grins down at you cockily, the stage energy still flowing through him.
“You, Han Jisung, were phenomenal,” you laughed as he celebrated. As you watched him peacock his chest out a little, you neglected to see the knowing glances and smiles coming from the other boys. You also don’t notice Felix nonchalantly going around some of the members, whispering something to them.
Your presence in the green room is nothing uncommon, the boys comfortably changing in front of you, so you hardly respond as the boys begin their routine of changing, removing makeup, and packing up whatever shit they brought with them. Jisung is still jumping around the room, going up to Minho and teasing him about him slipping on stage. You think you see Minho attempt to slap his ass in retaliation, but Jisung narrowly escapes with a squeal.
Before you realise it, Hyunjin, Jeongin, and Seungmin are all leaving, conveniently saying something about removing their makeup at home. Chan and Changbin have surprisingly changed into gym clothes and you think for a second that they might be crazy for doing a workout directly after a show, but it quickly dawns on you that they are in fact, crazy, so you’re not actually all that surprised. You watch as they slowly make their way to the exit, the volume in the room slowly decreasing. Thankfully Jisung doesn’t seem to notice the abruptness of it all.
One of the stylists is still going about, tidying up some last few things, and asks Jisung if he could lend a hand lifting something out to the car. Fuck, your plan might just be a bust. Just as Jisung is about to agree, Felix cuts in.
“Actually, I’m just about to head out there,” he says, throwing the last things in his bag quicker than he was before. “I can help you.”
You notice Jisung look between the two and you think for a second that he may finally be clocking something. You watch as Lee Know slips out of the room, headphones on.
“I might need help with my clothes, this zip on my back will be impossible for me,” Jisung says to the stylist, she’s about to respond, but you cut her off.
“I can help,” you try not to sound too enthusiastic. “We can meet you guys outside.” You walk over to them, with your most convincing smile. Felix practically answers for the poor stylist and he drags her away.
Suddenly, the two of you are alone. The air feels crisp again, but no less intense. Your standing close enough to Jisung that it could be entirely platonic, but you get to see the little details on his face: his eyelashes, the sweat still clinging to his hair around the edges. You kind of expect him to say something but he doesn’t, he just continues to remove the jewellery and other random accessories from his outfit.
You go up to the mirror next to him and start fussing with your outfit, running your fingers through your hair.
“You look nice tonight,” Jisung says from beside you and your eyes meet in the mirror as soon as he says it. A small blush creeps onto your cheeks. Damn it, how can Jisung compliment so easily?
“Do I usually not?” you deflect, laughing.
“You do, it’s just that you look more dressed up than usual. Usually, when you hang with us backstage, you’re comfier.” He says, easily.
“Oh,” you think for a second that he’s finally caught on. “I guess I just wanted to look nice.”
“Well, you do.” He ducks away quickly by bending down and beginning to remove his boots. You fall into a small silence as you lean back against the counter, watching him with something like admiration warming up your chest.
“Can you help with the zip?” He asks.
“Come here.” You nod, outstretching your hand, and he steps into your space, close enough that you almost instinctively part your legs. You take this opportunity to appreciate his back, his time in the gym not going unappreciated by you. As you lower the zip, it’s probably not a coincidence that you let out a small sigh as your fingertips lightly graze the smooth skin on his back. You think you see him tense.
Once the zip is undone, he spins around, suddenly you have a very shirtless Han Jisung in your close proximity. You try to avert your eyes.
“Hey, eyes are up here.” He smirks, chuckling lowly when you laugh. Leaning into each other as you laugh, you meet his eyes, something flickers in them. His eyes flick downwards, and immediately back up. This is it, you think, just a subtle move, a head tilted perfectly and you could finally break the barrier of whatever tension is between the two of you.
You hold his gaze for 1 second… 2 seconds… And it’s gone. His shoulders huff in a laugh, as he looks down in between you. Something like frustration flows through you.
“Han Jisung.” This gets his attention as his eyes snap back to yours, a little wider than they just were. You bring your hands up, grazing them up his arms a little, and you feel him tense a little, but he doesn’t look away. Your hands settle lightly on his neck.
“Are you going to kiss me or not?” You ask. He looks dumbfounded. You laugh. You watch the cogs turn in his mind, the sparkle in his eyes brightening slightly. He opens his mouth to say something. You don’t let him.
With your hold on his neck, you pull him towards you, and he goes easily. Soft lips crash into yours and your eyes flutter shut. You feel his hands finally respond as he places them lightly on your sides. It’s weirdly everything you’ve ever imagined, it’s soft and gentle and sweet, everything Jisung usually is to you. He pulls back from you, mouth parted in a grin.
“You have no idea how much I’ve wanted to do that.”
“Then why did you stop?” You say, chuckling.
“God, you’re so right.” He says and dives right back in, a little harsher this time, his grip on you moving downwards to your waist, gripping a little tighter. You gasp slightly at the movement, and he seizes the opportunity to deepen the kiss. Your hands move up into his hair, ruining it just a little in the process. It all becomes too much as you drag your hand down his front, feeling the warm, still slightly sweaty, skin of his chest. You pull back, your heart skipping a little as he attempts to follow. With a firm hand on his chest, you push him back a little, relishing in the look of his kiss-bruised lips and the blush creeping up his neck.
“We should get out of here.”
“God, you’re so right.” He grins.
