Is this fandom even alive nowadays ?? These two are so special to me and I wanted to share my own spin on that particular scene after the new royal academy match. Idk about the Japanese original dialogue but in French Ray dark says exactly that on the 1st panel, insinuating Caleb had been working to get someone’s attention…

Realistically I think Dark could have been talking about coach Hilman and Caleb wanting to get recognised as a player, but in my heart I believe they were talking about Jude. I mean, Caleb was obsessed with him although in a very negative way (luckily that changed later on 😅)

Anyway, I’ve often thought about Caleb reminiscing when he’s finally by Jude’s side and no longer in his shadow ❤️

bianchi is such a great character with so much potential, if amano cared a little more about the female characters in reborn she could have had one of the best arcs in the story as an older sister, hitman, and mentor. i absolutely need her to take chrome under her wing, teach her how to be a mafioso, and interact more with haru and kyoka!

her relationship with gokudera in the future leaves such a bittersweet aftertaste, i would like to see them get closer in the manga, or vice versa, what if gokudera could not forgive her for a long time, but we would be shown acceptance of bianca, their further interactions, their journey to accepting each other and becoming brother and sister.

also i would like to see bianchi protect sawada's family or the girls, she is a strong fighter after all! show that the fact that nothing happened to tsuna's mom and the girls while guardians were fighting the bad guys is her merit, she is the one protecting the vongola's rear.

considering that amano hints to us that the girls in the future know about the mafia (at least hana), it would be logical that she teaches them the basics of the mafia world and self-defense! let her be a mentor! she will be good at it!

it would also be cool if amano remembered that there are other characters with whom she can communicate not only the guardians and tsuna's mother with the girls. let her communicate with oregano or lal mirch.

Haru's really smart btw. She goes to midori middle school, which yams said is one of the hardest elite all-girls schools to get into. Her dad also teaches maths at a university, so that must have helped her too growing up. She also said she has tutoring from five to six. She does gymnastics and is at least good enough to participate in school's competitions, so you know she's athletic. She has that balance and agility and flexibility and core strength going on for her. She's so crafty and good with her hands. The disguises and costumes she's able to make? Girlie could disappear herself and keep living in namimori just fine. She'll butt heads with you to stick up for herself and her opinions. She'll stand by her principles and what she thinks is right no questions asked, even if it means resorting to violence, which she isn't afraid of and will also do without a second thought lmao. She'll wait for you to get out of prison and write you a lot of letters should you ever kill someone. She'll come with you whenever you have to get rid of an enemy family but will pretend she doesn't see any of it for your peace of mind (which was so funny of her actually zjeksjsk 😭😂). She'll test you to make sure you're still a good person worthy of her liking you and confront you about it if it fails. She'll make sure you're a good person full stop if she thinks you're up to no good even if you've never met before. She'll try to kidnap you to keep you safe when the students at your school are targeted and attacked. She'll put on a brave front for you so you can worry less about her and focus on the things you have to do. She's impulsive and reckless and prone to jump to conclusions. But she's also kind and brave and helpful and resourceful and driven and strong-willed and always well-meaning. She's girly and quirky and friendly and hardworking and energetic and fun and always ready to encourage you and cheer you up.

Anyways. I didn't plan to write all that and turn this into crying over what haru's character could have been hours, but here we are. Also i'm not necessarily saying amano should have just made her mafia too and given her a gun or something lol. I do personally think it wouldn't have gone against her character and i'd have enjoyed watching that happen, but i don't mind that she remained a civilian throughout the manga at all. I don't think it makes her uninteresting either, for sure. I'm just saying that not only she had potential, but there was also actual room within the story to make her a well-fleshed out supportive character. Like, my girl has all of this going on for her and what did we get?? Yeah, that's right. 😔

it kills me how wonderful gokudera is. he is so enthusiastic when he does what he likes. he's happy to help tsuna, he's happy to organize something as a "right hand", he's happy that he can do something that matters to someone. a lot of people reduces it to his "obsession" with tsuna, but he is just happy to be part of a family, happy to finally not be alone. tsuna gave him the opportunity to find a family: yamamoto, ryohei, lambo, chrome and others. of course he is grateful, but people interpret it as something crazy. yes, he tried to give his life for tsuna, but because he sincerely believed that his death would bring more benefit to the family than his life. he was ready to give his life because he believed that it was worth nothing. can you imagine the mental horror that was in his head? of course, after he was recognized as important, needed by someone and loved, he changed! little by little, but he began to believe in it and trust his family, and not just try to look better for tsuna than he is, so that he would not suddenly leave him, deciding that he is useless.

people who interpret his irritation as disdain for other family members are wrong! they are wrong and fools! this is his stupid language of communication, he has no idea how to communicate normally! at first he was jealous and afraid that he would be "replaced", that they would find someone better and forget about him, but then he realizes that they are a family, no one will be abandoned, they love him not because he is "useful", but because he is here, alive, healthy, happy and that's it. his attitude towards people changes and it is visible!

he learns to live for himself and his family, he learns to be better and be able to protect the people dear to him. my best boy!
