As it is Valentine's Day I want to share with you all a story of ever lasting love. When my youngest sister died I fell to pieces, part of me was missing. My sister, my friend, the person who could make my life so hard I couldn't breath. Who shared my secrets and my hope's.  I really didn't know how to fill that void, I felt so so lost and alone on a wave of emotion.  Months after she passed the strangest thing happened I found a Robbin in our house. This tiny little bird must have flown in our back door and was now frantically trying to get out a closed window.  I eventually caught this little fella and then it happened he just sat still in my hand staring at me. I was totally mesmerized this beautiful little soul was allowing me to hold him. I had opened my hands so as to not damage his wings and he still didn't move.  Spiritual people like myself say that if a Robin comes to see you after a bereavement it's your loved one saying 'I am still here, I love you and I am ok'. Weather you believe that or not is irrelevant but on that day in that moment I felt my sister, all the love and happiness we had shared washed over me and I started to smile which hadn't happened in a long time. I took him outside and told him to go and he took off towards the closest tree. Since that day my Robin visits fairly regularly he sits on the rose bushes in our front garden and watches us through the window and when he does I think of my little sister and smile. So today of all days and not just in a romantic way. Share your love, show appreciation for your colleagues at work or in your network. Do a random act of kindness for a stranger. Let your friends and family know how much they mean to you. Best thing I have done this year is read this book !!!!!. So full of motivational and inspirational stories the author is one hell of a brave man.
