Style of the week - Constance
Constance Aubry, Clothing team Describe your style My style varies with my mood, the weather, the occasion, and where I'm in the world. Being Swiss-Argentinian and living between Canada and Brazil, I tend to follow different trends and mix them up with my own personal style. In general I would say that I have a preppy edgy chic style. When I dress preppy I try to shake it up with accessories that will make me look a little bit more edgy. I love black, white and prints. What are you wearing today? A Zara white tee, a Zadig & Voltaire grey cardigan, The Kooples black flowy crepe trousers, white Converse, Tiffany&Co jewellery, and Armani sheer lipstick 602. What are your favourite clothing stores? Here I would say Club Monaco is my favourite one. In Europe Sandro, Zadig & Voltaire and The Kooples, in Brazil Osklen and Farm, and in Argentina Paula Cahen d'Anvers and Etiqueta Negra. Just to name a few… What are your favourite clothing items? Clutches!!! I'm the biggest fan..My favourite ones are from KENALL, an Argentinian brand. You should go check them out on Facebook, they have some really cool bags!

Style of the week - Aissa
Welcome back phassionistas, we hope your semester has been going well so far. This is going to be a very exciting year for all of us at P[h]assion, our annual fashion show is finally coming your way! In the mean time, let's start off with the first episode of Style of the week 2014 featuring our favorite greek beauty, Alexandra Aissa!
Describe your style. Honestly on school days I don’t really put a lot of effort into getting ready, the real focus is staying warm. I’ll usually be wearing a loose sweater with jeans and a colorful scarf. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry but I never take off my necklace with a bad eye on it and my watch. Most of my clothes are black so I’ve been making an effort to venture into more colorful items but that hasn’t really worked for me yet… What are you favorite clothing stores? Zara, Dynamite and Massimo Dutti. What are your favorite clothing items? Scarves, bright patterned skirts and pyjamas Do you have any tips for P[h]assion readers trying to escape the cold weather?
I used to leave the house and my ears would freeze until I discovered knitted headbands

Style of the week - Yiou
Hello everyone! Today we will be bringing you the last style of the week of this semester, featuring P[h]assion's very own Yiou Huang! We wish you all the luck on your finals and a wonderful holiday!
How would you describe your style? I would say sailor meet rocker meet student life haha. In general, I don’t wear a lot of prints but I love stripes and sparkles. If I always wear one pop color or one key jewelry piece at the time. Simplicity is key! My wardrobe is mainly filled with neutral colors. It goes with everything! During summer time, I mainly wear white, beige and blue. For winter time, grey and black. Of course during finals, it’s a whole other story! I tend to let go, wear leggings and loose sweaters.
How did you build your wardrobe? First of all, I rarely throw away any clothing in good condition. You never know when it will come back in style. I always choose clothing pieces according to whether or not it will fit with the rest of my wardrobe. Then, the fabric and the cut are the following thing I look for. I usually buy solid colors and quality staple pieces that I can wear overtime. You can never have enough of white shirts, black pants, and black dresses. When all those staples are checked, I let myself purchase a few eye catching pieces every season.
Where do you usually shop? I love H&M and Zara for more casual pieces. Zara also has amazing blazers and Club Monaco has incredible well cut dresses. When I want something unique and cool, I go to Billie Boutique or Editorial. There, I usually find wittiest clothing pieces. For designer brands, there are not many choices in Montreal. Holt Refrew and Ssense are two the main places I shop at but only during the sale season!
Where do you get fashion tips? Who is your style icon? Mainly online: blogs (I love Garance Doré and Le Fashion), style.com, and vogue.fr, and net-a-porter.com. I love how the French Vogue editors dress, so I often take insight on them. Emmanuelle Alt, Kate Moss, and the Olsen twins are all style icons to me. The fashion shows that are featured on style.com are also great to keep up with trends!

