okay i feel kinda bad because i don’t understand why so many people are directly mad at dnp for warehouse and production issues with the merch? like i get it you used your hard earned money for a product and want that product to be good quality and delivered on time but i doubt the two of them are directly at fault for it so im a bit peeved people on the hellsite of twitter are acting like they can control every aspect of a business they definitely have hired other people to deal with you know? am i being overly critical? i dont wanna say people dont have the right to be upset but i also dont think its fair to blame production issues on them either

i sometimes wonder if "joining" the phandom was a mistake for me. like don't get me wrong, i like dnp and i like the phannies on here, that's not the issue. but so many times i've felt like running my phannie blog is like- work. like dnp will post a video or stream or whatever, and i see it and go "oh god if i watch this i'll have to pay attention so i can post about it" or "oh god i'll have to watch this NOW so i'm in the loop won't i" or "oh god my dashboard will be full of my phannie mutuals referencing this new thing for the next few hours, so scrolling through tumblr will be so frustrating bc i won't know what everyone's talking about" and right now it's really sucked the joy out of watching dnp's videos for me. and like. i don't wanna unsubscribe, you know i like the guys, usually. and i obviously don't wanna unfollow my mutuals, i like yall. but when i find myself gleefully clicking on EVERY video in my subscription feed EXCEPT for danandphilgames, and that's been the case for months now, i gotta ask myself what's up

I don't understand why they don't lie more when it comes to dating stories. Like whenever it's time to talk about a boyfriend or an ex they bring up a situation that happened before they met each other, and usually the story sounds exaggerated anyway. I understand from the phandom perspective that it would cause a lot of discourse if one of them told a story that fudged the phan timeline, but I don't see why, from their pov, they won't just lie even for comedy/entertainment sake. It doesn't actually matter but there's only so many times we can hear about exes from 20 years ago. Actually come to think of it I don't get why they even mention a time frame. "When I was 16" "back in uni", bro just say "one time a man I dated blah blah blah."

I genuinely don't know if this is silly or not but I'm honestly so anxious about tumblr. Everytime I encountered a glitch in the last 3 days, I thought to myself "oh no this is the beginning of the end. It's unravelling. It's coming apart and no one's there to fix it" when rationally I KNOW that a few months ago I would have met the same glitches with a shrug and a "oh well. Functional website!". I've started backing up my posts. I've considered making a bluesky account even though I really don't want to use it, just to find the people I'm following here. I've thought about downloading phanart even though I know I should never repost them without asking the artists. Can someone please tell me EITHER that I'm not alone having these thoughts OR that everything's gonna be ok and tumblr will be here for another 10 years :( thank you
