Thinking about Ep 2 of season 5: - Morro, still fairly freshly after possessing Lloyd, hearing someone say "You're the Green Ninja!" with so much awe and excitedly ask for his autograph. Do you think he felt happy for a moment, hearing what he dreamed for? For once getting the recognition he wanted? He signed it without hesitation, didn't push away the fans.

But when they opened the camera to take a picture, he saw a face that's not his own, staring right back at him. A painful reminder.

Season 5 thought

Rewatching Possession for the billionth time. You CANNOT tell me this wasn’t one of Wu’s worst moments. Purely because: He shifts so much blame off himself and onto Morro it’s actually insane. He claims “Morro grew prideful” “Morro wouldn’t accept destiny” “Morro became hateful” BR O THER WHOS JOB IS IT TO TEACH KIDS AGAINST THOSE THINGS?? It can be inferred that Morro was really pretty young when Wu found him. Ergo, it was Wu’s job to teach him all the things kids need to learn to be good people (ie. kindness, graciousness, respect, humility, etc.) Morro seemingly doesn’t really know any of these very well, so it can also be assumed that Wu both did a very bad job teaching Morro basic things kids need, while also pumping his head with the pride and enthusiasm of him being the Green Ninja. Literally none of that was Morro’s fault. His running away was his own choice, but Wu’s refusal to take accountability for Morro’s upbringing and reaction to Lloyd really made him seem antagonistic.

I was super tired last night and imagined this all happening with ms paint graphics.

When Lloyd get soul slurpie suck by Mr. Thick thighs save lives, he dies, but instead of meeting the FSM, he goes to the departed realm's area and meets Morro.

Our buddy Lloyd falls from the sky and face plants into the dirt. He just rolls over and Morro is standing above him.

"Dearly departed, this may come as a- wait... Yo Lloyd? My bad man."

"Morro??"

"Yeah. Man, guess you're here, but idk, sure you want to go yet?"

"Naw give it a moment."

...

......

"Soooo uhhh, what have you been doing now?"

"Ferry manning souls. You?"

"Huh cool, good for you, glad you're not all spicy now. Was just fighting an overgrowth lizard of death."

"Looks like you lost that fight, huh."

Lloyd starts glowing.

"There we go, that took longer than normal."

"See ya man, don't come back anytime soon or I'll kick your hide back to Ninjago!"

what if arin didnt recognize morro *purely because* he didnt have the green streak. like imagine the thought crossed his mind, but he just thought "nah, this couldnt be him, he doesnt have the iconic green streak"

headcannoning that while morro was possessing lloyd, lloyd would intentionally try to annoy him just to piss him off. that being said, he remembers this and intentionally tries to piss off thunderfang in a similar way from his stomach.

Idk what else to say, episode 3 was really solid besides the whole jay stuff

You know the funniest thing being a Morro fan before dr season 3 was when everyone’s opinions were coming out.

So many people would just keep noting that Morro can’t come back, because he died.

That guy was dead the second he appeared on screen and then proceeded to ‘die’ another two times from water and on the day of the departed.

And when he finally did come back in Dragons Rising season 3. He dies. Again. To a dragon.

Death does not stop this guy in any way from haunting the narrative and then forcefully putting himself directly into it again.