For special occasions however, I love to dress up and put a lot of effort into my look. What are you favorite clothing stores? When I go shopping I love to go to many destinations but my favorite ones are Zara, Vero Moda and H&M. I like clothes that are trendy yet affordable. What are your favorite clothing items? Style of the week - Kat
Happy #trendytuesday everyone!! It's time for a new episode of Style of the week featuring Kat Garcia, enjoy! :)
1. If you had absolutely no constraints (all of the money in the world and no climate constraints), how would you dress?
EASY. I’d move to a very hot city near the beach and never wear winter clothes again – lots of white, high waisted jean shorts, and flowy colourful dresses. My style would be “resort wear” inspired by BCBG and Dolce & Gabbana. I’m tan all year round…I don’t do well with winter colours…a tan girl has got to dream, right? Ha-ha!
2. If you could get anybody to be the face of your fashion e-commerce, Posh Avenue, who would you get?
Posh Avenue epitomizes strong, beautiful, independent, intelligent women just screaming to be noticed for all of these qualities and there are so many Posh Gals out there. I don’t think there is one specific celebrity or person who could embody the perfect Posh Gal…I think a random girl on the street could have the same likeliness of epitomizing “posh” qualities, as much as a gorgeous celebrity.
3. What Film/TV character has inspired your wardrobe? Gossip Girl, Gossip Girl...GOSSIP GIRL. I'd like to think of my style as an inspiration based off of Blair Waldorf's closet and Serena's...well, I wish.

Style of the Week - Livia
Happy #trendytuesday everyone! Here's a new episode of style of the week featuring one of our favourite P[h]assion girls, Livia! Enjoy :)
How would you describe your style? I like clothes that are simple and feminine. I usually buy basics, like plain white tees or skinny jeans, then pair them with accessories like scarves or jewelry – makes the outfit a bit more edgy.
Who are your fashion icons? I really love the style of French actresses like Mélanie Laurent or Léa Seydoux. It’s girly but not too put together, they give off a cool attitude.
Where do you usually buy or find your clothes? I don’t have time to shop that often, but when I do it’s usually at Zara. 80% of my wardrobe comes from there and American Apparel. Then I get accessories like scarves, hats, or bags at Urban Outfitters or H&M.
What is your favorite piece of clothing? I love the backless leotards from American Apparel. I agree that this sounds kind of weird, but I swear they’re very pretty, and so comfy! I have one in black, grey, and dark blue…
Is there a fashion trend you don’t approve of? I’m really not into high-heeled sneakers. Love both sneakers and heels separately, but the combination of the two just looks weird!

Style of the week - Ankita
Hello P[h]assionistas!
We're so happy to present you the newest series of Style of The Week featuring our lovely Chief Financial Officer, Ankita! Check our her beautiful pictures below and let us know what you think :)
How would you describe your style?
I usually try to find one article of clothing thats fun and quirky and dress around it. I've got some really funky pieces of clothing.
How would you describe your outfit today? Girly? It felt like a dress kind of day.
Do you have any tips for P[h]assion’s readers trying to escape the cold weather? I'm probably not the best person to ask since I spent the first 17 years of my life in the desert but I find that staying indoors helps.
Where do you usually buy or find your clothes? Anywhere and everywhere as long as its a good deal. I'm not super loyal to any one store since I'm bit of a price tag shopper.
What did you add to your outfit to make it more special? Tons of rings! Also, this necklace that my mom gave me for my 15th birthday. Its really special to me.

Style of the Week - Elisa
We are happy to feature Elisa, one of our lovely Sponsorship Coordinators, in our first Style of the Week! Read on to find more about her French style and her favorite shops!

How would you describe your style? My style varies a lot, according to my mood or the weather. People here describe me as having a very French style… How would you describe your outfit today? Cosy and comfortable, and so warm! And I love the colourful stripes on the sides of my pants.
Do you have any tips for P[h]assion’s readers trying to escape the cold weather? Hugs, warm jumpers, and tea (my British roots maybe..)!
Where do you usually buy or find your clothes? I usually buy my clothes when I go back home in Paris, I also shop quite a bit on ASOS. But I would say the places where I find most of my clothes are Zara and Urban Outfitters.
Something interesting about yourself you want to share with us? I don’t know how to walk in heels, not so great for a girl eh!
What did you add to your outfit to make it more special? I can’t let go off my mother’s watch, it has a sentimental value and its timeless.

And before it's too late and we get overwhelmed with the holidays, here is a little Halloween throwback! Definitively the cutest dinosaur out there!
