🌸A book where I travelled through the story and genuinely felt emotions of all the characters which are scattered in each page with beautifully chosen words .

🌸 The author has successfully explored a lot of aspects like ; impact of a misogynistic society in human life, endurance of females towards sufferings, tragedy of missing the loved ones , consequences of a war, the importance of education ..AND today's world is constantly struggling with all of these !

🌸 Although I felt emotions of all the characters while reading , I organically started to see the story through Mariam's eyes . Her feelings resonated through my soul . Her strength is the backbone of the story just like " the strength of thousands of Mariam's out there , which holds a society together in it's worst phase "

🌸Just like in Laila's heart, Mariam will be in the heart of each and every reader where she will shine with bursting radiance of thousand suns ...and she will always remind everyone that all we want in life is " to love and to be loved "
