Some would say the pile of books Togami had borrowed at once from the library was impossible to finish before the date they had to be returned by, but whoever said that obviously had never met him in their life.

The only downside to acquiring so much knowledge at once was the inevitable workload that came from delivering them back to the librarian. But even as he struggled with the five thick tomes in his arms, he didn’t exactly accept the upperclassman’s offer with grace.

"What is it to you. Do you think that I am so weak that I am unable to handle gathered together pieces of paper?"

Hinata couldn't quite tell what the books were - the titles and covers evaded his view - but he definitely noticed the other student being weighed down. Regardless, he wondered how far the other student had carried those books so far. It must've been terribly hard work.

"Well, to be fair, that is what all the evidence is pointing to. They're obviously heavier than you're trying to play them off as... You sure you're okay with them?"

Hidden among the shelves and treasure troves of books in the library was a vaguely familiar face. He couldn't quite remember who it was, but he doubted he'd be forgetting any time soon - the decorative dress they were wearing were definitely the type to stick in your mind for a while. If he remembered right, they were some sort of idol. Unfortunately, he'd never paid too much attention to the idol scene (beyond just hearing news and songs on radio stations) and never learned any names.

He approached them, coughing lightly to catch their attention.

"Is it weird if I say that I think I know you? Because you look familiar to me, sort of..."

Hope's Peak could easily be one of the biggest schools anyone ever attended in their lifetime. Of course, that came with the obvious wordless assumption that anyone attending would likely spend a lot of time just trying to get their bearings. This was nothing but true for one Hajime Hinata, who had spent a handful of the last few minutes trekking through the many hallways of the school in an attempt to just get somewhere.

He hadn't given much thought to where he wanted to go in particular - even though he had wanted to see where a few basic places were and meet a few of the students he'd be spending the year with - but even so, he still felt himself expressing a disappointed frown when he found his trail had just led him back to the dormitories. At least he knew how /not/ to get somewhere now, he reasoned. Before he could chase his thoughts further, he caught sight of movement from down the corridor. They looked to be around his age, but he couldn't really tell - they could just as well be one of the teachers (who he hadn't seen yet, either). Probably not, though - he couldn't see a reason why a teacher would be hanging around the student dorms. He just decided to ask, and possibly talk to them a bit along the way too.

"...Hello, to whoever's there. Are you a student too?"
