“Now what’s cooler than being cool...?” Ice cold! “Alright alright alright alright alright alright--” Runs out of breath.

It would probably be easier to just manipulate the snow and ice into a wall shape. At the rate she was going, she’d have a wall done in a few hours. Snow and ice rose up from the ground, forming into a wall of equal height and length of the first one.

“This is so cool. I’ve built igloos before, but never a snowcastle.”

“One snowcastle, coming right up.”

While Regice made herself busy with the next wall, Kyurem had already begun planning how the interior building should be. Marking certain spots by scratching crosses onto them, making outlines where the castle should be build…

One would wonder how Kyurem would be so knowledgeable of architecture. 

For your own safety and sanity, and their own, do refrain from asking them.

“You think it is... cute..? Really..? Wow, thanks, that’s really nice of you to say... Um, do you-- do you ever braid your hair..? Can I braid it maybe, or is that weird...?”

          ❝ Thank you. Taking care of it is natural for me since I have always had long hair since childhood. And yes, are hair color are close in shades of blue. I think your short hair is cute. ❞

“Mm.” Regice nodded thoughtfully. “I want to meet her someday. She created you, yeah..? Does that mean she’s like... my grandma..? Or something...”

       “Yeah, she’s always kind. A bit strict as well, but not excessively. She doesn’t give me orders as much as she used to, but I’m still required to listen to her.”

“Woah.” Regice had taken a minute to get up from the snow. When piled on, it was a bit heavy, plus she was small. She shook snow off of herself, looking up at the wall. It was already bigger than her.

“Hm... we should make it into a snowcastle. Like sandcastles at the beach, but better.” She began piling snow up, starting to make another wall that was next to the one already built.

“A snowfort you say…? If that is what you desire, then very well!”

Without giving her a moment to free herself, Kyurem already got busy. Shovelling snow with their head and feet, freezing it into place so it won’t fall apart… By the time Regice got up, they have already built an intimidating wall.

“Just how grand do you want it to be?”

Goodbye world. With a soft thud, the snow covered Regice and made her fall to the ground. Being completely covered with snow was a nice feeling. It was like a cold blanket, basically. After a moment, the small legendary popped her head out of the snow, shaking excess snow from her hair.

“That was super cool.” Most people probably wouldn’t take kindly to being covered in snow, but Regice wasn’t like most people. “We should build a snow fort. Snowball fights won’t do much to either of us.”

“…”

The snowball plopped uselessly against their frozen form, sliding down and falling helplessly to the ground.

There were a few awkward moments passing by, Kyurem’s gaze switching from the projectile and back to their fellow Ice Type. It was getting quite… Uncomfortable.

Without warning, they kicked a massive wave of snow at Regice!

“Oh yeah, I guess that’s true. I slept a lot of the time, so I don’t... really know too many other legendaries.” Humans did like to write stories about them. Maybe she could learn that way.

It was amazing how much snow covered the ground after only a few minutes. That was power of ice-types.

“I already know one activity people like. Me and my siblings would do this all the time when it snowed...” Regice picked up some snow in her hands, forming it into a ball. “Hup..!” And then the snowball was tossed at Kyurem.

“Well, yes. I have wandered this world for over 5,000 years. There are many legends and myths regarding you and your siblings; I’d be foolish to not wish to learn about you.”

Kyurem, too, adored the cold. They always did, even when they were still whole. Soon enough the surrounding area was covered in a blanket of snow, and the storm subsided.

It seemed to passerby’s that Winter arrived early this year.

“Now, how about we get busy? I’ve heard that human mortals enjoy a variety of activities in the snow…”

“You’ve really heard of me before..?” Regice was actually surprised. It always seemed that not too many people knew of her and her siblings’ existence, which was totally fine.

“Okay. Go for it.” The cold wind that blew through the area didn’t bother her in the slightest. In fact, it was comforting. “This is... so cool...” She wanted to help out too. She knew she wasn’t as strong as Kyurem, but she still loved making it snow.

With her power as well, the snow and ice came down a bit more quickly.

“Regice! One of the Shaper’s own children! You may not know me, but I have heard much of you.”

“But anyway… Yes, I am indeed an Ice Type. Dragon and Ice, if you will. Now, how about something strong to start the process?”

And with that, a strung gust of wind howled through the area, carrying ice and snow. It would seem Regice’s wish would be fulfilled soon enough.
