Sobre estar em casa: Não tivemos escolha a não ser ficarmos quietos. Tanto tempo sem falar sobre, tanto tempo sem compartilhar, sem nos curarmos. Só o gosto seco e amargo da assimilação, da opressão. Todo esse sofrimento nos separou da terra, os modos coloniais impuseram uma forma de viver que não a nossa. Aos poucos as memórias foram se perdendo, os costumes, a língua e mesmo assim, resistimos. Forçados a nos adaptar, sobrevivemos. Mas o fogo continuou a queimar e o rio de água vermelha a correr em nossas veias. A conexão com a terra se fez presente e consciente, a memória cósmica se abriu. Foi preciso quatro gerações para que voltassemos pra casa, a nossa verdadeira casa, à nossa memória ancestral o início de uma jornada profunda que permea o medo e a raiva em direção ao amor. Aqui estamos, os guardiões da chama. Seguimos caminhando. 🐆🍃✊🏾 --------------------- About being home - We had no choice other than to be quite. For so long, not talking about, for so long not sharing, not healing, just the dry taste of the oppression and assimilation. The Suffering obligated us to dissociate ourselves from the land. Colonization forced us to be something we weren't. Another language, religion and ways of being. Adapt to survive. But the fire kept on burning and the blood water rivers kept flowing in our veins. The connection with the land stood up and reminded us of our cosmic relations, who we really are. We needed four generations to come back home. The real one, our ancestral memories, the beginning of a deep journey into healing, a journey through the fear and anger toward love.
