I love the white stuff but how is it that we come to a sheer standstill with this "dusting" and places like Alaska still function with 5ft of snow??

I remember my childhood with more snow than this and we still went to school... now the little darlings get the day off???

I sort of may of ... baked!!...

Works done now until thursday, just the pre xmas house deep clean tomorrow and then I'm set!! Me and ice are are exhausted so ready for a few days to ourselves..

Cptsd at this time of the year isn't the easiest thing to deal with as the hustle and bustle.. the stress right up to after the xmas day dishes are done .. the house full of noise ... I expect to be sat been less than interactive at my parents as my folks have guests coming over as well and I will struggle. I have thought about trying to make my excuses but my folks are not well people so i want to savour every day i can with them even if my levels are pushed passed my limits...48hrs and it will all be over for another 12months!!

A morning of food prep for a busy week ahead..

1. Sausage pockets

2. Curry chicken pockets

3. Sweet potato and carrot soup

4. Tuna pasta salad

5. Chicken fried rice

Used up some food that was going soft - and got left over mixtures in the freezer too!!Baking some cupcakes next.

The pleb...

He lights up my life.. he in every sense of the word- saved my life... he listens to me while I pour my heart out...I love the bones of this meathead and will be lost when anything happens to him...

But... we currently have fallen out because I made the fatal mistake of cooking chicken last night so i was woken at 4.30am as he wanted his chicken breakfast....

It's a dogs life.... how hard this husky has it. Hes my world mind so pander to him,I mean he didnt get out of bed till 9am.. I got out he scouted to where I had been so he his head was on the pillow ( I hear all the "aww" ) ..

So yeah it's like winter again today but todays attire showcased this robe that I'm wearing as a kimono.. super summery.. I will will spring back!!

Storm Eunice... luckily it's just the rain and gloomy day here.. so glad she missed us as the battering the night before was bad enough by storm Dudley....

I'm feeling a bit low with my C-PTSD today so having a colour day. I am only working half day and then taking 9 days off. Loads of jobs around the house to do.

Planners all done ready to.. and old school vintage popper joggers on .... in a very bright colour!! I will cheer myself up today!!
