Dealing with a racist city
I have been doing Pittsburgh Black Pride for 19 + years and we always have to struggle, and do without, Falling short on everything that we try to accomplish. The last 2 years I spent submitting, and proving that we did not receive any funds over $25.000. We really struggled through it , but the organization with the support of the LGBTQ black community came together still celebrating, thankful for that. I still don't know who made the claim and the state said they will not tell me. So I feel like this gives the people power to keep trying to pull us down.
