De Cap Robot Orchestra (1957) by Gebroeders Decap (Decap Brothers), Antwerp, Belgium. Decap built between seven and ten life-sized robot orchestra. They play the saxophone, drums, and a Crucianelli piano accordion, accompanied by an electric organ. Each robot has a different facial expression with illuminated eyes. They can perform around 20 movements, moving their eyes, fingers, feet, hands and heads. The saxophonist even stands up during its solo.

I have two tapes with mold right now and my family just cannot wrap their heads around why I want to keep them and I can't tell them that I think my collection of VHS tapes is actually a community of sapient beings so I just have to settle with 'I just think they're neat'.
