He’d cheated to know the “blind” basket, sure, but he’d paid for it anyway.

Words weren’t his thing, sure, but he spoke his heart when he asked his beloved’s hand forever.

And for a mercy to his poor heart, Fianel said yes.

Artistic References: Fianel Silvermane

TL;DR: A tanned young elven man in his early to mid twenties with high cheekbones, plush lips, an impish smile, and an almost exotic, ethereal beauty to him. Bright auburn hair threaded with violet and gold (akin to a sunset) and almond-shaped blue-green eyes. A willowy but athletic dancer’s build with slim shoulders and trim hips.

Commissioned Art:

Facial Features or Face Claims: Of particular note are his “kissable” mouth and high cheekbones. He has a delicate and beautiful look without it tripping over into sharpness. (Face claim is Troye Sivan)

Hair Color and Style: Naturally bright auburn, but in recent years has become threaded through with rich and gold. Also naturally tousled and wavy and falling to his waist. Usually left loose or pulled into a high, messy ponytail to keep it out of his way.

Skin Tone: A rich golden color, almost caramel, thanks to his half-Tanari heritage.

Body Type/Build: Lean and athletic. A dancer’s build. Trim and slim in all the right places without looking scrawny or skinny.

Clothing Style: Tends to vary between extremes, either light and flowing or tight and form-fitting. He enjoys both long, flowing silk skirts and skintight pants, and his tops are usually some level of revealing (he especially likes showing off his midriff), although he’s also fond of stealing his lover’s thick knit sweaters, which are quite oversized on him. He prefers rich colors; crimsons and golds are favorites, as are peacock hues.

(He’s also a fan of silk and lace lingerie, but you didn’t hear that from me.)

Jewelry: He prefers gold and delicacy: small hoops, little studs, and tiny chains in his ears, which are pierced three times each in the lobes and once near the tip on the left side. He has a set of snakebite piercings in his lower lip, as well as a barbel through his tongue.

The only constants in his jewelry are a simple leather cord around his left ankle, and a delicate collar necklace of silver and gold, the gold entwined in a lovers’ knot meant to sit at the front of the throat. The back fastens not with a lock, but a sweet, dainty heart-shaped clasp with a little round amethyst set into the silver.

Description: One really has to wonder how an elf by the name of “Silvermane” gets away with hair that looks like the sunset settled over his shoulders, all rich reds and and coppers. It suits him, though, going along well with his sun-kissed skin, high cheekbones, and those laughing blue-green eyes that always seem to know some secret you don’t. His build is trim and lean, a dancer’s build, meant for flexibility and athleticism while still retaining a boyish sort of slenderness, with just the right amount of flare in his hips to give observers… ideas, and the impish curve on his full lips seems to encourage just that kind of wicked thought.

Demeanor: Although friendly, charming, and full of warmth and mischief, he still seems to carry a sense of reservation about him, as though there’s some piece of the real him that he keeps away from the world at large. Only around his lover does he feel truly himself, both the good and the bad. He’s physically affectionate, playful, full of understanding… and carrying a jealous streak a mile wide that even he doesn’t like to admit the strength of.

Other Details: Fond of keeping his nails almost femininely long and usually painted and decorated. Also enjoys henna, body glitters, subtle makeup, and other sorts of body paint.

A heavy beat like tribal drums and the pounding of an eager heart kicks to life around the dancer, a darkly irresisitlbe rhythm shot through with bursts of brighter melody.

His sunset hair -- a touseled riot of crimson and copper -- is bound up in a high, loose ponytail, a few strands artfully escaping to frame his face, while a sweep of gold draws attention to plush lips and kohl outlines sensuous eyes, giving him a sultry, exotic look, the prize of any caliph's harem. His slender, athletic chest is bare, although it sparkles gold in the light, and around his hips is a belt of delicate golden chain, holding up a calf-length loincloth of black silk, embroidered with shimmering golden thread, that hangs dangerously, tantalizingly low on his lean hips.

It starts off slow, as good seduction does, with a sultry roll of his hips and a ripple across his outstretched arms. His back is to his audience, letting them enjoy its smooth line and the way his muscles move under bronzed skin before he turns to face them in one fluid step. His sinuous movements, slender shoulders to taut midriff to senuous hips, hope to draw the eye and ensnare the senses: an alluring serpent weaving its hypnotic spell.

And then the melody really gets going, and so does its dancer, releasing the raw sexuality held in check and stepping, spinning, dipping to lay claim to the stage as the singer begins to lament his unrequited desire. His hips bounce in rhythm with the bell, his shoulders ripple, his tight belly rolls in a motion that can only bring to mind one erotic, wanton image, making clear that even as  the singer rues his one-sided love, he can never escape this lustful, senuous creature.

Athletic steps and dips combine with wicked shimmying hips and erotic undulations to create a mesmerizing fusion of dance and enticement, made all the worse by the way his loincloth shifts about him, giving constant hints of the prizes that lay underneath without ever laying it all bare. The instrumental crescendo builds, sending Fianel into a sweeping, twirling tour of the stage, the lean line of his thighs and the taut curve of his back accentuating the song's longing as it chases after him.

The music slows, so does he, resuming the slow, fluid sway of his hips that make one want to grab hold of them and... well. With the singer's final plea to his self-absorbed lover, the seductive serpent has returned, all hypnotizing hips and enthralling eyes, tempting his audience to chase him even as he promises to eat them alive. The last swell of instruments carries him to completion in a swirl of silken cloth and a twirl of a lean, muscular body, until, at last, he coils on the stage, head bowed and arms outstretched, inviting his pursuers to claim their prize.
