He was on, what must be, the worst blind-date any humanoid ant in the universe had ever been on, sitting across a female whose ancestors evolved SPECIFICALLY to eat his kind, and the fear for his very life was acknowledged-

She must've caught the scent equivalent of his laughter, as her tongue extended even farther. She flicked it in the direction of a passing waiter who buzzed in acknowledgment, zooming off to grab the night specials.
